Reading too much of this thread at once makes my brain shut down. But at least I got this from reviewing WG:
Sepi is likely town. WG was after Sepi from a very early point, including multiple attacks. Bussing with a vote is one thing - doing actual damage in an HP-based game is another.
Megs is likely scum. WG's interactions with Megs are too playful; see the series of posts starting with #465, for example.
@pizza: completely unrelated but i wonder how you would have felt about my old playstyle.
And its pretty clear you have it in your mind that i need to resolve so ill tell you right now that you should start prepping your rereads with the basis that i am town (no im not telling you to stop questioning, just to also do a set of notes of your thoughts with the soon to be validation that i am town)
Still too early in the game for even a strong scum lean to be held with much certainty. I can say that there's a scum between you and hunger, or I suck at reading the situation. Put Huntzilla on the shelf and attack Vezok.
If I'm Garland, which I am not, I play it as a pro-town role. The scum team is the largest threat to Garland unless Garland becomes the single top suspect village has. The scum team will also act as a voting bloc in endgame where it makes little difference who is Garland as long as someone dies.
So Garland has to work with village and hope the scums pick off the village.
In endgame all bets are off if the scum team is down to 1 strong scumbag left or a couple of weakened ones, where Garland has a chance if he works with them, but until more scums die, Garland is part of the village from my perspective.
@Pizza:
I've bussed hard on Day 1 before and know the consequences/rewards of doing so. For someone of your experience to write of Cantrip as Town because of those interactions not right. It's much easier for Scum to communicate with one another than with the Town.
I have a different philosophy on the game that is based on a very different set of cultural expectations. It's not good to assume that my experience means I'm going to agree with the perspective of another experienced person from a different forum. Or even from the same forum.
The consequences are such that cantrip doesn't survive this game and he also removes Wheat from play by getting people to agree Wheat is scum and needs to die.
The short term, or even mid-term seeing as night kills are slow to come, is townie points.
There is zero explanation for cantripmancer being alive at final seven. As scum you always have to be mindful of your endgame survivability. I feel like I'm repeating myself on this point.
The idea that he still can be scum is not impossible, but that isn't exactly what I would call a case. And it wouldn't be my top agenda item even if it were.
You can't sell me on an idea by saying it's still possible for him to be scum. Yeah, but it's a really dumb move if he is.
@Pizza:
I get your reasoning for Garland and I agree, my point was that Huntz is calling you scum in my mind you cannot be scum because of the reasons i stated before, I cannot auto clear you as town because of Garland being around tho.
I just realized something. Huntzilla is 100% not scum. Absolutely no chance in hell.
He has two abilities.
Power reduction and power buff.
If Huntzilla was scum he would have just lied about his abilities and given nothing but buffs to his teammates.
I find this post hilariously bad because it assumes a couple of things:
1. That there is no role whatsoever that could potentially have caught huntz on a lie if he ever claimed
2. That powerup use on a scum buddy to be the only optimal use to a buff power (because clearly lowering the power of others to make it harder to get a flip is clearly impossible from a scum mindset)
3. That an elaborate claim on powers cannot be a scum tactic (well its not Wheat level bat***** crazy but it still requires a lot of balls, plus he claimed two abilities following Wheat's double ability claim and people coming forward to talk about how they had more than 1 ability in play).

I'm having weird mixed feelings of guilt and happiness regarding the revival. It's like the mistakes of my past have come back to haunt me...but also to give me cupcakes.
Three questions:
Why was Business's post edited by Iso?
Is anyone going to claim responsibility for the rez?
Is today the day we mass claim? As I said before, I don't think it will help us catch scum, but I really do think that our abilities are probably of high enough power level now that cooperating will bring more good from a claim than bad. So I suppose I mostly support a claim of abilities and care less about other stats. I think it was Pizza and maybe someone else who supported the idea of really good town roles making themselves out to be less exciting than they are, and I support that as well so long as discretion is used and the ability is still similar so we don't start relying on people to do something they can't.
I took a pretty noticeable hit overnight. I really think that we should mass claim before people start attacking without direction.
My current (conspiracy) theory is that Garland has upgraded an ability to be able to revive and recruit dead players. I don't know if that fits into the flavor of Garland because I have zero knowledge of final fantasy games, but I think that it makes sense in the respect of giving one neutral player a fighting chance against a game this size. Besides, I don't know what townie would choose to revive ISO over DC, when ISO had mostly been playing for himself and DC had been trying to offer a lot of strong analysis. The only real reason that I could see to support revving ISO is his crazy high attack, but that's not necessarily helpful to the town if it's mistakenly used against townies. However, Garland would have lots of use foR firepower, making ISO a priority to recruit.

"I'm a compulsive liar no matter what team I play on, but I'm trying to get better about it."
I checked with Seppel if Iso not having his alignment anymore in the OP meant he wasn't confirmed town, and Seppel answered that he can't reveal anything until Iso dies again.
Which might indeed mean that Iso is not town now... But to tie him to Garland seems a stretch?
@Hans: there is a flaw in your logic: DCIII and his beasts could do a lot of damage. Damage is not a good reason to pick Iso over DCIII.
I'm not a fan of massclaiming. My health went to critical, and Sir Chris claimed the same thing earlier. Which means scum has big damage output at Night. If we massclaim, we tell them where our big damage is, which might tip the game in their favor.
Hmmm... I see your point regarding DC's monsters. Maybe it's because Iso is just the better choice to deal lots of damage as quickly as possible? As far as I can tell with DC's ability, he generates the monsters over night, but we don't know how high their attack is or if the monsters themselves have any abilities. In other words, DC is capable of putting out a lot of damage, but it would take some time to gain momentum. Iso, on the other hand, can immediately do massive amounts of damage during each day and night. I can't think of any other explanation.
And I know there isn't any concrete evidence to link the revive to Garland, but I feel that revives would give the mafia too much of an advantage, and I don't know why town would pick Iso from the choices available. Ergo, I think it is fair to assume that Garland is responsible.

"I'm a compulsive liar no matter what team I play on, but I'm trying to get better about it."
Why wouldnt someone pick Iso? Other than the fact that he basically gave up on the game because he was being lynched? He was easily the one providing the most content around here.
Also, the timing of this going to day is perfect because I am about to head out, but I have a couple questions before I run away and play some other games.
Who has claimed what right now?
Was it ever explained why KA had 2 attacks? And if so, what happened last night that all of a sudden, only a single attack today?
IMAB, what is your speed stat sitting it?
Is there anyone that just wants to say they are scum and make my life easier?
Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?
Who remembers me?
I have a basic scum list right now, but I am going to wait until I get a couple of answers to those questions before. One of them is a question I really do need an answer to, 2 of them would be nice to have answers to, and the rest are just questions to make you giggle.
W may only be paid with white mana. U may only be paid with blue mana. B may only be paid with black mana. R may only be paid with red mana. G may only be paid with green mana. C may only be paid with colorless mana. 1 may be paid with white, blue, black, red, green, or clolorless mana.
Iso's town. Seppel wouldn't put a scum revive ability after the horribleness that went on in Legend of Aang mafia and Garland's wincon is "be the last player alive". hans is just engaging in useless speculation.

Hansanator, you say you took a noticeable hit overnight.
I don't think you were being universally town-read, and I don't remember you claiming anything, but it's a big thread.
Who did you say were your top scums / top villagers? It may be relevant, it may not be. I don't read a lot into the choices that are made at night by the scums but I think you being attacked is a really odd move by the scum team.
If a villager did the attack it would make more sense.
I asked a bunch of questions, and I get one answer (and while you remember me Sep, and that is cool, it wasnt one of the questions I was hoping to have answered).
So I guess I need to be more blunt about it:
Who has claimed what right now?
Was it ever explained why KA had 2 attacks? And if so, what happened last night that all of a sudden, only a single attack today?
IMAB, what is your speed stat sitting it?
W may only be paid with white mana. U may only be paid with blue mana. B may only be paid with black mana. R may only be paid with red mana. G may only be paid with green mana. C may only be paid with colorless mana. 1 may be paid with white, blue, black, red, green, or clolorless mana.
@jskura: Proph claimed poison ability and using it on Hans.
Someone claimed time mage but don't remember who.
Iso is fighter, as is Hans and someone else that I don't remember. Pizza I think?
And then there's more claims that I don't remember.
I also don't remember if KA's double attack was explained somewhere.
Iirc, Chris, Megs, Hans and me claimed to have been damaged during Night(s)
This game has way too many posts and people to remember stuff
W may only be paid with white mana. U may only be paid with blue mana. B may only be paid with black mana. R may only be paid with red mana. G may only be paid with green mana. C may only be paid with colorless mana. 1 may be paid with white, blue, black, red, green, or clolorless mana.
This was obvious and I don't get why Hans didn't realize that himself.
This is the sort of game where it's obvious if you're paying attention and remembering things, but there's just too much going on for even obvious things to actually be widely understood.
This is what we need just to keep track of all the obvious data.
W may only be paid with white mana. U may only be paid with blue mana. B may only be paid with black mana. R may only be paid with red mana. G may only be paid with green mana. C may only be paid with colorless mana. 1 may be paid with white, blue, black, red, green, or clolorless mana.
Hey Pizza! You will have someone around to break up your posts at night now when I am not at work. Congrats!
Question for ya. How do you feel about 2042?
Now, I am ready for war. This anti-spam stuff was killing my mojo.
Let me take a look.
Keep in mind all, Champs Finale starts tomorrow so I'm doing prep work and then hopefully not dying like immediately in that game. I won't be AWOL but my level of participation will drop. It will go back up the moment I die, or when I have a moment.
If there's anything more specific you want a comment on, I'm game, but from a cursory glance I have this:
1) Proph has a set of shiny unobtainium balls on him for telling everyone to attack him if he's scum. Unless there's some kind of special ability that draws attacks and negates them, and even then, I don't see why it would be used then and it would be purely speculative regardless. He's also not done it since, and I have a pretty good lock on his villageriness. Tone is important but I also have other reasons to think he's a villager.
2) His list of suspects looks okay except for Relm and Cantrip, those folks both strongly read villager to me in my analysis of them.
3) His list of no opinions doesn't match mine, all of the names in black were my top villagers.
4) He needs to re-evaluate his blue list. I agree with most of it but there's at least one name there that should not be solid blue, unless he knows something I do not about Vezok. In which case I'd be willing to let it alone.
I think that's a generally good list though, there's a lot of solid townies that are also reading solid in his opinion. I'm not firing any attacks at any of his black, any greens, and only one blue I'd feel comfortable hitting.
1: Hasnt a couple people chimed in that they might as well just attack them and kill them because of the game dragging?
2: Cantrip isnt here anymore I dont think (well, I know he isnt here anymore, I replaced him), interestingly enough, Relm is actually sitting opposite of what you have him in my book right now
2 side questions.
This is probably just going to be me being super picky, but why when you make lists, do you make blue people people that you want to see dead?
If for some reason Proph dies and flips scum, based on 2042, who do you feel is the top choice for a buddy?
W may only be paid with white mana. U may only be paid with blue mana. B may only be paid with black mana. R may only be paid with red mana. G may only be paid with green mana. C may only be paid with colorless mana. 1 may be paid with white, blue, black, red, green, or clolorless mana.
I made a drunken post as you can see. Then I deleted the drunken post. ISO proceeded to restore my deletion.
Hans is probably scum. I'm a fighter, Iso was a fighter. I believe scum has at least one fighter and that means it's Hans.

Why must the scum team have a fighter, or multiple fighters for that matter?
They don't even do an especially large amount of damage, and you'd think that would be their one worthwhile saving grace.
I expect the scum team to be decked out, time mage, black mage, and whatever the "fiend" class is that only they get to have.
I expect the scum team to claim to be a fighter or something more innocuous but they have to be better armed than to have a couple of fighters on their roster.

Maybe the balancing on this site is really unusual, but I don't know what the scums could possibly have that matches such a power.

I thought I was probably the worst fighter in the game. Attacks weren't doing much in terms of damage and the Fighter class sucks for abilites.
Multi-classing from Fighter is a good idea, multi-classing into Fighter is not so much.
I would expect a fighter is the closest thing to vanilla this game has.
I still definitely need an answer from IAMB about his speed

1: Hasnt a couple people chimed in that they might as well just attack them and kill them because of the game dragging?
2: Cantrip isnt here anymore I dont think (well, I know he isnt here anymore, I replaced him), interestingly enough, Relm is actually sitting opposite of what you have him in my book right now
2 side questions.
This is probably just going to be me being super picky, but why when you make lists, do you make blue people people that you want to see dead?
If for some reason Proph dies and flips scum, based on 2042, who do you feel is the top choice for a buddy?
Why must the scum team have a fighter, or multiple fighters for that matter?
They don't even do an especially large amount of damage, and you'd think that would be their one worthwhile saving grace.
I expect the scum team to be decked out, time mage, black mage, and whatever the "fiend" class is that only they get to have.
I expect the scum team to claim to be a fighter or something more innocuous but they have to be better armed than to have a couple of fighters on their roster.
