Heulen - It sounds like we'll have to bleed them a bit before we'll actually be able to take them down. That's the one thing most larger beasts have in common when it's necessary to face them in a situation like this.
Christov - "How much do they defend each other? Are we going to be dealing with the whole heard when we attack one? If that's the case we may need a plan to separate our targets first."
Thoren- Stay away from mothers and their offspring and you should be fine. Galoth herd as an intimidation tactic, they only defend each other if a good opportunity presents itself.
They were soon lead out into the snow, through a tunnel in the mountain. As they exited at the other end of the tunnel they found themselves stood next to a rack of spears and looking out across a great tundra, dotted with slowly moving dark shapes.
Before moving towards the rack of spears, Heulen started stretching and performed the exercises that made up his Bear Drills. Once he was finished, he grabbed a spear.
Christov was immediately able to spot that one of the huge beasts was limping, but couldn't see any signs of illness or age from this distance despite his talents.
Vivian swung round one of the spears rather clumsily, Waire seemed much more comfortable with his despite the discrepancy between its length and his height. Heulen good smell old blood from somewhere among the herd but couldn't yet place it.
The toothy grin on Heulen's face quickly became far more unpleasant as he activated the powers of his boots and pauldrons. He grabbed another spear for his empty hand and raced forward towards the herd, his nose guiding him.
The group soon found themselves coming up on the rear of a galoth with slightly faded fur and prominent wound on its right flank. A spear went flying over their heads and into the creatures rump as Waire made a yipping noise.
A spear was launched from Heulen's hand flying fast and true towards the wound. The Beast-man's transformed legs carried him ever closer to the galoth.

The beast stumbled as the second spear tug into its already injured flank, turning towards the group. Waire was already running round behind the creature's rear while Vivian stood holding his spear out.
Stumbling turned to falling as the galoth lost control of its leg, dropping to two knees. It lashed out towards the group with its trunk, narrowly missing a tailor who dropped flat on the snowy ground.
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.
Go ahead and run, you'll only die tired.
Those who might never meet are pooled together

Come on and check it out. You know you want to.
Thoren- Is there anything else you need before we head out to the tundra?
Vivian- Do you any spare spears?
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.

Thoren- Anything big enough to ride spooks them, and makes a good target.
Heulen followed Thoren.

Vivian- I guess we should get to it then.
