Sorry, but no Malconvoker. And paranoid and sadistic are two traits that aren't smiled upon. Remember, you have to be a good-aligned character. Paranoid/good is possible, but sadistic/good is a no-no.
I could keep it in check on anything that doesn't deserve it. Those little imps, however.. Probably not good, but neutral, too.
What's the hate on Malconvoker, I've always liked that class for a lot of reasons, but it seems like most DMs dislike it to death.
Are we allowed Dragon Magazines? I see Ti'rin assumed so with his Duelist's Cloak. I would like to clear this question up now, rather than after I have used dragon magazines on my character.

I made the assumption since the only forbidden things Caex said were "No custom items" and "no legacy weapons or artifacts."
Hell, I don't have anything magical yet.
Though that kind of limits us to the specific magical weapons and specific magical armors listed in the sourcebooks (like Demon Armor or Elven Chain).

Hey Caex any responses to the Domain change i asked earlier? is it ok? Im missing the items, but already did a preliminary Spell list.. still need to do skills and the rest of the crunch... but those will be easier to do once the items are in place... now i wonder what to get.

Allow me to clarify that by 'custom items' I mean items that you have created yourself. Those goggles of swashbucklers insight you created are an example.
Also, no items with multiple effects. So no items with multiple armor bonuses of different types, or, for example, a Ring of Telepathy and Protection +5.
Feel free to throw normal enchantments and enhancement bonuses on your weapons and armor.
It's a fine line, but one I'm prepared to walk till the end.
Dragon Magazine is usually fine as long as you PM me the specifics on the item in question. There may be some things I deny, but most of the time as long as you PM me the item beforehand, I'll approve it.

Eh... Feel free, I guess. I've never cared much about Domains. As long as they're somehow related to your Deity, it's fine.

Considering that you didn't say that before, can I PM the specifics to you now?
Also, regarding items, can we used enhancements that you have created (like Ghostly for armor)?
Besides, I have no need to take those goggles you mention. I'm already a level 3 swashbuckler.
Finally, if the item already exists in one respect (like a Ring of Evasion), can we make it a different type of item (like Boots of Evasion)?

I'd say no for Ghostly armor or anything else I've created. I would consider that custom.
You can make items into different types, but there is a cost increase as indicated here under the 'Body Slot Affinities' section at the bottom. If you move an effect from an item it has affinity with to one it doesn't, it'll cost 50% more.
Though, to use your own example, I would consider Evasion to be a movement ability, so there wouldn't be an increase in cost from a Ring to a pair of Boots.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
I knew about the body slot formula change, but I wasn't sure if you'd consider that "custom" or not.
Thought I'd ask.

The 'spells of the evil school' think could cause problems, since the party is supposed to be good or good-leaning.
How, exactly, is your character good-leaning if he's blasting things apart with evil spells?
@ Amadi: No Incantatrixes. Those are very nearly auto-banned in just about every game.

It's a PrC from Heroes of Battle that focuses on creating a "tapestry", through which you can cast beneficial spells (Up to 5th level.), that you can then apply to all your teammates within a certain radius.
It is a really effective PrC for buffing/healing. (Although I won't have access to healing magic as a wizard.) Just imagine buffing Empowered Shield, Empowered Haste, stoneskin, Improved Invisibility or Fly to your whole party. Now imagine doing a few of those in a round.

Fighter/rogue/scout/swashbuckler/dervish/tempest (lol). Character concept is a CG human who is left to the exposure of the desert by his parents after it was determined that he was not suitable to be a strong member of society. Discovered and raised by a wandering janni band. Uses two resin vorpal scimitars to be a critical hit god . Phobia is abandonment.
Wizard/sorcerer/ultimate magus. CN, grew up in dark-ages era insane asylum due to being in a magic-intolerant society that quickly took note of her unusual abilities. Not quite crazy, just very disturbed. Phobia is being constrained or trapped, claustrophobia.
Monk/druid/some useful prestige class. LN hermit from the mountains whose pasttime is writing the mystical hagiographies of the xian. Combines a monastic sense of non-action with a natural view of holistic balance, seeking enlightenment in the tranquility of nature. Has an aversion to civilization as you might expect, but is particularly afraid of his own raging emotions; of losing control thereof. Has a troubled past, difficulty trusting others, and his withdrawal from society is very much a means of running away from his painful childhood.
Paladin/sorcerer/favored soul/mystic theurge. LG, possibly a worshiper of Heironeous. Born into immense poverty, he overcame his natural disadvantages to great success. Phobia is failing, of falling short of excellence and the consequences it has on his loved ones and innocents. Has an overly healthy ego, self-absorbed inasmuch as he thinks he's the one who has to save everyone else, and views people as essentially helpless. His charisma score doesn't help. He has good intentions but needs to be knocked down some pegs.
Will edit in final character into first post of this thread.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
So right now I'm thinking Warlock/Cleric/Hellfire Warlock/Eldritch Disciple. The character would be CN, with a very weird personality which would start out less pronounced and get more obvious the more he uses hellfire. The idea is he acts CG most of the time, so he only starts attacking evil creatures and things that provoke him. However, once he starts throwing eldritch (and especially hellfire) everywhere, he starts enjoying himself a little too much and can be a bit hard to stop. He will generally apologize for losing control, but it will inevitably happen again.
I haven't decided on the phobia yet, but I may go with a fear of accidentally killing things that don't deserve it (which he does once in a while when he loses control).
If my character can afford it, can he have all the spells from the Spell Compendium in his books? I won't use very many of them. I just want to have them just to claim his vast knowledge.
Hello. I'm kirby's friend, the one who he mentioned is thinkig of playing the drunken master. I have my character mostly done. Playing a Claustrophobic dwarf, mostly because that sounds interesting and makes a neat back story. Does that work for a severe phobia, or does he need a different/another one? Other than that, he's a LN Monk/drunken master who likes drinking, and tries to look out for his team mates, while he is concious. Does this work?
The 'spells of the evil school' think could cause problems, since the party is supposed to be good or good-leaning.
Hellbred has this little thing called Evil Exception that states "Regardless of Alignment or Class restrictions, a Hellbred can cast spells with the evil descriptor and never gains negative levels when wielding evil magic items"
How, exactly, is your character good-leaning if he's blasting things apart with evil spells?
Due to the Scourge (what made him Hellbred not the WoW Plague :p), he is forever tainted with access to evil powers, he aims to use this power in order to do as much good as he can in hopes that doing so will grant him divine intervention and severe the claim Devil's have on his soul. At the same time, he is practical, he knows this is just hope and has about a 25% if not lesser chance of actually happening, thats why he follows Afflux, she (he/it?) promises an alternative with Undeath, a way to remain in this Material plane forever and that way denying the devil's their claim.
He doesnt revere Afflux, but he is willing to follow her since she offers a means of escape that have much more chances of success, while retaining the hope that perhaps if he does enough good deeds if his demise comes to be some grander power will intervene and act on his behalf.
Player wise, Oaheim will defend his power choices by stating "Even the most Unholy of powers can be used for good, the trick comes in not letting the power corrupt your soul, luckily my soul is already damned so I dont worry about such things"

Just finished everything on the sheet except the background. And I also have forgotten until now that I need to tell all my DMs that I won't be around from the 15 until the 24th this month.
