I need help! I had to reinstall windows on my laptop, now when I wish to add more songs to my IPhone 4S I have to switch ITunes from "automatic" to "manually manage". To do this it tells me I must first delete all my **** on my phone. Apple products are total ****.
Does the Nokia Lumia or Android phone do this too!?
That does not horribly shock me. You should have made a back of your iTunes Library first, it helps to avoid a lot of stupid issues. Quick question though, have to linked your computer to your Apple account yet? A clean install means iTunes sees your computer as a "new" unit that has to be allowed on your account because it can link other devices already on your account such as your phone.

Switch to Samsung. Their stuff is actually better without costing as much as Apple products. It also seems easier to manage and samsung is actually becoming bigger than Apple. That's the Steve Jobs death effect.

Casual crazy magic player, otaku maniac, unrully cosplayer, what did you expect me to be?
Yea. I reinstalled windows entirely. My stupid phone sees my computer as being 'new' and does not wish to sync. I believe apple does this to prevent stealing songs. Jokes on them!
What I had to do was buy a file program (I dont think its illegal like the file sharing ones, but since I am at 2 warnings already I wont mention it just in case) that ripped the songs off my IPhone and placed them on my computer. It was an annoying process.
I tried to back up my phone but I dont think it backs up songs you dont pay for. GOD Apple sucks. The second my contract (1.5 years left) is up, I am switching to either Nokia Lumia (hearing great things and Nokia is growing in strength as a company again) or Andriod as google is a much more reliable company. I didnt do my research when buying my Iphone 4S (first smart phone I have owned) and was quickly disappointed. I am unsure if this is true, but I have read and heard that the google app store has a refund policy. When you buy an app on the Andriod phone, you have 24 hours to delete it and if you do, you get your money back. Which is epic! So many ****ty apps that trick you into paying for them.

If you're moving iTunes to another computer, it would be best to "deauthorize" the old one before you do it. That way, you should have any issues like what you experienced.
I recently moved my entire library over, and not too many issues so far.

I've never had a problem like that on my Android. Are you talking about a syncing your music from one to the other?
