Six months have passed since Malcom , leader of the Thunder Crash team, defeated Xan Kriegor and became the new Champion of the Tournament. In order to capitalize on their new champion's popularity, Liandri Corporation has authorized a special "Thunder Crash vs. The World!" exhibition match: Malcom and two of his Thunder Crash teammates have been scheduled to fight nine other elite Tournament fighters in a special team Last Man Standing match, with no respawns and each round occurring in a different iconic Tournament arena. Even with Malcom's skill, this hardly seems fair... but rumor says that the organizers have given Thunder Crash a special edge to even the scales...

Sample Vanilla Town Role PM:
”Athena fights for the sake of the battle. Her eyes sharp and her mind focused only on victory. She will not confide in the rest of Venom, but something drives her solely towards victory.” - Tournament description
Welcome to Unreal Tournament Mafia, Sample Role PM! You are Athena, leader of the all-female Venom team. You've gained a cult following among women, which would have earned you a spot in this exhibition match if not for an injury suffered a few days before the match forcing you to withdraw. But you're not sure your combat prowess would have helped against a disguised enemy...
You are Vanilla Town. You have no special abilities.
You win when all threats to the Town have been eliminated.

Rules (modified from my MafiaScum ruleset, deadline rules adapted from Prophylaxis's CT3 ruleset):
<0> I reserve the right to modify the rules if necessary (i.e, if a loophole is discovered).
<1> This is a game. I hope that you have fun. In return, I ask that you not have your fun at the expense of the other players in this game (in other words, don't be a jerk). Repeated or extreme violations of this rule will result in replacement or modkill.
<1a> Attempting to use loopholes in the rules to gain an advantage in the game is a violation of rule 1, and will be treated as such. This applies to things like encrypted codes, invisible text, editing and deleting posts, trying to use the structure of the role PM to gain an advantage, etc. Please, use your common sense!
<2> If there is a conflict between a role and the rules, the role wins.
<3> Do not edit your posts, on pain of modkill.
<4> Quoting private communications (role PM, mason conversations, etc.) or pretending to do the same will result in a modkill. Paraphrasing, however, is not only acceptable but encouraged unless I explicitly say otherwise. Note that I will be more lenient about this rule than I have been in the past.
<5> You may not talk with other people about this game outside of the thread (but see Rule 2).
<6> This game will have a vote count but will have no FoS count.
<7> To help the game run smoothly, votes should be made in bold text, and use the format Vote: XXXX. Please use a colon when voting, as this makes finding votes for vote counts much easier. Unvoting is not required.
<8> If a player has a majority of votes, that player is lynched and cannot be unvoted. You may talk during twilight unless I state otherwise.
<9> Each game day will begin with a deadline in days equal to the number of players times 1.5, rounded up. Additionally, two extensions are available upon request: one for three days, the other for a number of days equal to the lynch threshold. Each is only available once, and only at the mod's discretion (don't be mad if I say no). The deadline may also be temporarily suspended in extreme situations, but this occurs strictly at the mod's discretion (it may not be requested).
<10> If deadline occurs without a full majority, No Lynch will occur.
<11> You may elect to No Lynch any number of times during the course of the game. In order to No Lynch, one of the two following conditions must be met: either a majority of living players must vote no lynch, or no player receives a majority of votes before deadline. (To vote No Lynch, please use the format Vote: No Lynch.)
<12> Don't drink and post, or the mod will call you out on it. (This rule is an injoke and doesn't actually do anything.)
<13> After Day ends (with the exception of Day 0, which leads directly into Day 1), the game will enter night. Night will last 72 hours unless otherwise indicated. Do not post during Night, upon pain of modkill (though I'll be lenient if it's an accident).
<14> When you die, stop posting. You may make a single "Bah!"/"Frak you!"/etc. post in the thread. You may not include game content in this post. In addition, once you are dead, please do not discuss the game outside of the spectator chat until the game is over, as this makes the mod's life easier.
<15> All players need to post at least once every 72 hours, or inform me if this is not possible. If you do not post for 72 hours, you will be prodded. If you are prodded, then you will need to post something (a simple "/prodded" will suffice if you're short on time) within 48 hours (or 72 hours on weekends) or you will be replaced. The third time you fail to post for 72 hours, you will be replaced.
<15a> If you have limited access, you need to post to this effect in the thread. If I prod you despite you declaring V/LA status, call me on it and I will be duly embarrassed.
<15b> If you post before I get around to handing out the prod, you avoid the prod.
<16> Players may only use one special ability per day/night cycle (but see Rule 2). Passive abilities and factional abilities are not counted as special abilities for purposes of this rule; any activated abilities inherent to a faction, however, count normally
<17> This game will start on Day 1 after all players have confirmed (by the method specified in their role PM, which is via return PM for all roles in this game).
<18> Any player who is modkilled automatically loses the game unless the modkill is made to preserve the game state. I will modkill in the fashion that I deem most damaging to the modkilled player's faction and/or least damaging to the gamestate.
<19> I reserve the right to add rules if necessary (or if I really, really want to).
<20> Okay, that's enough formal-sounding stuff. Good luck, have fun!
Players familiar with the normal rules for a Mafia game should still review rule 4 (clarification on PM quoting), rule 7 (vote formatting), and rule 9 and 10 (deadline rules).
It is now the Confirmation Stage. Role PMs are going out (as quickly as Curse will allow). Please confirm via return PM. Do not post in the thread until the start of Day 1. Mentors, please remember to send me the link if you are using a QT to communicate. Roles that can communicate outside the game may begin to do so now. Day 1 will begin in 24 hours or when all confirmations are in, whichever comes second.
"Welcome to all of our eager viewers! I'm some_noob and this is Deadeye, and we're here to keep you up to speed on this exciting feature match as it happens! ARE YOU READY FOR SOME DEATHMATCH?"
"I sure am. Now, as covered in prematch discussions, Liandri's set up a special rotating venue for this match - each round will occur on a different fan-favorite arena! We asked a couple of Liandri people for any comments about the arenas chosen, and while they couldn't be specific we *think* that Facing Worlds is going to be the first arena up. And why wouldn't it? "Face" has been number one in the arena popularity polls for three straight years, it figures that they'd schedule it for either the first or last arena in the rotation."
"Deadeye, what do you think is going through each team's heads right now as they make their final preparations for the match?
"Well, I can't say for sure, but as a three-year veteran of the Tournament I suspect that the challengers are really looking forward to getting another crack against Thunder Crash - Thunder Crash is popular among the fans, but a bunch of other teams don't like them due to the way they play and the amount of cash they've got for training. Thunder Crash is probably feeling a little nervous - they're the best in the game, true, but they're outnumbered three-to-one and that's awfully tough to overcome even with better skills. Not Malcom, though. He's one of those corp-sponsored Chem Killers, they don't feel fear, just adrenaline."
"You mentioned that three-to-one numbers difference, Deadeye. How do you think Thunder Crash will compensate for that?"
"Well, part of it depends on whatever that rumored special twist is - I don't think Liandri would set up a feature match like this where the popular reigning champions are outnumbered without giving them something to even the odds. Outside of that? I think they'll need to try to use more stealth than usual - keep to railings and dark spots where they can shoot their opposition from a distance. Also, I'd try to take the high ground in their shoes - quite a few very good fighters forget to look up in the heat of combat. On Face specifically, I'd-"
"Match starting in 5... 4... 3..."
"I'll have to cut you off there, Deadeye, because the game is about to begin. We've got the feed to the arena now - the first round is on CTF-Face as expected - and the three Thunder Crash players just ported in with the rest... wait. Where *are* the Thunder Crash players? I see the full slotted twelve players... and NONE of them are Thunder Crash! Is this the gimmick? What's going on?"
"Well [BLEEP] me. That mimic device rumor was right! The Thunder Crash players are disguised as players from other teams! We'll update you on exactly who is a Thunder Crash player in disguise once Liandri sends us the final player manifest."
"So, Deadeye... if you were in this situation, how would you fight against an enemy who's disguised as members of your own team?"
All players have confirmed. Day 1 will begin momentarily.
"This ancient asteroid has been converted to an Arena for the Tournament. It is highly dangerous due to aberrant gravitational properties and, of course, the snipers from the other team."

"Originally built by the Nipi monks on Nepal to escape moral degradation, this serene and beautiful place once called for meditation; until Liandri acquired it for perfect tournament conditions."
I will count W1ngz's vote in post 6 this time. In future, please use the format "Vote: PLAYERNAME" (with colon, please, it makes it easier to find your vote). - Tar
Since I've seen some confusion about this in PMs, a couple of notes for our newer players (and players unfamiliar with my mod formatting):
- The deadline listed in each vote count is the deadline for the game day. When it passes, day instantly ends; if no player has reached a full majority of votes by the time deadline occurs, the lynch is resolved according to deadline rules (which, in this game, means that No Lynch occurs).
- I will usually count misformatted votes (such as W1ngz's RVS vote) the intent is clear. If I do not count a misformatted vote, I probably missed it (if I intentionally do not count a vote to make a point, I'll generally make a note of that in the vote count).
A question to everyone: do you think that making an incorrect lynch is always better than a No Lynch?
The only time it's an okay thing to no lynch is at MYLO. The exception to this is very short day phases and last minute claims from someone who was AFK for a while, or something!

First off fulcrum, I rvs voted a guy for wishing everyone a good game. It was a joke to counter his good manners with bad manners.
Now let's get in to the real talk. Bolly brought up a question about always lynching vs. No lynching. There is nothing wrong with that but when asked why it was because he was paranoid about the deadline. My problem with this is he shouldn't be concerned with mafia game theory, he should be reading in to what people are saying. I think that he felt that if he showed he was worried about hitting a no lynch, that is a town mentality. Basically I think that he tried over compensating.
Therefore I immediately pressured him with a vote and wanted to compare this action to his other scum meta actions to confirm or deny my suspicions.
I do love the terrible wagon though, should make analysis easy. Gut says kamikaze is derp town. Either wingz or fulcrum is scum. Both of their posts are off, over thought out with forced votes.
I'm going to go look in to that other scum game of bolly first.
Bolly's reactions lack self consciousness and he expressed pride in winning a scum game. I really doubt he's scum, and I don't see how you can look at his posts and conclude that he is.

Vote: Hawk
Why did you wait until W1ngz voted hawk before you did, especially considering he hasn't responded to your question. Also what is lovely?

Blah blah blah fulcrum, sorry I don't know everyone's alignment by post 56 like you, and by you I mean the scum team.

And kamikaze confirmed derp town. He was involved in early wrong wagon and got lynched d1.
