Following is a brief breakdown of the various d20 system classes, and the books in which they can be found. Classes are organized by the roles they play in a party- note that some classes occupy several positions, as they are flexible enough to be adapted to multiple roles (although often with less efficiency).
d20 System has many classes, and more are released each month. This list only contains classes from licensed WotC material, and is not a comprehensive list. If I have missed a class, or a new supplement is released with new classes, please respond and I will update this list.

Well, I can't really give you any mechanical information, but I can summarize.
The Wu Jen is a bit like the Wizard, but instead of getting free metamagic and item creation feats, they develop "spell secrets" for spells they know, allowing them to apply metamagic effects to them at a reduced cost. They also have a list of taboos they develop as they level up, which restricts their behavior. Some taboos might include never eating meat, not allowing their face to be shown to others, never touching a certain type of weapon or object, and that sort of thing.
The Shugenja is a spontaneous divine caster that ends up falling somewhere between the Sorcerer and Druid in terms of role. They have a skill-like class feature in their Sense Elements ability, which lets them detect a certain type of element, and they have a chosen elemental school, from the 4 classic Aristotlian elements. They also have orders they belong to, which is a little like a psion's discipline or a cleric's domain.
