The barkeep blinks and replies with, "Oh ya I'm sorry 'bout that." He reaches into the back cabinet and pours th drink into the glass and slides it towards Ferona. "Hope its to you liking, and if not, we still got plenty of other stuff."
The man down the bar than collapses on the table. "Sorry, got a deal with this one for a second." He goes around to the man, picks him up and lays him down on one of the chairs by the fireplace.

Ferona tosses her head back and takes a deep, long swallow from the drink she bought.
After a few seconds she stops drinking and lets out an audible and satisfied Ahhh.
She calls out to the man by the fire,
"We'll be happy to help. But I don't see why spying on the prince should be our problem. From what I hear he's escaped many a wizards grasp. There are far more rewarding things we can do instead."
The man smiles and says, "Think about it, if he happens to escape and get into trouble, and yes those are different things, he would be grateful for us helping him out. That would get you all connections to those high up. And if that doesn't work, he is still human and we can all black mail him. Either way there are major advantages to helping him over someone else."

The man laughs and goes, "Find him, not in the least. However, I do know what sort of 'activities' he tends to do over his escaped sprees. We can spread out, place a lure, and hope he gets close enough to the net."

Ferona looks over at her companions. They seem willing to help the guard. She gives a slight shrug and continues drinking. Maybe finding the prince could be fun.
Ira mused the idea of protecting the prince and the rewards they might get.
"hmmm....will the effort be worth it....."
looking around the place with a look of mild disgust she added.
"might be better than staying here...."
"So, lemme get this straight. You want us to find the prince, whom has eluded you and other gaurd members?" the catfolk makes a mock pause. "Hell, I'm in, any chnace to show I'm more competent than the royal guard is worth the time and effort."

"Sounds good to me. I don't have the silver for another day here anyway." Keelan chuckled. "So either someone else gets to pay, or we get to take this job. I rather relish the idea of saying a few things to His Highness, too."
Feona finishes her drink then sets in down on the bar with a loud thump. Seeing the matter of the prince settled, she decides to wander around the tavern to see if she can find anything to fill the rest of the day. Coming upon the group of men playing cards she stands to one side and watches their game.
"What's this game then?"
Finishing the vodka, Crowbeak burps, then stands. "Right then. I'm off to get some rest. When Sol rises we'll meet here. 'Night," he says, placing his mug on the bar, and nodding to the bartender. He then makes his way to the halfling, and takes his room for the night.
Ferona pulls out a gold piece from the bag of coins she wears around her waist. She presents it to the men and waves it in front of her.
"Now then if you gentlemen would care to explain the rules, I think I might have a few more of these lying around."
The half-ling nods and and hands Ira her key, "Certainly, third room on the left."

The guards look at Ferona with a grin. The largest one places a deck down on the table, "In this deck there are the standard set of one to tens and the royals. Each of you will be dealt a card face down. When I tell you without looking place the card face out on your forehead. Your job is to bluff everyone out and hpe you have a card of larger value. Only 4 of us will be playing right now though."
OOC: I will be using actual cards to do this.

The large guard nods and says, "Nice, take a seat." than he deals a card to Ferona and the other four players, including himself, "In the count of three place the card on your forehead. Three, two, one, now." When the cards are flipped onto the players foreheads in you see clockwise order; on a guard with an orange buzz cut a one, on the large guard you see a 5, on a female half-orc guard you see a four, and on a male with long black hair you see another one.

"Got nothing to do and this seems interesting"
Ira straps her flute to the side of her belt and approaches the halfling.
"Please may I have my room key?"
