Amarra rolled her eyes as soon as Neishu approached her and her companion. She folded her arms and watched the exchange between the two with feigned indifference. In truth, she was simply sizing up each and every individual standing before her.
When Rath'Tallynfein relaxed, she let a small sigh of relief escape. Turning to Neishu, she smiled and enchanting smile and said, "My name's Amarra, and trust me, the pleasure is all yours."
Lyrillon turns to the newcomers, moving up a few feet off the ground. He stares skeptically at the two drow, readying himself for a possible fight. He does not start casting any spells, nor does he remove the bow from his back, but it is clear he is ready to do either at any sign of hostility.
"What are you doing here?" he booms with a stern and skeptical tone of voice. "I cannot say I am used to two...drow...appearing." The word 'drow' is dripping with something between extreme suspicion and disgust.
Amarra cocked her head at the next one to speak. "You don't listen well, do you? Rath'Tallynfein just told you lot our purpose for being here."
She paused for a moment, and walked closer to Lyrillon. She was short than the elf, and every step she made seemed lithe and graceful as any elven maiden he had encountered in his lifetime. Purposefully invading his personal bubble, she stood mere inches from the archer and looked up in his eyes before saying, "I am not used to a half-celestial being such a pompous bastard. Oh, wait, I am. It seems like that trait is universal amongst your kind." She made certain to match the exact tone Lyrillon used when he spoke of her race.
"Maybe I would be a little less suspicious if your friend here didn't appear to be preparing to fight something," Lyrillon says.
As the drow comes closer Lyrillon becomes slightly uneasy. As she approaches him he becomes more tense and more ready to defend himself or attack an enemy at will. "Well, if you were truly sent by the curator then I am willing to put aside our difference for now," he says, though he does not sound too happy about the prospect. "However, before we can do that, I will need some assurance that you are not lying," he adds, eyes narrowing skeptically.
Amarra rolled her eyes. "If you had half of an idea what it is like to be hunted your entire life for being born into a particular race, then you'd know why he prepared for a fight. Actually, all things considered, he showed great restraint not to gut one of you simply because of the looks you gave us. Normally, those are the looks that lead before someone tries to take our lives."
"Now," she said, taking yet another step closer to Lyrillon, "How could I ever convince you to trust me?"
"Well," says the half-celestial as he floats backward a few feat, "you could start by dropping the charade. We do not have time to deal with that kind of thing right now. I'm sure you understand why, at least if you are telling the truth."
Lyrillon's gaze softens for a moment and he looks at Amarra. In a much calmer and more civil tone of voice than he had before, the high elf continues. "I will not believe that the curator would have been silly enough to send us aid in the form of two drow without giving them some way to prove their story. She is much too smart for that. So, I ask again, can you prove that she was the one who sent you?"
Amarra rolled here eyes again and shook her head. With a quick move, she produced a letter the Curator had written for the drow to present to adventurers. "Is this what you were looking for?" she asked, sounding thoroughly bored and annoyed.
The letter is sealed with blue wax, the imprint is an open book with a key as its bookmark (knowledge: local to know what it means).
Within, there is spidery handwriting.
Greetings Researchers,
Please kindly escort the two drow bearers of this message with you. I have instructed them to ensure that you will be protected from your enemies. They will aid you with your current tasks so that you can return to other matters swiftly. You will receive word from me about what to do with them in the near future.

Sorry about the non posting, i had the page opened but started doing something else and i kinda forgot i was going to write.
That being said, ASA i never said or intended to imply I had met the curator, I said that he was the reason the group was here (in retrospect i probably ****ed up that post since i was posting near midnight and i had slept little to nothing yesterday and my mind was well off.. if so apologies for the confusion)
Now to catch up with everyone
Looking at Amarra he politely returns the smile "And the disgust lady i assure you is all yours".
"Lyrillon are the contents of the letter to your liking? if so I will like you to note Rath's reaction is partly my fault as well, it seems one tends to get people ready to strike when one cant sheathe a sword, but unshaping it would require me to reshape it at a later time and without proper rest it becomes an arduous task which i cant repeat often" Neishu says to the Half-Celestial "Add to that the obvious distrust we have gnawing at us due to the recent events and its clear he could not have reacted in any other fashion"
"I suppose the Curator gave them enough understanding of the current situation, or at least enough to understand i am only a part time Marut" he adds with a grin as he remembers how he currently looks.
By the way if i wanted to make a Knowledge Check on Drow i would use Dungeoneering right?

We got about 6 seconds now.." Rory responds, looking at empty space as though preparing for something. Overhearing the conversation between the drow he responds shouting: "Oh trust me, I DO know.. Then again, it's not because of my race.."

"gnome?" Neishu asks curiously, not really having even noticed the little fella until he decided to scream.
"What was that little fella? Im sorry i must admit i did not notice you there" he says calmly with a smile, not really sure what the gnome is so worried about, then again knowing the gnomish race it could really be something serious or it could just be an Imaginary Invisible Butterfly.

Is it a mind affecting effect? because if so im sorta like immune, well technically im dazzled but the effect is suppressed for as long as Enigma Helm is Shaped or for the Duration of the Dazzling effect whichever comes first
"Oh... I see" says Neishu calmly his smile not faltering though he now gives the claims more credit, though not by much, "So demon Hordes from the abyss assail you? well we will deal with that soon enough, in a way its a good way to see our new friends here validate their claim to be working to aid us on request of the Curator"he says as he turns to look at Lyrillon "Test by Fire is always a good way to see how newcomers handle things after all"

Radiant Creature. You see no aura at all from the creature or from his items, nor can you really make anything out of the creature's spellcasting abilities, other than what you've seen. (Mind Blank/Blank Aura.)

You seem to be under the delusion that all of us are as stupid and munchkined as you. I'd like to point out that regular (non-cheating) characters don't have saves through the roof.
As a general idea, you shouldn't be able to beat your own saves without trying. Otherwise everything else will too.
Lyrillon reads the note somewhat skeptically and sighs. "Very well, I'll believe it for now. But don't think for a moment," he adds, "that I actually trust you."
The half-celestial, having finished reading, hands the note to the Astral Deva. "It looks reasonable enough to me."
The seal is that of the Curator. In fact not this Curator's personal seal, but that of the position. The contents of the letter also appear legitimate. The same seal is used inside, as well as that of the Library of Tychos (too abstract to describe here).
I checked Halinn's and Sepiriel's sheets, and they can. I just made a generalization. Now that I checked, Ti'rin does too. Yukora and you don't. Caex and Boros aren't ready. Either way, 4 out of 8 are bound to pass it on everything but natural 1-s.
At epic level, everything beats their save DCs without trying because save DCs scale slower than save-increasing items. A third level spell gives you +6 morale bonus to all saves for 10min/lvl. Empowered that is +9, and there are a lot of spells like it.

I'm just waiting for you lot to get on a boat and get your asses over to the island where Michael is waiting for you.
Michael, upon arriving at the docks, sees no 'pilgrims' or boat. He sits down on a crate near the docks and waits for the group he's supposed to keep an eye on, serenely humming a song of Pelor to pass the time.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
That will take sometime if im reading Amadi correctly, we have a hellish horde ready to jump on us... that being said are you sure you are not in the pier looking at a strange group of misfits quarreling and being altogether flamboyant?
This is the one thing im so confused with who is where

I placed Caex on Thossis, everyone else is on Arcelia. The reasoning is simple: he's a saint, so it makes sense for him to already be on the holy isle he was sent to a month ago. Also, there's a certain density of character entrances on Arcelia that starts to become a little ridiculous.
Rest assured, if Sepiriel were to try any metagaming I would deal with the situation accordingly. I made an error (not my first or last) and addressed that error to the best of my ability. I'm already aware double checking people's character sheets reduces my likelihood of making an error, and I'm pretty thorough about it when it comes to encounters and things that are more complex, less easy to amend, than a detect evil result. But I have some advice for you in turn: the attitude that you take to that error is your choice. Just in case you happen to dislike being needlessly frustrated about trivial matters that should amount to fluff between party members. End of discussion.
Sir! I display a general garment and you act as though it were custom-tailored to your frame. Yes, I was frustrated with you for not noticing the item. But I was more frustrated with Halinn for continuing the vein of conversation after we had determined that an edit needed to be made. And until I can see that a player who I have previously seen metagame (and use metagame logic) is not metagaming, I will make the assumption that the player will metagame in the future. Sepiriel and I have had discussions regarding a situation where he has admitted he wouldn't have acted as he did had he known how I would react in turn. That's metagaming.
Rath'Tallynfein looks at the freshly-arrived halfling. "If your actions have angered the demons, explain to me why we shouldn't just throw them your corpse to appease their wrath." He draws his blades and readies for battle.
Shifting stance to enter Mind Games, readying an action to react at the first sign of hostile action from any source.
