The town gathers again to surround their latest suspected assassin, Sir Karn, and question him. Someone slides the rope around his neck while he's screaming "You can't do this, I'm Shakaar, we don't even HAVE a death penalty in the Federation!" Someone pushes him off the ledge to hang, but he reforms into liquid, falls out of the noose, and starts puddling away on the lower level of the Promenade. A voice in the background is heard calling for Security; a response is heard in the form of six security officers transporting in, firing in concert on the changeling with their Type IV compression phaser rifles, vaporizing it with no trouble..
Sir Karn, Shakaar Changeling (Mafia Ascetic/Godfather) has been lynched. Night will be extended due to the holiday season, night actions will be due at 8 PM Monday, 29 December; Day 5 will start at roughly 10 PM.

Hey all... I'm retired, not dead. Check out what I'm doing these days (and beg me to come back if you want):
Day breaks again on Deep Space Nine, and the assembled not-so-large crowd sees that two of their own have been killed in their sleep and left in a pile unceremoniously in the middle of the Promenade with their throats cut.
KamikazeArchon (Commander Tuvok, Town Namecop) and Hansanator (Captain Beverly Crusher, Town Doctor) were both killed. It's evident that someone tried to sew Doctor Crusher's wounds back together, but that clearly didn't do any good, as the needle and thread were left with the bodies.
9 alive, 5 to lynch. It is now Day 5.

KoolKoal: Feel free to take this with a grain of salt since self meta isn't particularly helpful, but I think I get scumread mostly for style over substance, but also for a certain lack of substance over style. It's not so much what I AM posting most of the time (though sometimes that can seem bad) but what I'm NOT posting. I've been told I come to non-obvious conclusions a lot, so when I post, quite a bit of the time there's jumps in logic that people can't follow and they think that's scummy. I get that accusation about a lot of questions I ask specifically. People call them "busy work" when the questions are legit etc.
As far as things to ignore, I can't think of anything. I would suggest you focus less on what I'm doing and more on how I'm doing it. That's probably more likely to be accurate. Like I've just said, what I do tends to come off a little weird, but if you look for how I do it, mindset comes into play and maybe you figure out something useful.
It is probably Wheat. Look at the way Karn tried to take credit for his read on him the Day we lynched Kpaca... And I think that was a bus attempt by Kpaca as well. The surety of both that Wheat is scum and how much they played up that read of theirs.
why would I claim borg immunizer if I was the queen when it would instantly lend more credence towards there being a queen AND would probably get me counterclaimed
and if it didn't get me counterclaimed then I would probably have taken it from a drone who would have had to have claimed vanilla
but all the vanilla claims were already out in the open
I mean it's midnight right now so maybe I'm just tired but I just don't get the argument and I'm not looking forward to having to face it all Day and probably get lynched in the end anyway

@Rhand, I'm assuming it means scum have a tough guy type shot they used on Hans. I dontfeel comfortable lynching Wheat, as he played similar to this in Wu Tang that just ended.
Anyone have any theories on Karn being an ascetic godfather? With barely any cops revealed, to boot?

What's the odds that this game has aa Borg immune and a Borg preventer but no Borg?
Wildfire: you said wheat targeting you explained something. What did it explain
It explained the fact that I didn't get Borg'd.
Of course, so does the nonexistence of the Borg Queen.
From the fact that we've seen ZERO drone flips, the Queen is either incredibly lucky (and has recruited only those who haven't yet flipped), incredibly unlucky (and has failed at all or most of her recruiting attempts), or nonexistent. The third option seems the most credible.
The flavor of last night's kill implies that I was redirected to Hans, and then the Mafia killed Kami. This would mean a full Redirector (i.e. targets me to choose my target) and not a Deflector (i.e. targets my target to bounce it to a new target), meaning I'm probably not going to shoot if we don't flip the Redirector today.
It also implies a few other things:
1) Scum don't think Wheat should die. I publicly announced that I was going to target Wheat, and he is one of the top candidates for Queen remaining. This means they have to basically know he's not the queen, either because they know he's scum or because they know there IS no queen.
2) Scum weren't concerned enough about TCM being the queen to kill him. Killing a Doctor is important, but TCM is a claimed info role AND one of the few remaining slots that could be the queen. This means, again, that they aren't worried about him being the queen for either reason listed above, and/or aren't worried about his informational role (and are more worried about Kami's)
If we lynch Wheat toDay and I shoot TCM toNight, we've basically got the game in the bag.

Also, the fact that there was a kill and a Redirect (at least, it appears that way) implies that there are two scum left. I can't really see there being 4 scum, 2 SK's, AND a cult leader among 22 people.

I don't get why they would've shot Kami when he was an easy mislynch target. That doesn't make any sense to me.
Agreed with the flavor implying a redirect kill on Hans.
I can understand the scum not caring about a town!TCM given that we have no idea how his ability works (or a slim idea, anyway). Given the existence of all of the alternate timelines and realities for characters, I don't get why they killed Kami unless the remaining scum is/are characters that are universally evil in all timelines they appear in. I think that is a valid assumption -- it's the only logical reason to kill Kami, and I think that clears the mason pair.
Wheat and LnG are probably the best suspects at the moment, with TCM and Rhand coming up behind them.
At this point, I agree with Wildfire. The Queen is probably a red herring -- if there is a Queen, she's probably scum, not cult. 4 scum + 2 SK seems like a reasonable setup.
1) They didn't. I did, and the flavor of last night's kills is just confusing
2) They were hedging their bets on him potentially being the Queen, who they basically needed to die last night if she existed in order to not lose to the Borg. This would further imply that Wheat (and maybe TCM) is scum because otherwise Wheat would have been a better kill as a potential Queen.
3) One or more scum has a different real name than their claimed name making him effectively a Cop at this point.

We have a weird cop, whatever the heck that does. I don't like that slot either, though.
Wheat and very probably TCM, maybe LnGr but probably TCM.
Wheat is defending against Borg but I think he's scum. Karn and Kpaca's play point toward thinking they'd look good by him being lynched. Note the extreme confidence in language when kpaca said "you're welcome" (or something similar) when he pointed out the main thread thing on Wheat and how Karn jumped in to point out that he was the one driving the Wheat lynch when momentum shifted. Both are bus heavy players as well.
I'm also starting to think there's bastardry at play and despite my role and HP's that there isn't actually a queen. If there is, it's be one of Bur/DCIII and I was somehow wrong about them but I just don't really believe that.
I've spent enough time defending myself and I don't really feel like doing it again all day; no matter what I point out everyone goes straight back to thinking I need to be lynched anyway, so I'll just be a distraction.

Killjoy was confirmed double voter, which is the ultimate cult target.
I'll give you that this makes some amount of sense. Unless of course the Queen steals abilities like she did last game, in which case stealing a double vote gives her away.

I'm currently operating on the theory that there is no Queen, based off of zero drone flips and the distinct possibility that there are 4 scum. If Wheat's the queen, he'd probably have droned both me and KJ by now, but he'd also know how his ability works (and I guess, thusly, know that he wouldn't steal the double voting power, just control it) and know whether or not taking control of KJ would give him away.
But I'm voting him and KJ is willing to hammer, so that situation doesn't seem likely.

@DC3, I am a bit unsure right now. I don't think I'm worried about Wildfire too much, but with this being a weird game my paranoia is perking up. Maybe a third SK? I don't know.
Wheat really isn't doing anything or defending himself, and his flip should theoretically confirm the existence of a cult or not. It just feels like we are rushing this Day without any need to rush. *shrug*

Everyone who I think could possibly be the queen via mechanics can't be the queen via interactions so I think Rax made me essentially vanilla in a really bastardy way. >:(
this is why i don't feel like defending myself anymore: no one pays any attention to what I'm saying

I'm Captain Chakotay, captain of USS Voyager. I was brought here against my will and I just want to return to my ship. However, while I'm here, I might just as well get assist Starfleet and figure out everything behind the assasination. However, as I used to be a member of Marquis, I have connections and friends. I have Captain Ro Laren and I know he is not involved in this case.
tl;dr Captain Chakotay - Town Mason. Captain Ro Laren (DCIII) is the other Mason. We have daychat. No mention that I'm from another universe.
