We have jumped on Plowshares for his omnipotent view of me as town, stating he is doing that because he "knows" I am town,
why aren't we doing that for Azrael too? I have to agree with Rhand's previous assessment, where he states it feels like Az is telling us he "knows" AE is town. Then after coming so close to being lynched, Az continues his love affair with AE, defending every post as town and unflinchingly calling him a townie. I don't like it, but if this mirrors Plowshares omnipotent view, which I believe it does, then that makes AE town. But Az, unfortunately, I am back on being scum.
I'm back. Hanging Az is a mistake. Please don't do this guys. Az will give us pages and pages of solid content and he is the best town analyst I've ever gamed with. I'm convinced he's town.

Your entire case is that I didn't pay enough attention to you, when the post you made (claiming) was as meaningful a response as I gave you on this page. I don't give a ***** what your role is when I know you don't know what it is and that there is nowhere near enough flavor for it to mean anything. What do you possibly think you were accomplishing by claiming then? Oh, that's right. You wanted everyone to think you are town and now you are pissed people don't care.
You made a scummy post, used you role to justify it, and now are sitting back and calling me scum for not fellating you. I have no idea what you think I'm supposed to respond to.
Claiming Village Leader is pretty ballsy to just make up. I'm absolutely sure that someone has to be the "leader" and that if he made it up, he'd be counterclaimed on it in an instant.
That said, nothing about being the "leader" is auto-town from a flavor standpoint. Power corrupts, and all that.

@Dechs: I completely believe he is village leader. There's no doubt about it.
Maybe this is a better (and more accurate) way to put it. I feel like I have just been talking to Seppel circa 2008, when my side of the conversation just didn't matter and your personality just hammered against me uncomfortably. Like you are Larry King and I'm just some schlub that made the news on your show.

Guys look. Lynching AZ now(D1) is not a good idea. If he is town and gets lynched that's something that would hurt the town. Can we still win? Sure, but why waste a great (mind block, can't think of the word) at our disposal? If AZ is town the mafia will handle him at night(something to look at here, this wagon). If he's still alive by day three I'd say lynch him regardless of how many scum are left. Utilize him by a town/scum list which if he flips town we can work off of.
Seppel knows better than trying to get AZ lynched. Doesn't speak highly of Seppel being town.
If you guys are flip flopping between me and AZ lynch me. I'd rather see that happen than lynching a potential town AZ.
In fact, only you have tried to claim my role isn't auto town. My biggest detractor for toDay, seppel, understood immediately and claimed straight after. Hence why I dropped my attacking him.
What does Seppel claiming have to do with anything? He was the one pushing for a mass claim right out of the gate.

Fair point to raise, and the discrepancy essentially boils down to meta. It's very uncommon for most people to be as certain of a read as I am, and even when I express that sort of certainty in a read, it's based upon a lot of past pattern recognition, grounded in specifics I can explain, and is still subject to being reevaluated on the fly at an instant's notice.
When plowshares exhibits the same sort of certainty without seeming to have the same foundation for it, that raises questions, especially when it's combined with a nexus of several other potential scum tells.
Also, not sharing reads? I have suspected dechs, you, AE, seppel, and now emo. I have repeatedly expressed Huntzilla as low hanging fruit and clearly have not been suspicious of him after I gave him the town cookie. Gave kami it too, so where aren't i giving reads?
Meanwhile I point out you have done nothing with the time you requested and suddenly you are fading the whole game?

First off, the so-called u-turn was addressed as part of the PBPA.
Actually, no, I don't think it's particularly coincidental that I've been asking for more time, have noticed people getting testy, and then made time out of my schedule to stay up from 1:30 A.M. to past 3:00 A.M. to get in the analysis that people were wanting from me. It's pretty direct and obvious correlation, actually.
Lastly, I think in the last several pages you've broadened your suspicions to include a number of other persons. However, my review was confined to the end of page 9.
But if we're throwing the last several pages into the account as well, I absolutely hate the way you're trying to bury Emo for doing nothing at all that's actually scummy.
I also despise that you supported (or originated, I can't recall which) plowshare's bid to set up an AE/Azrael dichotomy. Those types of completely groundless assertions, if you can get gullible townies to buy into them, are one of the scum's favorite ways to chain multiple thoughtless mislynches together in a row. Take down one, then convince people the next logical step is to take the other down behind him. Awful stuff. Anti-town for sure, and I don't see any reason to give you the benefit of the doubt and say either you or Plowshares are mistaken town who really think they have a solid basis for that assertion.
My apologies for the way delayed daily vote count - I was judging a PTQ/PPTQ double-header all day. Starting tomorrow, vote count timing should be back to normal.
I was going to reread Plowshares today but I guess there's no point now lol.
If he flips scum, we need to look into Az/Emo toMorrow. The way he tied them together is iffy and might mean he wants a mislynch on one of them after the other flips scum.
KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
We haven't said much to eachother Rhand, are you happy with how my play has been? You are one of the veteran interacters with Generic... You know is always about me.

"[Screw] you and the green you ramped in on." - My EDH battle cry. If I had one. Which I don't.
If he's town, I empathize with him. He is probably feeling defeated and like no one's listening to him. It's tough to feel enough interest in the game at that point to put more effort into it. It takes a calm and logical mindset to step back and realize that he's still in the game as long as this Twilight goes on. He has the chance to analyze his own wagon from the unique perspective of being absolutely sure of his alignment. If he actually is town as he professes, then he needs to help us (and himself) win the game right now. Lynched or alive, Town wins as a team.
Obviously, I don't believe he's town. I voted for him. I'm just not arrogant enough to think I can't be wrong.

Accusations had been thrown back and forth over the course of the Day. The villagers were clearly scared, some praying to Korial for deliverance while others cursed him for the predicament they were in. But there was no deliverance to be had today. Tamiyo watched as the arguments turned to Plowshares, turned away from him, and then circled back around. Finally, one of the villagers, fed up with the discussion, throws Plowshares to the ground.
"This has to be your fault! How could you do this to your village?!"
"I haven't done anything, but I see that nothing I say will sway you."
"You're right. Your lies won't change anything. You've been a part of this village far longer than any of us. You should have known better."
The other villagers, thrown into a frenzy by the tussle, gathered around Plowshares, bound him to a pole.
Looking up to the sky, Plowshares muttered to himself. "It's been a long time since I've seen my family. I'll just be reunited with them sooner than I thought."
The villagers gathered tinder underneath Plowshares and set it alight.
As Tamiyo turned away from the acrid smell of burning flesh, she had to wonder how far this would go. What force was strong enough to tear a village apart from within?
Plowshares has been lynched. He was:
Olam, wizened village elder, Town Deathvoter Deathvote - When you die, choose a living player. That player will gain an additional vote on the following Day.
You remember when times were different. All these young whippersnappers with their newfangled gods. While you feel aloof in these changing times, with age comes wisdom, so despite your differences in beliefs, the town will still turn to you for your opinion when the leaders cannot lead.
It is now Night 1. No more posting. Death actions and Night actions are due by 1:00 PM EST on Thursday, February 5th.
As Day broke over the village, Tamiyo noticed that only 9 members of the village were present. Quickly searching through the hovels, she discovered two bodies, those of Dechs Kaison and Generic. If she was going to help this village survive this tribulation, she had her work cut out for her.
Dechs Kaison has been killed. He was:
Tiktam, village fisherman, Town Vigilante Persuasion - You have been granted an extra vote for the duration of Day 2. Fisherman's Vengeance - When you die, choose a living player. That player will be killed.
Fishing isn't the most glorious job, but it was a job that you inherited from your father. You get to spend most of your day by the river, so you've gained a sense of serenity usually only found by the shamans, and this is bolstered by the knowledge that your role is integral to the village's survival. Sure, you smell like gutted fish most of the time, but you know what others don't - that you're one of the most important members of the village.
That being said, you've noticed that you're not the only one smelling fishy these days. Something is wrong in the village, and as an integral member of it, you will have to help get to the bottom of it.
Generic has been killed. He was:
Rotham, village leader, Town Innocent Child Innocent Soul - When you die, your alignment will be confirmed by the moderator.
You're the town's leader, which means that you bear the responsibility of everyone's well-being. As an adolescent, you were quick to rise up as a hunting party leader, and in your maturity, the elders identified you as the next leader. In these changing times, a strong, singular voice is the best way to ensure that your people survive.
With 9 alive, it is 5 to lynch. This Day will end no later than February 19th at 1:00 PM EST.
So, was Generic Dechs's vig target? Does Dech have a vote toDay? I'm super confused by this.
I need to look over this Plowshares wagon closely. The whole thing started -and- completed over the weekend while I wasn't paying attention, and that's very, very unusual.
