I really don't like AJ ditching the loner gimik or joining MEM I hope they come out with a "he was paid" to do it kind of storyline instead of just killing some 18 or so months of character development for AJ that was making him interesting as a character for the first time in his career.
With the way they've been booking this whole BFG series, I'm actually really excited. I am planning on going to Impact next week in Cleveland but now I only wish I could get ringside seats.
My source from BTW Wrestling tells me that the seats are free. You just need to get there early enough...
Devon's contract was up (again), and TNA had no interest in resigning him for anything but a pittance and Devon had no interest in taking a huge pay cut. So yeah, Devon is legit gone and not coming back. Most of the people in Aces & Eights, except Bubba, have their contracts up soon. So you may see an implosion of the stable as they get "fired".
Yeah I assumed that the big guy with the beard was gonna lose. I think his name is Mike Knox but I'm not sure. It's disappointing to hear that Devon is leaving TNA. I've really enjoyed him through out his career.
I gotta admit that I jumped off the couch when AJ's music switched. I was very surprised when Austin Aeries jumped Christopher Daniels and then didn't join the MEM. I'm glad he didn't because he is so much more interesting doing his own thing.
Guess it pays to have multiple girls with the same name in the company! Oophs we fired one so we gotta write the other one in. Thankfully, she is a lot more attractive than the other one!

Little angel, go away come again some other day the Devil has my ear today I'll never hear a word you say. He promised I would find a little solace and some peace of mind. Whatever. just as long as I don't feel so desperate and ravenous.
I'd much rather just pay an extra $20 for good tickets rather than take a vacation day to get there early enough.
Yeah, TNA is not as good as WWE when it comes to fan base. The promoters of TNA do something, but what something might be is beyond me. Such huge names in a company that does next to nothing... It's a shame really. But, the writers have something going for TNA.
Speaking of the "firing" of TNA Wrestlers is actually going to be beneficial to TNA because their roster is too big at the moment. Going back to what I mentioned above: A lot of big name Wrestlers with not enough TV time to get anything accomplished. The "firing" of A&8's will probably do the show some good, IMO.
Well, he'll probably come out and say, "He realizes you need friends in the BFG." So 3 MEM in the BFG is "guaranteeing" one of them in the final match.
I was really surprised at the reception he got on Thursday. Going through the night, I figured I would be one of the few that would cheer for A double, much like when I would cheer for Bad Influence (these guys are amazing heels) and Roode. He came out and got almost as good of a response as AJ did.
Of course they could actually just continue to push Magnus too. He's not as good as either AJ or A double, but I'm sure if they gave him time and rammed him down everyone's throat we'd have another face.
I'm kind of glad about the flip flop with AJ and the promo that he cut. I wish I could have heard it live rather than having to watch it on TV when I got home. I like that his character is inconsistent based on "his whims" now.
I actually can't wait til No Surrender. It was actually very hard to cheer for someone on this week's Impact taping because the final four had 3.5 guys that I'd cheer for. Same with the Gauntlet match. It was tough to cheer through that match, although I think at some point we had a pretty strong Appletini chant going. The No Surrender BFG matches are going to be incredible.
As for Sting challenging for the title and all that, I wonder if Hogan has just been phoning it in for the past forever. His promos are all terrible and getting consistently worse. He continues to botch things in the promos, like Sting for the title and the whole "No surrender you will face someone from aces of eights" and probably the other dozen botched wrestlers names he's thrown out that I actually just can't remember. Each week he looks more and more like he's just doing a Mick Foley crowd pandering with some terrible promo injected in.
I actually like the idea of Joseph Park. It allows him to job to people without ruining the monster angle of Abyss.
You're right about A double. He's pretty much the sole reason I got back into TNA last year. When he had his X division reign and subsequent cash in, man I was sold on TNA again. Until that point, I hadn't watched TNA since they changed to a 4 sided ring.
No Surrender has potential, but I'm equally excited about NOC. Ziggler vs Ambrose, Punk vs Axel/Heyman and Bryan are all selling points for me. But then again I think only the BFG matches and
2) am I the only one that he's tired of Joseph Park and wants Abyss back?
Did I miss something here? I remembered Abyss coming back at the last PPV, in place of Joseph Parks, because Parks was attacked back stage. Abyss then beat Devon for the TV Championship.
Is Ziggler vs Ambrose at Noc official? If it is, i'm praying for at last a pinfall victory of Ambrose (i'm still disappointed with the RVD-Ambrose match, which I had many expectations on and never ended.)
Good show last night. The Aries/Styles match took a bit to get going, and there seemed to be a few miscues early...when the match got going though...AWESOME! Bully n Anderson was a lot better than I thought it would be. AJ n Magnus was ok, you can tell they were giving AJ his big push. Honestly they need that 2nd singles title that people can push for (x div doesn't count). I could see a US Title.
I was pissed about this impact, but it wasn't because of anything regarding the show.
There was this major storm in my area last night and it resulted in my satellite going out for the AJ/Aries match (the only one I really cared to see) and clipped the same amount of time out of my recording of the series finale of Burn Notice. I was rather upset.
As far as the matches go, I really liked the Last Man Standing match. Bully is an incredible heel. The BFG ending was kind of predictable, but it's cool to see AJ back doing things. Kind of lame that Los Stereotypicos are going to attempt to get back into the tag title picture. I liked the BFG series for the fact that they weren't a thing while Hernandez was in it. If there's anyone that should be in the title picture there, it should be Bad Influence.
After last nights TNA ending all I can say is wow...I mean really? Come on TNA AJ Styles doesn't not drop "pipe bombs" like CM Punk and he sure as hell isn't Daniel Bryan, and Dixie SURE AS HELL isn't Triple H or Vince McMahon, hell she wouldn't even be a good Stephanie.
This much copy/paste from a WWE storyline, especially the dominate storyline is professional wrestling right now, is just sad and frankly could of been so much better if they just kept AJ Styles as the brooding guy that he had been who didn't give a damn about anyone else.
I mean really he went from "I care about money and no one else" to "what happened to that brand of brothers that build this place with me" damn near over night. God TNA had a great thing going for AJ and now they have completely screwed it to hell and back >.<
Yeah the confrontation between AJ and Dixie was just really bad. I liked what AJ said about wrestlers coming for a vacation in TNA and letting guys that helped put TNA on the map go. Maybe it would have sounded better coming from the "brooding" AJ but either way it needed to be said. Its sad to see what TNA has become since Hogan came in and changed everything to the more traditional style of wrestling. They have let so much young talent leave to push old WWE guys. TNA needs to get rid of Hogan and focus on the stars they've had all along. Some of those guys could most of the WWE locker room to shame.

If Hogan is off camera and works in the background, then it's fine. The guy has a lot of knowledge that the young superstars can learn from. TNA is slowly losing my interest sadly. When they copy WWE storylines from last year, then it's time to fire the writers and get some new blood in there.
This is probably just a product of me watching a ton of youtube videos recently. I would LOVE to TNA to reach out to Shelton Benjamin. Bring him in and work with Kenny King. King is insane athletically, but makes a ton of mistakes. Plus Shelton would get a ton of pop from the crowds.

I'm hoping that they leave some of his loner character in there because that was a great character for AJ to run with.
This match is near guarntedd awesomeness regardless of who wins this match. I sure hope they clash again
Love the AJ flip flop on MEM. He's kind of a tweener again.
How can Sting wrestle for the World Title again?
BFG is great, and they are going to end it with AJ winning this gauntlet match.

Hogan screwed up, if you check it's already been declared a non-title match between the two.

Wrong thread.
And, no, it's not offical.
