**The sky is clear, the birds are singing, the waiter remembered to bathe today... ah, love is in the air. The massive tent offers shade should the patrons want it, although most of the wedding guests are currently amusing themselves at the buffet. Was the buffet supposed to come before the marriage vows? Eh, who cares. Not the host and hostess! They're much too busy being nervous.**

A kindir, dressed in emerald finery which he had liberated from the Bard's guildhouse over a fortnight previously, made his way to the spread of food laid out on a smattering of tables. After almost being bold enough to try what appeared to be a stuffed fig, Ulrich opted for the roasted wings of small birds.
Guest - "I've heard those things are delicious. But hearing is no substitute for trying, I suppose. "
**A hand smoothly darts out to pluck one of the wings from the assortment. The owner is a fairly tall - though shorter than Ulrich - woman garbed in a grey-purple dress clearly designed to be as practical as it is fancy. A few lines of dark amber scales pleasantly mix with the fleshy parts of her face, giving the impression the woman is part reptile. She flashes the bard a predatory smile.**
The errant seemed unconcerned by the woman's reptilian appearance, though that might have had something to do with the fact his hand still rested at his hip, inches from his blade. He nodded thoughtfully at the woman's comment.
Ulrich- Indeed. One should trust their own senses and instincts.
**Another guest works his way around the duo to snatch a wing, causing Dee to subtly move to the side to avoid being brushed. She's all ears for Ulrich. however.**
As Dee moved to allow the man access to the appetizers, a large muscular arm reached over all three of the guests gathered near the appetizers and plucked a pair of the wings.
Laghairt - So you're wondering about the groom, Miss?
Dee - "Really?! That sounds like quite the tale. I -"
**She suddenly turns, just a bit mind you, when the towering newcomer tosses his hat into the conversational ring. She looks somewhat disappointed at the interruption... but her eyes light up a bit when he mentions the groom.**
Laghairt - No Miss, I'm Laghairt. I do happen to be be one of Olus's best friends and a friend to the groom. We all met during Dr. Smalls's previous expedition.
A large lizard appeared on Laghairt's shoulder and snatched away one of the two wings the Ogofta held up to him.
Gigan - Hiss.
Laghairt - Sorry about him. Gigan has little taste for table manners.
Dee - "Oh, too many to count. I think setting the truth straight would be the easier prospect. You wouldn't believe what some people claim was asked and what was seen."
Laghairt - Well mostly we all asked for information that would lead to us bettering ourselves in our lives. Though a few chose to ask for something more personal. I asked the book about the origins of the Ogoftas' connection to our Totem Animals.
There was a booming laughter across the courtyard as Olus approached the party, though what he was laughing at was a mystery. The big man approach a small group of people that seemed to be having a spirited conversation about something... The fact that they were next to the wine table didn't hurt either.
Dee - "You haven't? I'd give you a summary but Laghairt is the one who lived through it. *Turns to the Ogofta* I'm particularly interested in your escape from the dead city."
Laghairt felt as though Dee were looking to hear more than just an interesting retelling of his group's narrow escape from the Dead City.
Laghairt - Well it had much to do with the groups ability to move fast, think quick, and hit hard. But I'd say the most important piece to our survival, let alone our triumph, was Esyllt.
At the mention of the Dryad's name, Gigan let out a friendly hiss.

**Olus comes across two older women, an older man, and a little boy**
Boy - "I'm telling the truth! I saw a monster!"
Man - "Well, he isn't there now even if he was there before."
Boy - "He is!"
Woman with a fancy hat - "How do you know the monster is a guy?"
Woman with an exasperated look - "Please don't. I get enough of this when he wants to keep a light on at night becau-"
Boy - "That's a secret mom! Don't tell anyone!"
**The boy quickly looks around to make sure, once again, that none of the other little kids are nearby.**
