I am interested in doing a Magic: the Gathering based campaign, I want 4 players that are willing to particpate in essentially five seperate campaigns one right after the other, each one will involve you making a new character. I only want players who are willing to participate whole-heartedly, just because the campaign dies down for a day doesn't mean it is over it just means I or the other players were busy that day.
All 5 campaigns will be level 15 Gestalt, 32 point Mamelon point-buy. Please give your character some story and personality.
Campaign 1: Set in Kamigawa (Oriental Adventures is highly recomended)
The four PC's have been sent out to help a Samurai of famous lineage complete his destiny of slaying the 33 Oni Lords. He can slay the lords easily enough himself but to have to honorably fight such despicable creatures while their minions are at his heels make the task much harder. Additionally skills will be useful in case of traps, riddles, etc.
Campaign 2: Set in Ravnica (Cityscape could be useful)
The Orzhov is doing one of it's few authentic religous rituals that have made it through the ages, they are highly suspect that another guild is planning on interferring. You have been hired to investigate and try to make sure the ritual reaches completion.
Campaign 3: ?
Campaign 4: ?
Campaign 5: ?
Dice Roller1 D4 rolled
4
Dice Roller1 D3 rolled
1
Dice Roller1 D2 rolled
1
Dice Roller1 D1 rolled

2314
Whilst it is unimportant now once you make a character for the other campaigns post it in the same post as your other characters.
I will need some help with Gestalt but I'm quite interested.

jajaja so In, i like Magic Based games, specially if its in Gestalt, I already have an idea in mind, i mean Monk 11/Ninja 4 // Fighter 15... only thing im wondering is if i should consider using VoP for flavor reasons :p.
Oh is LA Buyoff allowed? coz if it is im cosidering Insectile Template... as much for flavor as for mechanical reasons
Question, is this before, during, or after the Kamigawa book cycle? (kinda important since knowing whether or not the Kami's are killing mortals will affect the idea of the build and might need me to rework the flavor or reasons for the template)

That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange eons even death may die.
It is far after it ends, however eviler Kami (UBR) will still be attacking but ones that are good will not (GWU). However if I say or do something that directly contradicts a story point please let it be and just assume I am using artistic liscence.
As for Insectile unless I am forgetting something I don't think Kamigawa had any Nantuko or similar species, how hard would it be to turn the template into an Orochi kind of thing?
Insects weren't a sentient species on Kamigawa. Orochi (Snakefolk) were.
As for Bo9S, I wasn't even thinking of Ninja. I was thinking of a Samurai type build, with either Swordsage or Crusader. Of the classes, I love Crusader the most.
I might give this a shot. Kamigawa, hm? Book of Nine Swords permitted?
I have the Bo9S but I have barely looked at it, I will allow it but if there is anything that confuses me I will need you to explain it.
Additionaly it is very important that once you sign up for one campaign you do not quit, I need all 4 players for all 5 campaigns. If something higly important comes up and you need to drop tell me and we will give your character to another player.

Insects weren't a sentient species on Kamigawa. Orochi (Snakefolk) were.
Yes im aware of that however in Kamigawa everything has a Kami equivalent even insects, the idea being that my Budoka has spent a life of devotion to his art, his art being the Mantis Style (theres actually a Mantis Variant in UA but im not sure those are allowed and theres a Mantis PrC in a Dragon Magazine but i dont have it and dont think Daft would allow it :p), with such avid devotion the Kami of a Mantis blessed him thus granting him the Insectile Template

Wish I could play (ahem other campaigns I am supposed to be involved in), but my 3.5 books are in a different country, and I don't know anything about gestalt.
All you really need for a 3.5 campaign is available in the d20 SRD, which can be easily accessed here: http://www.d20srd.org
As for extra materials, feel free to ask about them.
Gestalt basically means you have two class levels per level, one on each 'side' of your gestalt. So a level 1 gestalt character has all the skills and benefits of 2 classes.
A level 1//1 fighter//rogue will have d10 HD, a Rogue's skill points, Fighter BAB, both a fighter and rogue's class skills, both classes' proficiencies and both classes' class abilities (bonus feat and sneak attack + trapfinding)

I could do four of them at the same time but I will admit that the final campaign depends on the others being completed first. Additionally I want the same four players for all five campaigns and playing four campaigns at once may be confusing.
However I suppose I could reveal the second campaign setting so as to allow characters to already be made for an easier transitions between campaigns. Once the second actually starts I can reveal the third, etc.

So with a full round action i get 30 attacks (or is it only 20? do i get the two extra attacks per hand? or only per round? if per Round thats still 20 attacks) if i run into melee i can use Dual Strike to do 6 attacks in a round with only one attack roll...not too shabby....
