Olo grabbed her shoulder. "Hold on. This area isn't real. The natural materials don't react as they should. Damek, how many living creatures can you sense?"
Olo tried to pick up any debris (rock, stick, etc.) with tk and have it interact with that line. If no debris exists he uses his mind boomerang in homing.
Olo floats about 15' from the ground ready to attack. While he waits, he throws the mind boomerang in decoy in a wide arc while ruby imbued to give him a better look at the land around them.
The sea of bodies continued to make its way through the dirt. Some of them were armed with various weapons but more of them were unarmed. The entire mass of corpses looked up at the girl in the tree and spoke with one voice.
Garrote - "My victims always obey me. Soon you will join with the ocean."
**The girl ponders the situation. Maybe he had a weapon like Olo's..? In anycase, Garrote didn't seem like the monologging type. She'd have to figure this out later.**
Arl - "Olo! Link with Damek and me, I have some ideas!"
**Arl calls forth her soulblades and begins combining them to form a longspear.**
Arl - <Okay, so my current plan is.. actually, it probably wouldn't work. I was going to suggest a way to get past the undead horde, but we don't know how much prairie we have to travel through before reaching Garrote. It might be better to conserve our energy and fight them from a single tree. Garrote might not have that fine a control over each individual undead, maybe we could eventually rotate a single person resting?>
"Very simple question. Why don't we just fly over them?" Olo asked mentally as he threw a flaming homing boomerang at a zombie. It was also homeguided.
Arl - <Can your powers carry that much weight? I mean, I can make myself lighter for a short period, but... also, what if you get tired? We don't know how far we have yet to go and I don't want to fight that army on open ground.>
Arl heads a loud chuckle in her head as Olo responds. <You know, I had never given it much thought. But now that you mention it, that might be beyond their abilities. Note to self: get group flying powers. So, I am against the idea of trying to hide in a fake tree in a realm completely under his control. He wants us to fight him. He wants to watch you, specifically for some reason, break. Our options are try to "avoid our destiny" as he would probably put it by delaying further, or "embrace the truth" that the world is his play thing or some crazy ***** like that. We might as well go walk into his horde. Besides he is totally not cool enough to kill me or my brother. Right bro?>
Nervada - <Right! I'd be all over that hoard if I wasn't tied up fighting the most - gah - badass elk I've ever seen. Are you seeing this bro? You should look at this.>
Arl - <Why should we give up the high ground? I don't.. think the trees will turn against us? Actually, that might be a reasonable concern...>
**Arl cautiously tries to step into the shadow prairie.**
