Can we take a minute and discuss if final fortune and isochron scepter really combos like people seem to think it does?

But I have two counterspells. How is Heinsun getting past two counterspells? It costs 8UUUU just to Capsize once with counter backup. I have 2UU + two Islands in hand long before that ever happens.

that link says it works with platinum angel. in this case, the emblem works as a platinum angel.
it definitely wouldnt work without that.
What about it wouldn't work? The only reason people don't abuse the combo is because of the 'lose the game' clause that typically limits there number of extra turns to one
I imagine he just had the same brainfart I did the first time I saw the deck - forgetting to view the deck in concert with the format rule and just considering the deck in isolation.
I think he was just missing that the round rules that made you unable to lose the game (even by suicide) until your opponent pays the 50.
In Short: Final Fortune creates the extra turn, and a delayed trigger. At the end of that extra turn, the delayed trigger triggers, and you lose the game.. except there's an effect on your opponent's emblem that keeps you from losing, so you don't. Rinse, Repeat. Now.. if your opponent can pay the 50, the combo becomes a bombo and doesn't work anymore; you'll lose the game.
