On a more serious note, the cloak would probably be a good investment, I'm very worried about his will saves at the moment. I'd take one of those over some bracers of armor, since I can pull barkskin, haste or displacement if things get really bad.
I would still get the bracers, as I believe you can stack the potion effect on the bracers. But your character, I'm just trying to make less work for my character to do in protecting yours. He's Chaotic Neutral, but in his mind keeping the party safe means a better chance to keeping himself safe until the fight goes too badly for him.
Also: I will not kill or steal for random fun. That's pretty borderline evil, however my character is not against cheating people out of things if it'll bring the journey closer to an end so he can go on the next one.

You don't have to worry too much about protecting Ursinus, I think. He should be able to hear/see trouble from miles away and prepare for it. If that fails, he still has his healing pool, which pretty much ups his health by 70 points. Ursinus, being kinda a mother goose, will worry more about protecting you than you protecting him. Even if it ends up the other way around.
As to cheating and stealing: Ursinus isn't going to care if you rip off a couple drunks at the inn or even from the rich and powerful. The law isn't really something Ursinus concerns himself with.

Well ripping off a couple of drunks and rich losers at the gambling tables is not a bad thing. If they were going to waste it in the first place then best it goes to our cause so that we can protect them from whatever "problem" comes around. As long as it's not too big of one. However try to keep a low profile with the law, things just get messy and either we'll have to break you out if we can't find a replacement for you or we have to pay someone to be your replacement.
Jordle is a fairly egotistical and self-centered gnome, which is not uncommon among those with substantial magical talent. He values friendship and respects strength, but is unlikely to take too many actions that are not in his own interest.
No issues with random trouble here. Chaotic does not mean insane!
Rules question: my bloodline grants me a bonus spell (hideous laughter) at 5th level that is ordinarily a 2nd level Sorc spell. I assume it's counted as 5th level for the purposes of me casting it and applying metamagic feats. Is that correct?

Nope. That just means at character level 5, you add that specific spell to your list of spells known. It doesn't affect how it functions or what level it is.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
Ok, then there's a followup question. The Fey bloodline grants me the use of some spells that are normally restricted to druids and rangers (e.g. entangle, tree stride) What is their spell level in my case?

Did a bunch of edits for Ursinus. Added backstory, changed up some of his discoveries to make him slightly more useful. Oh yeah, I also got rid of the second spellbook, some other random junk and made 20 potions of cure serious wounds. That enough potions for you fellows?
I've been looking at other people's characters and they great The original concept for Ursinus was that he be Chaotic Good, but now I'm glad I changed him. An entirely chaotic party would probably not be a good thing. It's strange, but I think being responsible with Ursinus could turn out to be fun.

I find that having a healthy mixture of alignments really adds to the fun of a party myself- getting to roleplay different approaches to problem solving is really one of the best parts of the game.

Problem: 500 Zombies.
Jordle's Solution: Go get 'em, voidy!
Alexander's Solution: A skillful blend of sorcery and steel.
Ursinus's Solution: Splash damage/fire breath/hide under a boat.

Voidy is mostly going to be there to deliver touch spells and ruminate on the nature of chaos. He should be a fun little guy That art was just so cool- when I first saw it, the idea for the character came to me instantly.
Jordle is going to be a little better characterized than he is now- he's a wandering master illusionist and invisimancer, beholden to no greater power, on his own quest to understand the fundamental natures of reality.
He prefers to charm or dominate enemies and then cast greater invisibility and throw in blasts from his Emergency Pyrestick (wand of fireballs).

That art was pretty amazing, I have to admit. Too good to pass up. The only sort of familiar that an alchemist can get is the tumor kind. Sure, like that's happening. Originally, I wanted to make a Hellbred Alchemist, the reincarnation of a really bad dude then Caex said only official Paizo and Hellbred got nixed. I think I prefer Ursinus in any case.
I can really picture the three of us, all invisible, 'sneaking" through the snow covered woods. Probably ruining the spell by arguing loudly.
In terms of tactics, I don't really know what will be most effective. He's got a lot of healing, a fair bit of damage, a fair bit of buffing and high skills but they're kinda scattered all over the board. I think he's definitely going to be the guide though, since he has by far the best survival.

Glad you agree A tumor is just nowhere near as visually appealing, don't you agree? Also, tumors seem a bit out of character for a good elf
That totally sounds like what I'm imagining with this character, hahaha. A little bit the stereotype absent-minded gnome mage, but a little more fleshed out.
I think we'll sorta have to figure it out as we go.
Caex, I'm considering changing my 6th level spells to Utter Contempt and Vengeful Outrage, if you will allow it to work the way I'm hoping to model: as a bad dominate monster versus one target, with longer casting time.
Make the creature hate the world, then fill it with desire to exact revenge for all the slights it has suffered. Very emotion-meddly. Fits the concept much better than my current spells.
Does that seem reasonable?
EDIT: spells are still getting edited, may not end up being relevant.
EDIT2: Ok, I'm happy with all my spell choices but 6th level. I'm open to some input from you guys, and I'm gonna put down some of my thoughts regarding the character, because I can't stand to have a PC that isn't tightly integrated.
Jordle has a touch of the Fey in his family's blood, and that lent him powers over nature even before he became a sorcerer. His long-term driving process is his internal conflict over what reality is: as he grew aware of his ability to manipulate the natural world, his illusionist and enchanter skills matured, granting him a simultaneous understanding of the role of the mind in perception of the physical world. He has never reconciled this apparent philosophical (but crucial) conundrum- if he can shape both "reality" and the "illusions" to cause his intended effects, then what is the difference between them?
When Jordle became high enough level to cast contact other plane, he was fortunate enough (although some scholars claim that mere force of mental desire can be channeled through magic subconsciously to change the outsome) to reach the plane of pure chaos, Limbo. The creature that he encountered was pleased by his understanding of the basic duality of existence, and manifested as a protean voidworm, a common familiar for extraplanar mages. Although Jordle believes that he has reached a highly intelligent being with a superior understanding of the cosmos, a voidworm is in fact not terribly bright; on average somewhat less so than a person. He therefore increasingly accepts the tiny shapeshifter's uninformed and unhelpful opinions as fact.
So what do you guys think?
EDIT3: Caex: Would you potentially allow me to take Zone of Silence as a 4th level Sorcerer spell? For some reason I thought more classes had it than just bards
EDIT4: Disregard all above, I have worked out spells to my satisfaction!
Problem: 500 Zombies.
Jordle's Solution: Go get 'em, voidy!
Alexander's Solution: A skillful blend of sorcery and steel.
Ursinus's Solution: Splash damage/fire breath/hide under a boat.
Alexander's second solution: Good thing I have a fire spell and a breath weapon spell...now if only we can get them into a funnel.
Also I'm changing a few spells in order to focus my character a bit more. Other than that I just need to hear DM approval of the character and I'm good. :3
Edit: Noticed a few things that were off, like the fact I had racial abilities that weren't human and the fact that my Magus Arcana didn't make sense with level progression. Fixed both and hopefully there wont' be any more screw ups on my part. ><

Right, I wouldn't be asking if it were the same level. Here are the three spells in question:
entangle is spell level 1 for druids and rangers.
poison is spell level 4 for oracles, clerics, and witches, level 3 for druids.
tree stride is druid 5 / ranger 4.
Sorry, I'm sure that question seemed dumb at first. I promise there was a legitimate rules issue

Ah I see.
It'll be the lowest level listed on the description. So tree stride would be a level 4 spell. Poison would be a level 3 spell.
