Browsing the forums, if I click the IE "Back" button to go to the previous page (i.e., the forum directory, etc.) the browser will appear to stall. Examining the History by right-
clicking the Back button, I see that the browser has passed through a redirect to, for example: casalemedia, crwdcntrl, pubmatic.
Is this a function of something infesting my browser? Because I've seen this tons on other sites. Or is it a dealio that mtgs has with somebody to track my browsing or something like
that.
Just wondering if I have to disinfect my computer, or learn to put up with it.
PS: If someone wants to say, "Install a different browser", which is the typical knucklehead response, that's fine, but it won't answer my question.
You certainly got a bad case of junk apps for browser. They often came with stuff you install on your PC, they will eventually cause lag and you need to clean them up. Best option is to reset your browser, run an anti-virus like malware bytes and a tiny bit of reading the stuff in the installation windows for some freewares.
I know what it is cause my Firefox had some.

I would suggest that you reset your browser, then run Emsisoft Emergency Kit and CCleaner. Should clear out the nasty stuff.
