@Rhand - If you aren't interested in the Citric case because I'm the one driving it, then why haven't you pushed me at all Today... or why don't you look at the case I made on him? That's the same thing you said about the Hawk wagon Yesterday, that he was the last person you wanted to lynch because I was the one driving it but you didn't go back and look at a major part of the case. You're discrediting the wagons I'm driving because I'm driving them - which would lend to believe you have a pretty strong scum read on me that you aren't doing anything with. If I'm not alive Tomorrow - look at Rhand's #1251... and just look at Rhand in general.
------
@Emo - re: #1250.
I'm not saying why you have to prove that someone is scummier than every other player to prove that they're scum. When you were saying why you were voting him, you said that he added nothing new to the Kami wagon when he did. So that's why I brought up the others... and I feel like you're turning the point into something else completely saying that you have to prove why everyone else is Town. One of the main reasons that you said Hunger was scum initially was because you thought he added nothing new to the wagon so, even if that was true from your perspective, you didn't take issues with anyone else doing the same thing or pry into that any further. If you legit thought that his adding nothing new to the wagon was scummy, even if you thought Hunger was most likely scum for other things he was doing, why would you ignore everyone else who was doing the behavior that you thought was scummy? And then when I called you out on it you did dodge it, by calling it stupid... you still didn't answer. Calling it stupid and saying you won't answer or just ignoring it accomplish the same thing, you avoid the question. To your last point - the actual question I was getting at wasn't "why would Hunger, as scum, have so much to say?" it was, "why do you think that adding nothing to a wagon (your interpretation of what he was doing, on which we disagree) is scummy but you aren't looking into anyone else who was contributing less?" There are more scum to catch than just one, so even if you thought that your read on Hunger was right, it doesn't make any sense that you wouldn't have concern about at least some of the others if you think that's scummy behavior - or that you'd push back on me for asking you to give your thoughts on them.
Who else are you scum reading other than Hunger and why?
To your point about how is what Hunger said to Bur relevant - context. The full nested quote is Kami being concerned about helping scum find their PRs and Hunger is saying that scum are usually more worried about town PRs than vice versa, which he was clearly talking about what Kami was doing. I feel like you should get how what he's saying there is relevant to suspicion around Kami but you're acting like because he said it to Bur it had no relevance on anything and didn't deserve to be referenced in his reasoning for suspecting Kami when you cased him. The way that you presented the case made it look like the first he concerned himself with Kami at all was a naked vote.
Why would either Town or Scum go against a majority decision? Scum usually don't because they don't want to stand out. Town do all the time if they don't agree that it's a plan that will help Town. This happens pretty regularly that you have vocal townies bucking against a majority plan because they think it will help scum. I don't believe that you wouldn't know this or be considering this.
Yes, I know what an original thought is. I know that in your case you made it look like Hunger was proactively defending himself by saying that he was a cop or a doc when he said that in direct response to ika asking him what he thought his role was. You presented it like he was being cased and said, "hey guys, don't lynch me, I might be a cop or a doc." Why am I defending Hunger? Because I think your case is predatory, because I don't like several of the players driving his wagon, because the players driving his wagon are the same players who drove the Kami wagon, and because I think he's probably Town.
The other thing is that you said, "I want everyone to notice how much DCIII and Hunger are overselling Hunger's scum hunting Day 1" - and now you're asking why I'd think any other way than that you thought I was wrong? There's no way that you intended it that way. You grouped me with him in the same breath. The use of "overselling" implies an agenda - if you were saying I was town that's wrong, you wouldn't say I was "selling" anything. Wanting everyone to notice is trying to draw attention to what we're doing (it doesn't make sense to say "I want everyone to notice that DCIII is wrong" if that's all that you meant. That sentence was designed to do nothing else than say, "look at how scummy DCIII and Hunger are being" but now you're trying to pass it off as if you were just saying that I was wrong.
You're ignoring context and clear intent when trying to make points relevant to your case.
-----------
I'd still rather lynch Citric - Emo has a claimed provable ability that should hold him accountable and we don't have enough time to work out whatever the claim would be and/or move votes around if needed.
@Rhand - If you aren't interested in the Citric case because I'm the one driving it, then why haven't you pushed me at all Today... or why don't you look at the case I made on him? Pot - kettle? You aren't pushing me either and just called me scum.
I have thought about pushing you, but the deadline is near and bringing an extra wagon into play will not help us now.
I did look back at those posts from Hawk. And your points there are ok. But I still think the Hawk slot is town for meta reasons. Hawk is always a fairly easy mislynch when he's town.
I'd still rather lynch Citric - Emo has a claimed provable ability that should hold him accountable and we don't have enough time to work out whatever the claim would be and/or move votes around if needed.
There is 1 vote on Citric - yours. What makes you think that vote will accomplish more than adding your vote to the emo wagon?
About the "I want everyone to notice how much DCIII and Hunger are overselling Hunger's scum hunting Day 1" thing: assuming emo is indeed scum, wouldn't this then only make sense if you or Hunger were his buddy?
Why would scum try to tie two townies together like that?
I agree with Rhand on Kam's 91, and I also think it feels a bit constructed. "We need to get interaction from everyone else." is just such an obvious thing to say.
In #122 he answers to pressure from Kami, but doesn't pressure him back
Right now my top suspect is Kam for what I mentioned earlier, his posts feel careful and calculated, but not really like he is adding anything or trying to figure anything out.
What he 'mentioned earlier' is that he agreed with me.
I really don't think Hawk is scum. I just need to find another recent scumgame from him to doublecheck a meta thing.
Can't we just lynch Kami or Citric?
We got three days to deadline so I'll shift my vote if needed. But frankly given how scummy Hawk has been I'm disappointed none of the people townreading him have been able to give me a convincing reason why.
I haven't seen a reason for Kami being town either.
Yep. Nothing.
He used my explanation of Kami's post as a good reason to call him scum for half a Day, and now when he rereads what I said about Kami, he simply says 'yep, nothing'.
Which means his reads are all fabricated.
@Emo - I agree with him (and covered the points in my last post as well). Town regularly buck against what the majority want to do and it is off that you pushed back on my trying to get your thoughts on the rest of the Kami wagon... and normally when people call what I'm saying dumb to the degree that they're doing it, I've found that they're trying to discredit what I'm saying.
---
@Rhand - You've discounted two entire cases I've made without following up on them because you think I'm scum but have done nothing with it. That should be a pretty convicted scum read. My opinion on you has waveredToday, mostly because of your interactions with Citric and vice versa, and you've been gone a good portion of it. The fact that you're considering Citric or Hunger on re-entry but not pushing a player you want nothing to do with the wagon of because you think he's scum is way off.
There's one vote on Citric which is mine - but Antny intended to vote him (and hopefully will) which you called out in your last post... and several other people have expressed suspicion of him so I'm hoping that will come to fruition - feels like you're playing dumb to that and trying to make me out to be a lone wagoneer. If the Emo wagon got more support, I will support it.
It doesn't only make sense for Emo to act if he's acting if Hunger is scum. It's a good way to discredit the person pushing back on him/the wagon by painting them as scummy. It removes resistance, which is something that I know you're sharp enough to consider.
Boo on this game right now.
Citric/Emo/Rhand possibly Seppel - those are all my strongest scum reads, in that order.
@DCIII: I returned from VL/A just a few days for deadline and had no clue what happened this game.
Pushing you based on old stuff would not have been a productive way of doing things.
Instead I chose to reread Hunger and look at Citric's mindset as it seemed one of those two was going to be the lynch.
Visiting my parents and phone posting so not doing quotes. Thought deadline was tomorrow.
1. Void - Iso'ing me is all well and good, but you are ignoring context in so many of your points against me in that wall.
2. Speaking of context, Rhand, your point saying I forgot about not liking Kam is a straight misrep. Look at the iso of me again, there is likely a post within a couple of that in which Iso questioned that exact thing and I explain that he misunderstood. Spoiler: there is a difference between "any more" and "anymore." If you are going to iso me at least read the whole thing instead of picking and choosing.
3. Rhand, as for my saying you did nothing: You literally said one sentence that isn't even a very strong stance, and then you never elaborated on it the rest of the Day and only even mentioned Kam a couple other times yet he was your strongest scum read all Day. In the context of emo attacking me for terrible scumhunting, my point was you did nothing that should make him think you were doing good scumhunting while berating me for not. Again, context is a thing.
I would still rather lynch Seppel or Citric, but there is a 0% chance I am scum and there is little time left so emo seems to be the only option.
If I get lynched, look at Seppel. Rhand has gone way up in my scum reads also with his *****ty attempt to swoop in here last second and present a flimsy case on me.
@Hunger:
2. Is fair enough. I misread that post. I ISO'd you, so didn't see that had been pointed out before.
3. Nothing is a misrep if you found what I wrote enough to have him as a strong scumread for so long. The things you said about Kami afterwards were all a continuation on that as well. Important question tho: was that analysis purely a response to Emo's case, or did you actually get a read on me (and others) from making it?
As Lady Samantha gazed at the glyphs on the walls of The Keep, she heard footsteps behind her. She turned to face a small mob.
"You! Why are you so concerned with these glyphs?" Void sternly inquired.
"What mean you?" she replied. "I was just curious as to their design..."
"Those glyphs are symbols of evil." Seppel shouted. "She has been called by the dark!"
CitricBase chimed in, "It all makes sense! She can read these symbols!"
Samantha, becoming alarmed, attempted to ease their suspicion. "What?! No... I see naught but ancient scrawl here!"
Rhand readied his sword. "We must kill her! She has become a sorceress of the dark!"
"NO!" she screamed in fear. "How can you make such accusations! I have fought at your side through this ordeal!"
Rhand had heard enough. He lept into action, lunging at Samantha and slicing her chest open in one fluid motion. All Samantha could do was make gurgling sounds as blood rushed to her mouth. She quickly fell dead.
As her body cooled, it slowly began to fade to dust. The day was a victory for the forces of the light.
Hunger has been lynched. He was Lady Samantha.
Hunger, welcome to Vagrant Story Mafia!
You are Lady Samantha
"Summoning evil beyond his control... he fills his chalice with poison and savors it like wine!"
As a high-ranking officer in the Order of the Crimson Blades, you are no stranger to combat. Your lover, Commander Guildenstern, has been charged to lead a group of Blades into Leá Monde, and you are quick to join his side. You fear for the dangers that the city poses to your fellow soldiers, but you will follow your lover to the end of the world. You are aware that Guildenstern plans to warp the dark powers teeming within the city to his own means, and you imagine what new kind of world the two of you can rule together.
Alignment: Mafia Class: Shaman Role: Locked
Your win condition is to equal or outnumber the Town.
You have the following ability:
Ambush: You may perform the Mafia's factional night kill.
To unlock your role, you must search the city of Leá Monde for your Grimoire. You may move to a new location each Day phase, and you may move at any time (including Twilight). You will search that location upon arrival. Based upon Crimson Blades intelligence data, you have ascertained that your Grimoire is located somewhere above ground, but nowhere near a body of water.
Your teammates are Romeo Guildenstern (DCIII) and Jan Rosencrantz (mirrorentity). You may communicate with the Mafia during Night phases here.
Crimson Blades intelligence has informed you that John Hardin has gone missing and is not presently in Leá Monde.
You are the second in command of the Müllenkamp cult, and have come to Leá Monde with your leader and best friend, Sydney, and the young boy who was seized from the Greylands. You are a gentle soul at heart and shy away from combat, choosing to carry out tasks much more suitable for a spy. You were wary of entering the city, but you have unrelenting trust in your compatriot. Unfortunately you became separated amongst the chaos.
Please confirm via PM. Good luck!
It is now Night 2. Do not post in this thread until Day 3 starts.
All night actions must be submitted within 72 hours.
As Ashley Riot reaches a large clearing in the Forest, he begins to make out the silhouette of another man in the distance, approaching him.
"Who goes there?" he calls out.
'Tis a warrior of the light, you VKP hound!" calls out Father Grissom. He unsheathes his sword as the Riskbreaker approaches. "Why do you tread on this unholy ground?"
Ashley steadies his hand on the hilt of his own weapon. "Calm yourself. I am no enemy of the Cardinal, I am simply here hunting for Sydney."
Grissom scoffs. "How do I know you are not in league with the scoundrel? We have already seen one of our own fall to the Dark, and a Riskbreaker is certainly not of the pious!"
"Stand down..." Ashley responds coldly. "Or you will join your fallen comrade."
"By the Cardinal's honor..."
"Grissom! Stop!"
Grissom turns to see Lady Neesa approaching.
"We are here to extinguish the Müllenkamp vermin, not tangle with the VKP's enforcers."
Grissom considers the point for a moment before allowing his muscles to ease and lowering his sword.
"Fine then. But beware, Riskbreaker... I have no qualms with felling you should the need arise."
Ashley stands, staring at the two Blades.
"Likewise."
It is now Day 3.
With 9 alive, it takes 5 to lynch.
Day 3 Deadline: Monday, December 29 @ 11:00am
I was going to come in here and vote Antny, but this is even better. I took a gamble last night and roleblocked E_P based on the was the last few pages of D2 ended.

We should be able to get the last of our Grimoires today. I'm going to search the Town Center.
(Also we might not be able to trust Hunger's result on the City Walls)
I am Grand Steward LeSait, Town 2-Shot Invigorator.
I can target a player at night and either give them an additional shot of an ability if they are N-Shot or give them an additional shot that night if they are an unlimited shot ability.
Did this vote not count for some reason?
@Bur: No, the answer in that post. Just look at the Hunger posts alone and don't read the rest. That will give you the case on Hunger.

He agrees with me on why Kami looks bad:
In #122 he answers to pressure from Kami, but doesn't pressure him back

What he 'mentioned earlier' is that he agreed with me.
He then forgets he already didn't like Kami:
He asks Kami a few questions and then moves his pressure to Hawk, keeping his vote on Kami.
Kami gets lynched.
Then Hunger does his wagon analysis, and here he says something which I think makes him scum:
He used my explanation of Kami's post as a good reason to call him scum for half a Day, and now when he rereads what I said about Kami, he simply says 'yep, nothing'.

Also it would help me if we massclaim toDay. Who's interested (a yes/no in your next post)?
I wanted a no lynch to prove my ability to Hunger and Citric and then lynch Hunger (I figure that question is coming). Bur should be the next lynch.
There is. I think they tried to kill me.
oh? this i would like to hear.
(also im in a relativly good mood so my posting is higher then usal)
I'd like Antny to claim next.
Think or know?
I can target a player at night and either give them an additional shot of an ability if they are N-Shot or give them an additional shot that night if they are an unlimited shot ability.
I'd like to popcorn to Bur.
I also forgot to mention that my ability only works if I target someone with an unlocked ability.
cool, im heading off to work (have a full day of work ahead) so if i get popcorned it might be a while before i get back
@Ika: I remember that votecount, one sec.
I'm Sydney Losstarot, a warlock.
I have two one-shot abilities, but I can use only one. I can either kill someone, or vanillize someone who has found their Grimoire.
And no, I didn't use either of those last night.
(fyi im on break)
i aso want to hear why rehand thinks he was the nk choice, if doent really eem to add up that he would be targeted for a NK if he was AFK entire day
after we get a comlication of claims im breakign this game into 2
