A quaint little shop rests between the Pokemon Center, and the area Cyd uses as an arena. There's all manner of strange things hanging in the windows, on the eaves of the roof, and even inside the shop. Curious objects adorn the shelves inside, with an equally curious woman running the shop. Rummaging around through the shop may produce something interesting, but there's no guarantees. (Roll a d100 if you're rummaging, please)

After a short search, Atticus happened across the small shop. It was no wonder he hadn't noticed it-it didn't really stick out that much. Entering the shop, Atticus greeted the lady tending the shop.
"Hi, miss! I was wondering if I could buy some items. Lemme check to see what you've got here...."
While rummaging around, Atticus came across an oddly shaped stone. It wasn't like the rumoured evolution stones at all, there was no crystalline element to it's appearance. This stone appeared to be made of pure bloodstone, and while it's design (long and flat, something similar in shape to a compact disc) hinted at being crafted, the smooth surface seemed to tell of many long decades of weathering. It was an oddity, to be sure, but there was a hint of energy within, as Atticus' fingers tingled slightly when he handled it.
Almost entranced by the stone he had found, Atticus focused and remembered what he had come to the shop for.
"I'd like to buy 6 Potions and 5 Antidotes please. Oh, and would you be interested in selling this....stone? I might buy it, depending on the price...."
"Hmm? Oh, why yes, I can sell that. Let me see here . . . " Sofia said as she manually totalled everything up on a pad of paper. "The potions and stuff comes up to 2500, and I suppose I can sell that stone for 500, if you're interested in it." She said with a smile.
Trish enters the shop and, somewhat disappointed by the meager display of Trainer items for sale, starts rummaging through the shelves. "What am I looking for...maybe a flashlight? A pair of new boots?" she wonders to herself. "Noseplugs, that wouldn't be so bad either."
"How much to purchase these?" Trish holds up the gear she found on the shelves.
She adds, "I'm training my Pokemon to become stronger so I can defeat the Gym Leader. Do you know what kind of Pokemon he uses? Also, where are the strongest Pokemon around here that I can train against?"
"For that old stuff?" Sofia looks though the gear. "I would say 100. As for the gym leader, he has a wide assortment of pokemon as of late. You won't get many leaders nowadays who specialize in one type of pokemon. At least that's what I've heard. As for pokemon, not really my forte, but the swamp may give you some pokemon to fight."

Atticus handed over the required sum of the purchase and handed the mysterious stone to Sneasel.
"Here you go buddy. This seems like something you would like."
"Snea! Sneeasel!" Sneasel seemed to be happy to have something of its own to carry.
Deciding it was time to continue on, Atticus and Sneasel said goodbye to the shop owner and headed out to train on the next route.

I can't leave this swamp until I beat the Gym Leader, she thinks. Time to train harder. I can't lose like last time!
OOC: Assuming this WP hasn't completely gone belly-up, heading to the swamp.
