Ok, so recently I let one of my friends know that I was in the market for a new computer. Long story short, he had one, I took a look at it, and we agreed on a price of $650. Heres a list of the specs:
I7 3770k
Evga z77 stinger mini
8 gig Kingston hyper X(genesis)
Evga gtx 660 ti
Antec 620 liquid CPU cooler with push/pull fans
Intel 510 series ssd 120 gig
Western Digital 1tb hdd
Radimax hybrid psu 730 watt
Coolermaster half stacker mini ITX case
and an LG DVD burner.
Basically, my field of expertise is plants, not computers, and I want to know if the deal we struck was fair, and what I might be able to get from it if I were to decide to sell it at some point.
Just so you know, this PC should be good for at least 3-4 years. I'm going to guess this PC is used and runs windows 7. Problem is, you will likelly see the value of the PC drop and it may not be at your tastes (also, some of these parts were guesses on my part, like the memory and the dvd drive). Do you have any budget you want your new rig to be? Cause I suggest you to check out NewEgg for pc parts. Better have something to your tastes to something made with the tastes of someone else, especially if you are not sure you can get spare parts like the case or the PSU.
