Leretta- I use an item you provide to deepen the link between you and your dreams. This tends to make them more vivid, more fantastic and crucially, it makes whatever lessons you learn from them persist in your waking state.
Leretta- World-sundering swords never quite compare to a mother's necklace or a lover's last letter. There's more power in those connections than the most complex enchantments.
Leretta slumped down in a chair opposite her. Well, slumped wasn't really the word. For all the speed and carelessness of it, it was still more of a glide.
Leretta- You have something you're not sure you're ready to part with.
**Clearly still incensed, Kincaid dropped 50 gold on the table and then plunked down a very old, bent trade marker that was still stained with a bit of brown. She folded her arms, making a big show of her apathy.**
When he came in he saw the mistress of the place lighting another stick of incense, squeezing the tip of the thing between her fingers to reduce the flame to a smolder. The room was starting to fill with an earthy, cherry scent.
Heulen mulled it over for a while. Although he liked his mind to be left alone, he felt as though the woman wasn't intent on causing him duress. Maybe it was atmosphere of the tent or maybe it was something else more personal to Heulen but, whatever it was, the young man found himself handing over his last 50 gold. Then he took the Locket he kept with his parents' pictures and held it out to the woman. He took one last look at them before really letting it go.
Heulen - Well then, I've not had a good dream in a while. Let's see if this helps.
**The witness smirked a bit, fiddling with a pillow tassel.**
Kincaid - "Well I don't have anything like that, so I suppose that's that then."
Leretta- You have something you're not sure you're ready to part with.
Kincaid - "Don't tell me my motivations."
Leretta- I don't mean to push. Nobody should give up something they aren't ready to.
**She was not expecting that.**
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.
Leretta- Welcome.
Heulen - Ah, those incense are quite nice. Are you a merchant of them?
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.
Heulen grabbed a seat as he spoke.
Come on and check it out. You know you want to.
Heulen - Well then, I've not had a good dream in a while. Let's see if this helps.
