Alright.
I'm going to try this again.
I think I understand where I screwed up last time.
Interested parties sign up, declare which character type you wish to play and include a bio for your character.
Requirements: Your character works at a technological research lab-city in rural Canada run by Butterfly Corporation. What does he/she do there? If you wish to play something a little 'round the twist (like a dilettante), explain why your character is employed by a multinational megacorporation like Butterfly and why your character would have been sent to this small city.
This lab is a self-contained living and working environment. No one is allowed into the perimeter and no one is allowed to leave that way, either. The only licensed departures from the facility are the flights in and out at the facility's runway. These include supply transports and corporate executives visiting the research facility.
There are a number of projects going on at the facility. If you wish to be a researcher, make up a project and I will endeavor to incorporate it. If I cannot, I will work with you to find a project that I have already included.
I will only be allowing three to four players, so the bios will be the source of my judgment. The better the bio, the more likely you'll be included.
When you're designing your characters (for I don't see anyone doing a bio without simultaneously doing at least a preliminary design), they're level 1.
All characters must start with Butterfly Corporation as one of their allegiances.
Anything further will be edited to this post as I think of it.
Never forget: there's always someone bigger, better and stronger than you.
Someone once asked me why, when I talk about House Dimir, I don't put the word "the" in front of it.
At the time, I had no answer, but it just came to me.
Do we put the word "the" in front of God?

PUPPIES AND BUNNIES!!
A Storyteller is not a GM. A GM is God. God is one of the Storyteller's little minions.

Everything I say is fully substantiated by my own opinion.
Well I am interested. I would like to be the strong character. My back story is a long the lines of a former special forces type who works in security for Butterfly.
My back story is along the lines of a former special forces type who works in security for Butterfly :D.
Question: Are there weapons projects at the facility? If so, my character will probably be someone who tests the weapons. Or maybe someone who has some part in designing the targeting/accuracy systems.
Either a former sniper for the Rangers, or a former contract killer trying to go straight.
Everything scares me... kitties scare me... squirrels scare me... corpses....corpses bring forth a pletora of confusing feeling which i prefer not to dwell on...:p
There are many projects going on at the facility.
And yes, Butterfly does have defense contracts that include experimental personal firearms manufacture.
Since this facility is highly secure and restricted access, it would stand to reason that some of the more lucrative defense contracts would be studied there.
