Hi there guys.
Lets make D&D characters
However there are rules to this.
Rule1. You may only use the basic races
Rule2. You may only use the basic classes
Rule3.You must use the following rules for stats: 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8 and money is maximum divided by 2 this also applies for age, hight and weight
Rule4. Your character must be from 3.5 (cos 4th ed is terrible No offence wizards of the coast)
Rule5. Must be a lvl 1 character
The character below is so you have an example and may copy to save you time.
How about some more information, as for which setting the character should be? What about some background? Plans to evolve that character with new levels or to give him a prestige class later on? Anything that makes the character more individual than 6 set numbers for abilities? (thats a reason I prefer the Abilty system from Neverwinter Nights)
K
Firstly ididnt know there was a D&D sub forum.
The character are a compition to see how undeer equal circumstances which character is most effective.
I am willing to run a campain but please no more than six people.
You can make a fourth ed character if you wish but you will not be able to use it in the campain if it goes ahead.
However this is basicly a compition to test character creation skills. If i decide that a campain will continue the six best characters will be selected. if the user so wishes to participate.
What other sourcematerial are we allowed, apart from PHB and DMG? I understand the only basic races and classes part, but are we allowed to use some other.. Options from other books, like feats / skills, etc. (Variant class features?)
No, I'm not talking about level 1 LG Cleric with Maxed out Know: Religion yelling "Pazuzu, Pazuzu, Pazuzu!" all over the place, but this still seems to be an important question.

BS: The grandchild of a Seraph and a human Amarth lived on the edge of a spiritual abyss between good and evil as a child. Living on the streets after his father died and never knowing his mother left him with few options. His grandmother Sophia told him who he was and that he could become like her if he never took life from any living thing and kept piety in his heart. She flew him over the city of Bruxenbury and left him on the doorstep of an orphanage ran by a rather strange guild theif. He took the boy in and taught him how to infiltrate, sneak and spy and how to use non-lethal weapons. His training took only a short 6 years until Amarth was mastering his path lacking only in expirence he took employment in secret with the King and Queen of Bruxenbury as a security advisor. His true purpose was to work in tandem with an Elf Belemin, an assassin. Amarth would infiltrate the homes of suspected traitors to the crown and gather the proof of guilt or innocence and return it to the guard captain. If the proof of guilt was judged the traitor would die silently and bloodlessly. The innocent never knew of the shadow of suspiscion. as a code name for Amarth they called him the fox because he was never caught nor seen when he struck.
