I'm not sure what exactly this guy did (I do not really care) but I would just like to say to everyone in this thread that wishing him dead does not make you better than him.

You need to look up what he did to understand. We don't just say we want to party at his funeral out of general ill will; there's a very specific poetic justice to it.

The guy's church (he founded it) organized 'protests' at soldier's funerals to mock the dead, with his followers (most his extended family) screaming about how great it is that the soldier is dead to the family members at the funeral. They're 'justification' was that because every bad thing that happens is because of the US's acceptance of Homosexuality. He's probably one of the most reviled individuals in the United States today.
Does this man suffer from some sort of mental illness? OK for a moment I thought he was from a real church. I sometimes forget how many zany religious figures the US has.

Unless you want to call being a zealot a mental illness, as far as I'm aware he doesn't. He's just a homophobic jerk profiting off of the lawsuits his people bring against anyone who (understandably) lashes out at him.
Simply put, he's just a very bad person and only his congregation will be sad to see him go.

I don't think that even his congregation is sad because they excommunicated him.
