If bateleur leads with either Figure or Student into Anvil, then Affliction followed by Tabernacle outraces Figure.
If bateleur leads with Student, the Ooze blocks forever while Tabernacle drains bateleurs life.
With cruelshy starting, Figure is a bit too slow. It can't block Ooze once Ooze becomes a 4/4, and cruelshy wins on 3 life in a race (see below).
1-5: 0-6: Recoil/Remembrance loops.
1-9: 0-6: Stack.
1-12: 6-0: Ooze isn't fast enough.
5-9: 3-3: This depends on whether Stack can hold Personman at less than three lands.
5-12: 2-2: See spoiler.
8-12: 3-3: Auger discards Affliction and Tabernacle or cruelshy outraces Rift.
9-12: 4-1: See spoiler.
On the play, Personman ends with two more life in either scenario (one attack from Ooze), which still leaves him unable to cast Reactor in the second scenario.
An achievement for any XCB, but particularly hard in the modern era - I think the average standard has risen quite a bit.
(Can we ban the broken Eldrazi yet? ;))
