"How much you want to be that the inquisitorium is where we'll find our friend?" Reed smirks and shakes his head at the cultist's desperate plan, in the dark corridor of the secret passage as he tries to get some sleep.
there used ta be magic here, but it's sleeping now. nobody's prayed here in a long time. der's some magic potions in the offrings.
@Lucial--You could hit-and-run them, attacking, disengaging, moving back, ad nauseum, but it will take a long time to whittle them down like that. As you move down the corridor away from the opening, you can see them slowly start walking back towards the sarcophagi.
I'm not sure if it would matter to Ger'Cath's readings, but I prayed to Arawan at the altar, thanking him and hoping that he would understand my taking of some coin in #690.
To Reed: "Now all we need to do is work out where the Inquisitorium is and hope that this is the correct key for the door."
I then move over to the alter and start meditating in front of it then after a while move off to ensure the door is closed and can still be opened from this side.
Then try to find a quiet dark corner to rest in hoping for pleasant dreams.

@Paravrax--there are three potions on the altar: two potions of healing and a potion of climbing. There is nothing else of note on the dead cultists. @Lucial--the closest room is Room 23. The room is filled with intricately carved stone sarcophagi. These are significantly more ornate than the ones in room 24. The southwest corned of the room is heavily damaged--the same chasm that cuts through room 22 continues through this room as well. There are four doors in this room--two iron doors that lead to room 24, and two wooden doors that lead into the corridor (you just opened one of these wooden doors). As you enter the room, you see eight more zombies. None of them have noticed you yet. Make a Perception roll.
Also, with regards to the zombies in room 24, you could strike the one closest to the entrance, run away before it could strike back, and repeat ad naseum, slowly killing the entire horde. It would take about the same amount of time as the long rest the remainder of the party is about to take.
I assume everyone is sleeping. If not, let me know.
You rest for eight hours. In the dark of the hidden shrine, it's impossible to tell what time it actually is outside. When everyone is awake and refreshed, you realize two things.
1. No one has seen Lucial since he wandered off.
2. Ger'cath has spent the entire evening trying to pull the temple map Paravrax found out of his pack. While he's only managed to get it about three-quarters of the way out of the pack, he looks adorable doing it. He's also starting to wind down, so someone may want to give his tail a spin.
Has 'Luan' done his actions and we just don't know, or should we wait for him to finish up his actions?
Reed wakes up and stretches. He checks that his ring is still glowing brightly, and that all his daggers are in place. Making sure his companions are up, he opens the door to the secret passage to see what awaits them.

Paravrax wakes up and sees Ger'Cath tugging on the map. He leans over and pats him on the head. He gives Ger'Cath's tail a little wind to recharge him, and then asks:
"Hey little buddy, what are you up to? Is there somewhere specific on the map that you want to go to? I'm happy to help you with whatever you need to do."
He then scoops up Ger'Cath and pulls out the map.
How does this map match up with the actual map? Is it just the white portion of the map, sans the giant hole in room 22, or does it also have the (presumably) underground section?
Indeed, Lucial sees nothing of interest except another horde of zombies, none of whom seems to have noticed him.
Meanwhile, approximately eight hours in the future, everyone else who isn't being held prisoner or wandering amongst the crypts wakes up in the Shrine of Arawan, fully rested and raring to go.
i'm tryin to get da map to mister reed or miss emeryn. it's magic, but its der kind of magic. you gots to be touched by the gods to see all da magic.
I'll upload the map as drawn on the scroll when I get home this evening. Short version is it shows all the white areas, but not the gray underground areas, and there's no indication of the chasm in 22/23.
Paravrax happily hands the map over to Reed, hoping to gain insight into what Ger'Cath was hinting at, then leans into him to whisper to him:
"Reed, keep in mind that thissss map was drawn hundreds of years ago, so we must take whatever you find with a grain of sssalt. That being said, hopefully whatever you're able to disssscern will help us track down our missing companion, combat the cult, or both."
You see a few extra marks on the map that are invisible to anyone who isn't a divine caster. (So only clerics and paladins can see these marks.) The marks only appear once a divine caster touches the map, and if they put the map down the marks will fade within seconds. You see several gold stars on the map--one in room 1, one in room 8, one in the corridor leading to room 20, one in room 23, and one in room 24, and one in room 26.
"Ger'Cath, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Friends, I think it's time to move. The first order of business is to track down Luan. I suggest we try this other branch that he seemed eager to explore before we lost him, yesterday."
And to conduct a close examination of a few select rooms.
Reed heads out into Room 1.
Assuming everyone is following me and we don't run into enemies, I head from 1, down to 3, then east towards 26.
"Before we get going, Reed, care to share what additional details were hidden from the view of those of us with less...divine inclinations? Ger'Cath seemed particularly concerned about getting it into the hands of one of you two, and I don't want to be caught off guard. Also, I'd like to hold onto the map if you don't mind."
Reed hands back the map, having already memorized the details.
"Just a few markings in rooms. I believe they lead to secret passages, as there was one that might correspond to this location. For all I know, they could mark traps, however, so allow me to examine the rooms closely before we enter."

Musing on Ger'Cath's response, Paravrax decides to use Mage Hand to pick the potions up off the altar and into his bag.
He then tries to verify what type of potions they are. Arcana(?):

Just for good measure, he asks Ger'Cath to scan for anything magical in the area of the cultists' bodies.
WELL, MAYBE GER'CATH WILL FIND THIS BELT
He then retreats back to the safety of the hidden passage.
