Leon, Alucard, and Shanoa gather around the robed figure (while Simon realizes that the giant scythe should've been a giveaway). Indeed, he was Death, Mafia Roleblocker: Dracula's closest confidant and the last of his power on this earth.
Well done, vampire hunters -- day has broken and this horrible night has finally come to an end. Wallachia is safe; Europe is safe; every corner of the world where man walks is safe from the tyranny of Lord Dracula. Castlevania Mafia has ended in a town victory!
♫ Theme of Simon Belmont ♫ Super Castlevania IV
Konami Kukeiha Club
How many times will Dracula be resurrected? How many times will darkness fall over Wallachia, siphoning all hope from the hearts of men and allowing the creatures of chaos to roam free? You don't care. Each time Dracula rises, you'll send him back to the grave with vengeance tenfold. You did it in 1691. And then, when the Lord of Darkness cursed your body, you reassembled his body yourself just to do it again. Why? Because you're Simon mother****ing Belmont.
You are Simon Belmont, Town 2-Shot Vigilante.
You win when no members of the mafia are alive.
During the Night, you may kill target player. You can do this twice during the game.
♫ Pitiful Scion ♫ Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Michiru Yamane
You take off the three-piece suit in favor of something more befitting a prince. It's a fine suit -- Yves Saint-Laurent -- but the suit, like the whole persona of "Genya Arikado," isn't for times as desperate as these. The Dark Lord has risen once more. Dracula -- your father. But you're your mother's child, not your father's; you know that Dracula must be defeated and that this battle is your responsibility alone. You will find him, and then, just as you did in 1476 and 1797, you will kill him.
You are Alucard, Town Tracker.
You win when no members of the mafia are alive.
During the Night, you may track target player. At the end of the Night you will learn who the tracked player targeted that Night.
♫ Slash ♫ Castlevania: Rondo of Blood
Jigokuguruma Nakamura
"Lend him your strength!" you shouted. After all, Richter Belmont couldn't defeat Dracula alone; no, that was beyond him. Every Belmont before him could. Trevor did it, Christopher did it, Simon did it. Richter, though -- he didn't stand a chance without you refreshing his health. After all, this was the same man who was brainwashed by a dead priest, stuck in a whip for 150 years, and outclassed by a 12-year-old who fights with boomeranging doves: you.
You are Maria Renard, Town Doctor.
You win when no members of the mafia are alive.
During the Night, you may protect target player. All kills targeting the protected player that Night will fail.
♫ Lament of Innocence ~Leon's Theme~ ♫ Castlevania: Lament of Innocence
Michiru Yamane
"This whip and my kinsmen will destroy you some day," you call out to him. "From this day on, the Belmont clan will hunt the Night!" That man, Dracula himself, was once your close friend and companion Mathias Cronqvist, before grief at the hand of his wife's death turned him to the immortality and evils of vampirism. And so your kinsmen have hunted him, generation after generation and Night after Night. Now it's your turn to take up their fight.
You are Leon Belmont, Town Vanilla.
You win when no members of the mafia are alive.
You have no special abilities.
♫ An Empty Tome ♫ Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
Michiru Yamane
Where did the storied Belmont Clan go? Who is to defeat Dracula with the Vampire Killer bound and powerless? Who is to defeat Dracula when the man whose organization replaced the Belmonts -- Barlowe -- was corrupted by the temptations of Dracula's power? It's nothing you can't handle yourself, with the rune on your back, the glyphs in your hands, and a well-timed "go to hell" to send Dracula's minions back to the grave.
You are Shanoa, Town Vanilla.
You win when no members of the mafia are alive.
You have no special abilities.
♫ Iron Blue Intention ♫ Castlevania: Bloodlines
Michiru Yamane
When it comes notability, you're the lesser of the two -- John Morris is the one with the whip, and John Morris is the one whose father Quincy was immortalized in Bram Stoker's Dracula. Sure, John's father died heroically, but you've had your own share of tragedy: in 1917, Elizabeth Bathory turned your girlfriend into a vampire, and in 1944, Brauner turned your twin daughters into vampires. Your story is just as important. You're just as well-equipped to defeat Dracula.
You are Eric Lecarde, Town Vanilla.
You win when no members of the mafia are alive.
You have no special abilities.
♫ Dance of Sadness ♫ Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Yuzo Koshiro
There was no greater horror than seeing your father helpless, struck down and mortally wounded by the vampire Brauner -- except maybe the horror that after Brauner bit you and turned you into one of his own kind, he'd do the same to your twin sister Loretta. As the "older" sister, you were responsible for your father's death, and you are responsible for the continued well-being and happiness of Loretta. If that means slaying Dracula himself, then you'll do it.
You are Stella Lecarde, Town Vanilla.
You win when no members of the mafia are alive.
You have no special abilities.
♫ Name Entry ♫ Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
Michiru Yamane
First things first: you are not a child. Everyone and their mother likes to call you one, but you've proven yourself enough in battles against the vampires Brauner and Dracula to deserve being called an adult. How old are you? Well, 16. But you're not a child. And you've certainly read enough books to understand how the world works. Is everyone saying that book smarts don't matter in the real world? Well, you'll show them.
They really can't leave you alone. Nope, you'll never lead a normal life. One day you're walking up the steps to a Shinto shrine with your girlfriend; the next you're the vessel for the reincarnation of Dracula and the inheritor of his dark, soul-stealing powers. But really, you're just a normal guy. You'll fight Dracula like the rest, but what do you have to offer?
You are Soma Cruz, Town Vanilla.
You win when no members of the mafia are alive.
You have no special abilities.
♫ Dracula's Theme ♫ Super Castlevania IV
Konami Kukeiha Club
"What is a man?" you ask. You know the answer, though: "a miserable pile of something-or-other." It was God that stole your beloved first wife Elisabetha from you, and it was mankind that burned your beloved second wife Lisa at the stake. No more. You have all the forces of darkness at your command and the ever-shifting walls of Castlevania in which to host them; no Belmont exists that can end your reign. "Enough talk -- have at you!"
You are Dracula, Mafia 1-Shot Bulletproof Leader.
You win when the mafia equals or outnumbers the town.
The first time you would be killed during the game, the kill fails.
You have the final say in who performs the Mafia kill and who he kills.
This flavor is safe for you to claim:
♫ Can't Wait Until the Night ♫ Castlevania: Harmony of Despair
Konami Kukeiha Club
Who are you? Well, you finally broke through your amnesia and figured it out. In retrospect, though, it should've been obvious. Those rugged good looks, that chiseled physique -- and who else would carry a vampire-hunting whip in the year 2035? You're a Belmont, and you're the one who did Dracula in for good as the sun was eclipsed over Romania in 1999. But if his soul is reincarnated in the body of a poor young foreign exchange student yet again, you'll pull yourself out of retirement. 55 or 105 -- it doesn't matter.
You are Julius Belmont, Town Vanilla.
You win when no members of the mafia are alive.
You have no special abilities.
♫ The Attendants' Rooms ♫ Super Castlevania IV
Konami Kukeiha Club
If those foolish humans knew how true their stereotype was, how frightened would they be? The ghastly aura, the skeletal visage, the ornate scythe; all bespeak in kind the mortality of man and the futility of life. Death is inexorable and inescapable, answering to no force on, above, or below the earth. Well, except for Dracula. For reasons unknown (but rather contrived) Lord Dracula has made the power of "death" subservient to him. Now that your lord has risen again, go to serve him -- give Dracula the use of all your power.
You are Death, Mafia Roleblocker.
You win when the mafia equals or outnumbers the town.
During the Night, you may block target player. All actions performed by the blocked player that Night will fail.
This flavor is safe for you to claim:
♫ Abandoned Castle ~Curse of Darkness~ ♫ Castlevania: Curse of Darkness
Michiru Yamane
No human has made it further into Dracula's confidence than you did in 1476, the year he terrorized the Wallachian countryside -- and the year Trevor Belmont killed him. But in that inner circle, among the likes of Death himself and your fellow Devil Forgemaster, Isaac, you realized how horrifyingly evil the vampire lord is. Your betrayal had a part to play in Dracula's downfall then, and now, with a host of Innocent Devils at your command, you'll continue to wage war against him.
You are Hector, Town Vanilla.
You win when no members of the mafia are alive.
You have no special abilities.
♫ Prayer of a Tragic Queen ♫ Castlevania: Bloodlines
Michiru Yamane
The Blood Countess, they call you -- and fair enough for them. You do love blood. It took the blood of hundreds and hundreds of innocent young girls to sate your palate. That sweet, sanguine taste on your tongue; that invigorating, viscous texture on your skin. Sure, Dracula, let's get you resurrected again and rend the blood from the rest of these petty humans. It's been 400 years since your last bath.
You are Elizabeth Bathory, Mafia Goon.
You win when the mafia equals or outnumbers the town.
Not one of them suspected you of being a woman -- and admittedly, it was difficult hiding your beauty under those robes. But thank God you are! Who else could have borne Trevor Belmont's children and passed your magical abilities on to generations and generations of future Belmonts? Not that anyone else ever learned to use triple homing piercing balls of lightning quite like you, but you've always been someone special. Woman or not.
Proser, any reasoning why you picked the characters you did for the Town PMs (and Mafia fake-claims)?
Personally, I would have made sure that Trevor and Grant were present, but I'm a big fan of CV3.

I'm a big fan of CV3 too! That last video was actually just ripped from my longplay of Akumajou Densetsu on Youtube since I didn't have time to record another video.
There wasn't a whole lot of reasoning for the roles I chose though
I already had Simon so Trevor seemed a bit too similar and I went for Leon and Julius instead.
Uh, I realize I am a bit late here, I literally forgot this game ever happened and was just reminded that it ended, but
I do want to apologize if I got a bit lazy towards the end of day 1.
I'm sure I said this back during the game, but we (us board 8ers) had just come off a game where we had a 72-hour day 1 that lasted about 5000 posts. (And then continued to have another 5000 posts over the next few 48-hour days)
So I was totally burnt out on mafia and really just could not focus on this one, no matter how much I tried. We usually don't get games that active, so I had no idea I'd be spread so thin.
Chris can handle that really well apparently, but I guess I can't. So, sorry about that.
Congrats to town for winning.
