Now that the entire show is on netflix I finally got to watch the last two and a half seasons. I'm going to jump on the same train as everyone here. There's really nothing redeeming about them and the way the show ended was terrible. I hate it when shows start out so good and fail at the end. I understand the need for a money grab but I think keeping the integrity of the show intact is more important.
If I had my way it would have gone...
Season 5 as the Travis Marshal season with all the religious stuff. There could have been a lot to explore there as Dexter is questioning the idea of a higher power right after Rita's death. Then season six is a lot of Deb coming to terms with what Dex is and what to do and ultimately taking him down herself and NOT killing LaGuerta as that is more in keeping with the character. All while not having the stupid as **** "Deb is in love with her brother" crap.
Also, and this is just a nitpick regarding season 8, if real Dexter would be a sociopath, not a psychopath.
If you haven't watched the last few seasons of Dexter and you're on the fence don't bother!
Everyone talks about how good this show is. tried it, but it just wasn't doing it for me. I gave it a good chance too, and watched a good 5-6 episodes before giving up. Just seemed so corny to me. I just can't do it.

Not just the Tendo King, the power of the Galactic Leyline surpasses that of the Tempa Emperor, No!, It's magnificent power is even greater than that!
I was done.
The show turned to absolute crap though mid way season 6, and was already doomed with season 5.
It was just a money grab.
