You are playing in the same campaign setting as Adytum. The plane is known as Iona, and I've attached the map to this post for your benefit. The plot are set about a hundred years before the events of the Adytum of the Conclave.
For various reasons your characters most recently traveled (or were headed to) Túreo. You can think about and decide why as you begin posting.
You awake suddenly with a pain in your head. You can't quite remember what just happened, but now you are here instead of where you were.
It's dark, and your arms are bound above your head by chain manacles. You seem to be in a small room or cave, your back is sore and pressed against a rock wall. The air absolutely reeks of death.
Grey light and dust pour through the bars of the door. Wherever you are, it seems you've been imprisoned here.
In the dimness you can make out others in the cell. A rattling sound comes from the outside, and the door suddenly opens.
A man steps in. He wears armor and flowing white garments of a priest, which are stained with blood. A wound oozes at his side.
"Is anyone alive in here?" He asks, coughing up blood; "Let's get out of this place. It's dangerous." He takes keys out from a pouch and sways dizzily as he walks over to release you.
"W.....wh......where is my niece?" his voice dry, sore and full of only one thought.
"W...where am I?" he says, barely able to make out the man entering the room. Only after a moment did he hear the keys and see his attempting to help him
"Damn! What in the name of the Spider Queen's Drider pet sock puppet is going on!?"

Blasphemy! The system is perfect. The ability to create a spell to duplicate gods at skill check DC 10 is totally balanced and doesn't say anything about the system's viability!
And yes, no incantatrix for you. Or anyone. That class makes puppies cry. Mostly because they are the former Big Bads who have been Baleful Polymorphed into said puppies. By you. Because you're an incantatrix.

This is Deraxas we're talking about.
Remember, the girl that just killed an aspect of herself before literally consuming her?
Yeah, I don't see her handling a pissing match in any way other than a duel.

I suppose it's true. Though the logistics implied in a human/Great Wyrm Prismatic Dragon pairing makes me shudder.
...Something tells me that even should all arcane casters in the world unite, that the Grease spell would NOT be sufficient.

Reaching down, Kakita grabs his belongings and looks to the wounded man.
"Here drink this" he says pulling a vial of clear liquid from his pouch.
"It will heal those wounds, and you truly deserve it" he holds the potion out to the soldier for his consumption.

"Thank you," The priest says haggardly as he drinks the potion; "I've been down here for a week trying to escape the caves. I think we're somewhere in the mountains. All of my healing magic is gone after fighting the abominations."
"Krast! By the thraking sword of Arvoreen! How do I end up in these workars every time I leave the thraking clanhome?"
Cottar, a wild-looking halfling, did not care to wait for the priest to unshackle him by less-violent means. No, he preferred to try and pull the chains from the wall himself. No point in not displaying the strength of his clan through the strength of his arms.

"I do not know why we are here, but I will appreciate the aid in fighting our way free" Kakita, says moving towards the opened cell doors.
"I am ready to fight, are you?" he says looking to the rat and halfling as they gather their gear.
"Michiko, stay behind us and becareful, I can not have you harmed" Kakita says moving into the hall, his blade still sheathed but his hand ready to draw at a moments notice.

Michiko can tell that the wound is supernatural in origin. Regular healing wont fully remove it. As she casts her spell, the blood stops flowing but it remains blackened and throbbing.
As Kakita looks down the corridor of the caves, he sees bodies strewn everywhere. The floor is covered with the dead.
Looking to the Samurai Pinkeye stands "Though I can fight I am not the best when it comes to rushing head on. My skills are better suited to drawing out the weakness of my enimes."
