Silea made gentle cooing noises at the bird pokemon, holding out one hand in a peaceful gesture as her other one reached into her bag for her Pokedex and something she could feed the creature in front of her.
[OOC: I am going to South Africa for two weeks starting tomorrow morning. I do not know what my internet access will be like, so I may not be able to respond for a while. Posting this in the inactivity/return-notice thread as well, just thought I would include it here]
@Tuatha: The Wingull looks amiable. Thinking that Silea will do it no harm, it starts pecking at the ground, probably looking for worms to eat.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
@Trokair: Growlith lets out a very loud growl to the swarm of insect pokemon now heading to their position. The growl causes some of them to be knocked to their senses, causing 6 of them to stop and leave. However, there are still 4 still encroaching on their posistion. It seems there are more to this situation than Hanna expected.

@Trokair: Once the spinarak become visible to Tailow, the bird pokemon dives down to attack them. On the other front, Growlithe unleashes starts thrashing at the spinarak. The three spinarak that aren't being attacked by Tailow gang up on Growlithe, and all lunge toward it attempting to scratch it.

Silea continues murmuring soothing nonsense as she pulls her pokedex and some bread out of her bag. She scatters some crumbs on the ground as she points the pokedex at the bird pokemon.
The small pokemon gets excited at the display of food for it. It hops toward where most of the food is, and starts nibbling them up. At the same time, Silea, gets a reading on her pokedex.
Wingull, the Seagull Pokémon. Wingull will fly through the sky as though surfing waves. It normally carries food and other other valuable items, then hides them here and there.
@ jd: The pidgey kicks up the sand on the path in front of the Bellosom. The Bellossom took the attack, although it did no damage. However, it takes it's time to wipe sand out of it's eyes and the flowers on it's head before doing anything, giving pidgey time to do whatever.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
@Trokair: After dealing with the spinarak that it was attacking initially (Hanna sees that one scurying away), Tailow rises up in the air, ready to dive down to attack the next one. It does so, and it hovers above growlithe, who is trying desperately to fend off 3 spinarak at once.
However, out from behind Hanna, two vines lash out and start whipping the spinarak. Hanna looks behind to see the Chikorita helping Hanna and her pokemon.
Pidgey darts out of the dust cloud kicked up and charges into the bellossum while it removes the sand, after the attack it wheels back around for another attempt to hit the bellossum

Smile your day could be worse, so I did smile and it was worse.
OOG: Sorry for the late responces. School has been hell.... :\
@Trokair: As if in perfect unison, all three pokemon initiate their attack at the same time. Each attack hits on mark, causing the spinarak to seeminingly regain their senses, and scurry away. There are no more remaining.

@jdisawesome: "No... Bloom!" The girl shouts, seeing her pokemon attacked by the pidgey. "Use your flower sword."
The Bellossom gets back up. It then charges at the pidgey, and throws a glowing leaf at it. The leaf does not seem friendly.
OOC: Leaf Blade (the girl has terrible names for things).

Pidgey attempts to swerve but the leaf blade clips its wing, it falls a short drop to the ground into a roll. After a few tumbled the pidgey popped up back onto its feet and continues charging toward the bellosum for another tackle.

Silea nods to herself at the pokedex reading, which confirmed what she had thought.
Alright...let's try something here...
Maintaining eye contact with the Wingull at all times, she carefully reached into her bag and grabbed a pokeball, then held it out for the bird pokemon to investigate.
@jd: The pidgey runs along the ground at bloom. But obviously, the bird is not as fast on the ground as in the air, and Bloom easily dodged.
"Bloom, use your sweet scent!"
A light mist starts flowing out of Blooms flowers as the pidgey passes it, sort of entrancing the bird pokemon.

@Tuatha: The small wingull gets excited over the new obtect in front of it. However, it thinks that is food, so it starts to bounce toward it, and poke at it.

Silea laughs as the Wingull pecks at the pokeball, then carefully sets it down in front of the pokemon and presses the release mechanism, hoping the bird will acquiesce to being caught without a struggle.
@jd: The Bellosom sees that the pidgey is confused, and takes this moment to charge at it. As it runs toward the pidgey, it pulls out a leaf, and it starts to glow. (Leaf Blade again).
The miniature wingull looks very surprised as the pokeball opens up in front of it. It looks inside to find no food. It then looks up at Silea, confused. "Wingull!"

@jd: The Bellossom is once again hit dead-on by a tackle from the pidgey. However, this time, it seems like it is too much for it to bear. It stumbles back toward it's owner, still eying the pidgey in front of it. It looks like it won't take much more before it's downed.

@Trokair:
OOC: Growlithe looks fairly beaten. Tailow is fine. They both don't need medical attention, but you probably should find a pokecenter soon.
The Chikorita looks happy that you saved it, but is unsure about Hanna's question. It tries to relay a message to Hanna, but it is hard to understand due to the language barrier.

@jd: The pidgey swoop down for the finishing blow, and was about to make it, but the bellossom's trainer recalled her pokemon back.
"OK, that's enough fun for one day. You win. You trained your pidgey well."
She walked up to Ryan.
"Also, if you want to play again sometime, come back, k? Here's my number."
Ryan gained 89 Pokedollars!
Kerrie gave Ryan her phone number! (If you are in the area, and she isn't here, you can say you are calling her, and she will come here if she is free.)

The girl giggles in excitement. "Isn't this exciting, Bloom? Our first pokemon battle!" She says to her Bellossom. "Bella!"
The bellossom moves toward the pidgey, preparing to counter whatever it comes across. (Bellossom holds its action.)
