TMCT's #54 is a massive misrepresentation of AE's line of thought. I don't know what to think about this. Watching TMCT closely.
Zionite's #83 is terrible. "I don't care about the consequences of you vigging Meg, Iso, just do it. No, really. Waste your one-shot on Meg instead of on the claimed miller, that's certainly the bestest idea ever."
I don't get why Iso would shoot Meg instead of the claimed miller, but he's probably lying, so whatever. Zio's reaction was worth the gambit.

I don't really care what happens to Megiddo. Maybe Iso is 100% correct. So I'm not about to stick my neck out to stop Meg from being killed for no reason whatsoever. If Iso shoots wrong, that's on him.
In mostly unrelated news, Guardman's last post sucks. Xyre may be misguided, but his intentions seem pure, and his opposition to my claiming my role flavor, based upon Megiddo requesting it, is consistent with his anti-Megiddo mindset in a pro-town way. The rest of Guardman's post is just regurgitation.
I have a feeling if I posted a cure for cancer you would say it would put the poor pharmaceutical company out of business. A bit hyperbolic, I know, but you are becoming a broken record where everything I post is horrible.
A) Because I didn't think it mattered B) I agree with Cyan's characterization. Why don't you respond to his point (e.g. by showing how you've been helping) rather than deflecting.
JFC people. I'm not waving my arms around, shouting, 'LOOK AT ME, I HAVE A DAYKILL!' I determined my method of using my ability was the most effective and I wanted everyone's input on who to kill. If you guys want me to take my ball home and use it in my yard, then I will.

Cyan, since you commented on it, I presume you are not interested in divulging anything about your flavor?
Maybe you can explain why you are so interested in knowing about it?
because what you've claimed doesn't sit right with me. A miller role is already bastardly to begin with on some level. A role that is a miller but doesn't know it is next-level bastardly.
Is there precedent for hidden facets to roles in DYH games? I don't remember seeing any when I was reading through the previous amistarian games. So you claiming that you think you have one raises a flag.
It's unusual on multiple levels, gameplay and game design, and I am interested in knowing more. As xyre stated there may be risks, so this isn't really more than curiosity, but I personally want to see what role PM would make somebody think that they are a miller without being told so explicitly.
Allowing everybody to dissect what you're seeing would enable us to make more intelligent lynch and vig choices as well.
Anyway. It is a suggestion to maybe give us something to work with.

Can we have Megiddo removed from the forum forever please?
i'm pretty sure i can find your ***** online within 3 minutes
I went and had dinner at Macaroni Grill and thought about it and I am willing to give Cyan the benefit of the doubt on the whole miller thing. Miller's should come clean in the first post even if it is only suspected.
I am more concerned about the reactions and quick votes on him (except for kpaca's which I expected).
But more than that I don't like AE's questioning and voting so far.
AE why did you pick kpaca rather than Zionite or Seppel. Especially since you in your post make reference to wanting to vig Cyan and that you seem to have a problem with Zionites vote and him calling it a gambit.
Vote AE
is pretty bad. This definitely reads like someone who is trying too hard. I particularly don't like the "I went to dinner and thought it over" part.
So, yeah, let's go this way:

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.

Well, now you know how I feel. I honestly expected DYH to either tell me that I am a Miller, or, tell me that I'm not one, when I asked him about it. I feel like his answer is indirectly indicative of me being a Miller(because otherwise he is essentially just trolling me, which is pretty disappointing). I don't think that it would be beneficial for me to say more on the subject.
Because there's almost no benefit and a potential for serious risk.
Don't see any risk in it what so ever. Odds are sooner or later he's dead.
You have no way of knowing, though. Maybe the mafia have a flavor hint that suggests there's a power role with a particular characteristic, and Cyan claims his flavor and oh look he's the doc and that's the end of his life. And that's exactly what a good mod would do to mitigate the risk of something like a mass rolename claim.
That, plus the lack of any real benefit to doing it, plus the fact I think Megiddo is scummy, all add up to "this is a bad idea".
That's a big 'what if'. What do you think will happen first. Cyan gets to claim range at some point in the game? Or he gets taking out by a vig? Look at AI's qoute below. Then Cyans'.
So, Condoms/Cyan as bussing scumbuddies? The degree of hostility going on here seems a bit over the top for what's actually happened. Which is nothing.
I also think Iso is just blowing smoke (again) and it feels like he does something like this every game he ever plays. Which is a bit tiresome. The whole "fake-daykill" thing period is a bit tiresome. I wish people wouldn't do it anymore.

One game I know immediately had hidden millers was Sin City Mafia, which had the townie mason miller traitors. I also had a hidden miller in at least one of my games (Greenwood Affair, aka the one that didn't happen dammit).
FTQ Games
Hats Mafia - none
The Fiasco Corporation - hidden miller
Doomsday Mafia - hidden miller, I think, though the PMs are hard to read
Amistarian Mafia I - none
VR Salvation Mafia - known miller
Tales of the Fantastic Mafia - none
Ghost Town Mafia - a death miller, but no, uh, life-millers
The Asphodel Meadows - a death-framer, but no millers
Goo Mafia - none
GHS Mafia - none, I think?
Hecatea Mafia - none, I think
Hetalia Mafia - none
Cyan's Impossible Mafia - known miller
Chosen Mafia - none
Ozone Underground - none
Kill Bill Mafia - none
Ataghan Mafia - don't think so
Specialty Games
Sin City Mafia - hidden millers
Star Trek Mafia - ambiguous (a pseudo-cop role gets misleading results from certain players)
Court Mafia - none (though a mechanic in this game does make some roles give occasional misleading results)
Blood Moon Mafia - hidden miller
Matrix Mafia - none
24 Mafia - none
Points Mafia - players can willingly become known millers to gain advantages
FF7 Mafia - hidden miller
Harry Potter Mafia - hidden miller
Rax's Star Trek Mafia - none
Inheritance Mafia - no idea; PMs are scattered around and I'm too lazy to check, but I don't think there's a miller, iirc
Sword of Truth Mafia - known miller
Manipulator Mafia - none
Doha Mafia - none
FF Mafia - none
Star Trek Myriad Universes II - known millers
Seasons Mafia - none
Magical Girl Mafia - none
Cyberspace Mafia - none
Legend of Lucian Mafia - none
I skipped games where the setup is gone/in too many pieces to assemble.
For FTQs, the count is even - 2 vs 2. For Specialties, there are 4 games with hidden millers and 2 with known millers. But it does seem like known millers have become more frequent over time, which I did not know. (Frankly, I think known millers are stupid, because a miller will always claim in his/her first post, but there ya go.)

I have no idea, I don't know anything about the setup. All I know is there's little apparent benefit and a potential for serious risk, and I'm not keen on taking on that risk without a more concrete, more significant benefit. I don't know how many times I need to repeat this.

It has nothing to do with the setup. It has to do with Cyan as a player, and a miller role. So, what is more likely to happen first? Cyan getting rung up or a vig firing at a miller?

Miller is a dumb role in entirety. But making it unknown is just a complete middle finger to the town. The purpose of the game is entertainment, and hidden millers are right above jesters in terms of entertaining roles.
Whats the purpose of a hidden miller. Sounds senseless to me.
Balancing a strong role, weakening a cop, or for flavor. For example, in TFC, Agent Orange was a role meant to play aggressively, investigating roles and then killing them himself; he also had protection from several destabilizing elements. I made him a miller in part to suit his flavor (as a corporate spy/assassin), partly to mitigate some of the risk of him being too prominent, and partly to generally reduce his strength.
I don't really care what happens to Megiddo. Maybe Iso is 100% correct. So I'm not about to stick my neck out to stop Meg from being killed for no reason whatsoever. If Iso shoots wrong, that's on him.
Oh, so if he shoots wrong he's the one to be solely blamed despite the people (coughlikeyoucough) motivating him to do so?

Thoughts on Xyre?

FTQ Games
The Fiasco Corporation - hidden miller
Doomsday Mafia - hidden miller, I think, though the PMs are hard to read
Amistarian Mafia I - none
VR Salvation Mafia - known miller
Tales of the Fantastic Mafia - none
Ghost Town Mafia - a death miller, but no, uh, life-millers
The Asphodel Meadows - a death-framer, but no millers
Goo Mafia - none
GHS Mafia - none, I think?
Hecatea Mafia - none, I think
Hetalia Mafia - none
Cyan's Impossible Mafia - known miller
Chosen Mafia - none
Ozone Underground - none
Kill Bill Mafia - none
Ataghan Mafia - don't think so
Star Trek Mafia - ambiguous (a pseudo-cop role gets misleading results from certain players)
Court Mafia - none (though a mechanic in this game does make some roles give occasional misleading results)
Blood Moon Mafia - hidden miller
Matrix Mafia - none
24 Mafia - none
Points Mafia - players can willingly become known millers to gain advantages
FF7 Mafia - hidden miller
Harry Potter Mafia - hidden miller
Rax's Star Trek Mafia - none
Inheritance Mafia - no idea; PMs are scattered around and I'm too lazy to check, but I don't think there's a miller, iirc
Sword of Truth Mafia - known miller
Manipulator Mafia - none
Doha Mafia - none
FF Mafia - none
Star Trek Myriad Universes II - known millers
Seasons Mafia - none
Magical Girl Mafia - none
Cyberspace Mafia - none
Legend of Lucian Mafia - none
For FTQs, the count is even - 2 vs 2. For Specialties, there are 4 games with hidden millers and 2 with known millers. But it does seem like known millers have become more frequent over time, which I did not know. (Frankly, I think known millers are stupid, because a miller will always claim in his/her first post, but there ya go.)
Experiments Series: #5 (Courtly Intrigue Mafia) | #4 (Drunken Tracker) | #3 (Big Red Button) - coming soon | #2 (Pope Mafia) | #1 (Iso's Inflammable Mafia)
Mini Games: MTGS Mafia Redux II (Invitational, Evil Mirror Universe) | Unreal City
Old Games (bad): The Greenwood Affair | Blood Moon Mafia
Who cares.
Shoot cyan.
This game is fun.

I have no idea, I don't know anything about the setup. All I know is there's little apparent benefit and a potential for serious risk, and I'm not keen on taking on that risk without a more concrete, more significant benefit. I don't know how many times I need to repeat this.

Put xyre on the town list, as well as guardman.
Wanna see more from Axel.
It has nothing to do with the setup. It has to do with Cyan as a player, and a miller role. So, what is more likely to happen first? Cyan getting rung up or a vig firing at a miller?
They hate us cause they ain't us.
Miller is a dumb role in entirety. But making it unknown is just a complete middle finger to the town. The purpose of the game is entertainment, and hidden millers are right above jesters in terms of entertaining roles.

Oh, so if he shoots wrong he's the one to be solely blamed despite the people (coughlikeyoucough) motivating him to do so?
*Takes note*
So you'd be ok with Iso shooting anyone right now?

I'm pretty sure about 90% or more of your reads are switched in this game.
That is, of course, based on my reads.
