I've got two credit cards and have always paid it off in time. Now, there are a few decks I want to buy on ebay and I see the option "Pay 150 every month for 6 months." How does that work? Is it like a credit card? For exxample, if it's 1,000 but I pay 150, do I accrue interest on the remaining?
I'm sure there are further details on ebay possibly linked near the text. Odds are it will require using a credit card that will be charged every month until paid off. Interest & penalties are probably explained somewhere within the details on the website as well.
Dig deeper. Email somebody there for more info. Some places have penalty fees for early pay off and/or retroactively add interest if you miss or are late on a payment. Better to know up front ALL the terms & conditions beforehand. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
Just read that page carefully. If you haven't paid off the total in the allotted timeframe, you'll be charged an APR of ~20% starting from the date of purchase. And if you pay late one month, you're charged up to $35.
It's a really *****ty deal, clearly designed for compulsive shoppers, which is where they'd make there money here. You're better off waiting until you have the money together.
