Why are you guys trying to fish more information out of Burning_Earth's claim?
It's not fishing when they're at L-2. The important information—who his supposed partners are—I have forbidden him to answer and I do not want.
I thought I had caught him in an obvious lie, his claim didn't make sense, and I wanted to see how much he would talk before I revealed the catch and we lynched him.
...Until just now. I thought he was just totally faking everything because he was describing a mason group but called himself a neighbor, which to me is the role where a person can choose who they talk to at night and reveal their alignment to them. Then I saw this from DJ:
Also, neighbours are not confirmed town, just saying.
... and I looked up on the wiki to confirm that, yes, apparently a neighbor group is an unconfirmed mason group. I had always just called that an "unconfirmed mason group."
so... yeah. This doesn't change my opinion on B_E. If this group is real it likely contains scum (given MTGS's penchant for doing mixed alignment groups), so we've still got a live one here.
I do have to alter my line of questioning, though.
No info includes not knowing their names or alignments to clarify.
you know their MTGS username I presume
you could just ask what their role names are, no?
What form of communication do you have with your group and are you allowed to quote from it?
A: their mtgs username is not in fact included in my PM
B: We have a QT and I am not sure if we are allowed to quote. Asking mod now.
So...
In your role PM you know that there are two students, one who is "snobby" and one who is your "friend." Yet you don't know anything about them? I think (flavorwise) if you know your cult-mates well enough to be friends with them/know that they are snobs that you would know their name. This is weird.
Final questions: Do you NOW know the identities of your two partners? If so, when did they reveal themselves? BEFORE YOU CLAIMED PUBLICLY, had you revealed yourself to them? Again, don't say who they are, just need yes/no answers to these questions.
Really? Go back and re-read the beginning of Futurama and then look at his approach here and then look at my argument.
Also, you called him out for his naked vote on you, yet you aren't concerned about how he immediately shifted his vote to the BE wagon and put it at L-1 after that? Why is that?
because I think he's being truthful about just throwing that out as an RVS vote.
if he hadn't immediately switched into the B_E vote I'd have a problem with him. As it is his story adds up: He joined the game late, threw out an RVS vote to let us know he was here, and then his next post was real content. What is the problem?
Putting BE at L-1 is definitely a thing but I could see that just being a mistake.

What real content? It was a bunch of one liners reiterating other points already made and even if he didn't realize he was putting him at L-1 (which I think is unlikely that he wouldn't have figured out where his vote put him), he surely had to realize that he was putting him in claim range - so he was drawing out a claim before several players had even checked in.
He could have just as easily said (as several other players did) that he agreed with the points made and that his vote would be on BE.
I hope we're on the same team this game. I'd hate to have to get you lynched yet again.

Rezombied started with a naked vote on Meggido. If it was an RVS vote, it was late in the game as plenty was already happening, and it didn't include anything to make it seem an RVS vote like a joke, etc.
If it was a serious vote to pressure Meggido, then I would have expected much more of a follow up or pressure in his following post. Instead, when Meggido called him on it, he immediately shifted his focus onto BE's wagon while making a passing comment to Meggido about being touchy.
So, either Rezombied felt the need to RVS vote well after it was over and to do so by naked voting, or he placed a serious vote and then almost immediately changed his focus to the wagon that was already well established when he placed his first vote.
Then, his vote of BE was justified by one-liners basically reiterating other points that had already been made, and his vote put BE to L-1 with an RVS vote on the wagon and with several players not having checked back in from RVS or even posted at all.
You voted Megiddo late to get a reaction, and when that reaction came out, you labeled him as "touchy". What is your current read on Megiddo right now? Is your self-purported "touchiness" a sign of town or scum?

Yes we were posting in the QT since the start of the game.
If you're town, then there must be scum on your wagon. You should take a look at who's pushing you and build a case around that. (see: rezombied)
Even though you're the largest poster in the thread most of the your posts have been short one-liners. I want you to actually do things.
I'm actually not that suspicious of rez. His behaviuor around voting me imo was just him coming to the game, seeing a post he didn't like and jumping on it.
If there is scum on my wagon it is most likely to be OddiGem imo.

Read his inconsistent stance on naked voting RVS votes.
In survival horror I had your meta knowledge to go on when I made that proclamation. As far as I know burning earth literally appeared on this earth this week solely to play in this game.
The first wagon might often be on a VI but that doesn't mean you always ignore the first wagon. I don't think there are any other strong candidates right now so my vote will stay where it is.

His post and my initial case.
What's wrong with one liners?
It looks like he was the only person to call out the "misrep" thing.
You may have a point though. I don't agree with your first three paragraphs but that last one has good points in it. I sort of ignored your post after reading half of it the first time through.

Whose stance is inconsistent?
rezombied's. Did you read my second post detailing his inconsistent stance on naked voting RVS votes?
If you think that's scummy, rezombied, then why are you doing it? Was your view on random voting w/out reasoning changed?
Loaded question, I did it because I wanted to. My view has changed, I'm still learning this game and invest more in actual analysis than arbitrary tells now.
You voted Megiddo late to get a reaction, and when that reaction came out, you labeled him as "touchy". What is your current read on Megiddo right now? Is your self-purported "touchiness" a sign of town or scum?
I thought it a little odd at the time, but I haven't seen any reason to suspect Megiddo since then.
Then why did you feel the need to say "I don't see what's up with the rezombied wagon" if you're not reading all the parts of the evidence against him?

Offering additional arguments to vote someone even when the case/evidence has proven itself adequate enough is scummy, because you want to appear as if you are not barning.

You're using more weasel words - do you equate "odd" to mean "very slightly scummish"?

But DCIII's case on me is based on my barning and not adding anything. Which is what I wanted a comment on.

It looks like he was the only person to call out the "misrep" thing.
My question to you now: Do you think Rez/BE is Scum/Town or Scum/Scum?
Look at the way he cased Blue Electric at the beginning of Futurama. It's much different in approach and gives more detail on his reasons with plenty of independent thought.
Odd iGem faceplamed in response to the "misrep" post from BE so he wasn't the only one to call it out, but even if we say that was one point that he added himself to the others, that really doesn't change the argument.

But DCIII's case on me is based on my barning and not adding anything. Which is what I wanted a comment on.
This is a strawman of my case. My case is that you jumped on the BE wagon because it was the easy wagon and that you did so by giving a bunch of one-liners that did not add anything new or meaningful to the case against him but tried to appear to do so. That you voted him to L-1 and even if what you're saying about not knowing that you voted him within quickhammer range was true, that you had to know that you were voting him into claim range and that you did so prior to several other players even being back from RVS. And that this approach is not at all consistent with the approach that you showed at the beginning of Futurama.
It's not simply that you just barned the BE case. Several other players after you just barned the case but did so just by saying that they agreed with the case and then didn't place their vote but indicated their intention to do so.

Then I saw this from DJ:
... and I looked up on the wiki to confirm that, yes, apparently a neighbor group is an unconfirmed mason group. I had always just called that an "unconfirmed mason group."
