yeah lol, breaking bad is the best show on television right now!
walt is just a criminal now...killing someone in cold blood, was shocked when that happened
hope more gus stuff is shown
my bro thinks jesse will die but you really don't know, it's breaking bad!
Don't forget that Walt already killed the guy in Jesse's basement and melted his body in the bathtub upstairs after he chopped it into manageable pieces. This time around it seems a lot different, but it's definitely not the first time he has killed.
So, up until this last week, the previews kept saying, "Only 3 episodes left!" and "Only 2 episodes left!" But this week the preview referred to this Sunday's episode as the Season Finale and not the Series Finale. Is the show over this weekend? If so, who dies? And if not, what possible outcome could generate a Season 4?
I don't know who, if anyone will die. I know that Walt blew the crap out of Tuco's place early on and if Gus seems like a big enough threat, I wouldn't be surprised to see Walt go after him too.
I also wonder more and more about the two guys that work directly for Gus. His cleaner and his body guard both seem that have been working their way into the show more.

this time it was totally different though, in season 1 there was clear reason why they needed to die...this time though it was just a defenseless guy murdered in cold blood, the furthest i think walt has gone.

Defenseless? They had guns aimed at Jesse and had Walt not shot him, he would either kill him or Gus would. I would say it was as important to kill him as the first guy in Season 1. In season 1, Walt was in danger. Now, if he didn't kill him, EVERYONE is in danger from Walt all the way down to his children.
Well it is almost time to enjoy brand new Breaking Bad it returns this coming Sunday the 17th on AMC.
I am personally stoked to see one of the best shows on TV return.
I am 10 minutes into S4E1 and it occurred to me that this damn show makes me way too nervous for my own good. Instead of being entertaining it's almost like a chore now.... Still love it though!
Yep. Maybe I'll actually see the next one live this Sunday. I've never seen the live on TV :P.
Yeah, I wasn't too sure myself. Either because he messed up (didn't get there in time, let it happen, etc, somehow it was his responsibility) or because he just wanted to show Walt that he is in charge, or big boss badass (which seems pretty dumb, since they were about to kill him, I think he knows that)? That or they just felt like sensationalizing it. Walt wouldn't stfu during that part either. From badass murderer to soft chatty old man, meanwhile Jesse is going to take his role. Hmmm. I guess the whole killing an (mostly) innocent person (that he knew) in cold blood finally got to him. Wouldn't have expected it, since he acts like a total psycho sometimes (you know what I mean, when he flips out and looks like he should be put in a psych ward). Maybe he's just realizing that he ruined Jesse and feels bad about it.
I have stopped watching after season 3. It is still a fantastic show with great actors all around but when you have family that currently has issues with meth, it is just a bit too much reality for me. I watch TV and films primarily for the escapist entertainment and have seen plenty of real life examples of what drugs will do to people.

I don't have family issues and it was hard for me to start up Season 4. After getting so emotionally invested in Walt and Jesse and knowing that there is no way it can end well for anyone... who wants to watch TV to stress them out? But, S4 started well and they bought themselves some time. I'm not sure how loyal to the show I will be if they knock off one of the main character though.
I like the fact that the show seems to be willing to kill off main characters or at least hurt them bad. I mean too many shows get into this whole "main character has god mode enabled" **** that really brings down the realistic tone.
This show keeps realism very high as each main character has to deal with a lot of consequences for their actions.
Last night's episode was very good and now that we know that this isn't the last season I don't think they will knock off either Walt or Jesse this season.

I had read somewhere that this current season was the last. So I'm actually pretty happy to get a further 16 episodes. But yeah, it is too bad for this show to end.

I think 5 seasons is a good number, and enough to round off the show nicely; especially with all the hints that are being dropped by the writers - if I'm reading into them properly that is - these last two seasons should well and truly be enough without having to add any new characters or invent more story arcs. The future relationships between Walt, Skyler, Hank especially as well as Jesse and Gus is going to be interesting to watch.
We don't want to become tired of the show. Mad Men is going to 7 seasons I believe and that's a huge stretch considering season 5 doesn't begin until the middle of next year...
Breaking Bad is supposed to be a show about how Walt turns into this bad person at the end of the series. Walt can't really get any worse than he already is can he?
Seriously this is horrible news the seasons are shorter then the average TV show so this is a kick in the nuts.
I want a satisfying ending if this is the case then they better bust out all the stops next season.
well if it's a realistic ending, it can only end one of three ways for a meth cooker: dead, prison, or walk away. With the last option being very unlikely. Don't see a lot of really old meth cookers (the ones that are working for organized crime maybe).
Oh man, this show, I just caught up to episode 6 of season 4 and am absolutely loving it. Season 3's ending was something else, almost to much for me actually, and there were so many episodes where I walked away from them with a "holy **** that was amazing" attitude that even I was surprised.
This is definitely the best T.V. series I have watched for as long as I can remember.
As far as 5th season goes, I do not know. It really seems like they could end it well this season without a need for another one but hopefully they do it well.
Now we are getting somewhere. Last nights episode really helped flesh out Gus. That last scene was incredibly wrenching especially with how long they had the camera fixated on that one particular shot.
I have this feeling that Gus is going to be exposed for what he is or is going to be killed out right very soon. I have a strange, strange feeling that Hank is going to get himself killed as well for pursuing Gus like this.
The scene where Walt and Hank are sitting at the parking lot of Los Pollos Hermanos and Mike pulls up was very tense, even more so when he walks into the restaurant to confront Gus about the tracking device.
Oh and Jessie, it seems like he is turning his back on Walt. Their relationship is becoming very shaky and it looks like Jessie is really getting tricked into helping Gus.
Anyways a huge amount of developments this episode, I cannot wait for next Sunday.

Can anyone explain why Gus killed off Victor though? I am pretty sure that guy's name was Victor.
