Yeah, utterly lost for words. I guess that's what happens when you enter a World Cup semifinal match with absolutely no tactic scheme whatsoever.
I'm obviously quite sad, but I guess this only serves to further prove that it will be hard for another World Cup to surpass this one in terms of purely incredible moments.
Almost fell asleep during this match. It's quite the snorefest. I'm counting one opportunity for the Netherlands (Robben's, around 90 minutes) and one for Argentina (Messi's short-range free kick). Disappointing game, I hope Germany beats whichever team that advances.
And there we have it, Argentina win on penalties and face Germany in the final.
I feel pretty smart right now, because I predicted this final before the world cup I had Germany winning 1-0 over Argentina in the final and Brazil winning the 3rd place playoff, and all of this can still happen...
Go Germany as I have kind of adopted a rooting interest for the team that only beat us (USA) 1-0 and our coach and half the team are from. Looking for a decisive 2-0 win for "The Machine". Oh and Özil is the man, he'll show the doubters by putting at least one of them in.

EDIT: Sorry for the double-post the site has been acting up me the past couple days on whether posts are going through or not.
I will be rooting for Germany if only because Argentina has been boring me to tears, which, with Cavani, Messi and Aguero I find hard to believe. Sad to see Holland go out like that though.
By Cavani (Uruguay) I think you meant Higuain. Yes, I agree with all the loaded offense Argentina had going into the tournament... They have looked enough to get by and that's it. However a "questionable" back four going in has looked organized.

Cavani is from Uruguay. They do have Di Maria in addition to Messi and Aguero, but he's currently injured. I believe Aguero is also not 100%, which is why he hasn't started the past couple games.
The vast majority of Brazilians would call me a traitor, but I'll be firmly rooting for Argentina. All of the World Cups held in the American continent have been won by American teams, and I'm not looking forward to having that slip away. Plus, I don't want to see Messi retire without a World Cup on his resumé. He is certainly one of the most incredible players I've seen in my entire life. I do think he deserves to be regarded in the future as highly as Maradona is today, and I feel a WC win would 100% cement that.
And yeah, there's the third-place match too. I hope we don't embarass ourselves yet again, even if we lose. It shouldn't be hard, either: just enter the pitch wanting to play a damn match instead of running around like a bunch of overexcited chickens.
If the store owner says that I can't trade in the premises, I'll just go outside. If he says that I can't trade within 10m of his premises, I'll go to 11 meters. If he says that he doesn't want to see me trading, I will put a basket over his head and continue trading.
Yes, he's a local legend. He's only known to take his clothes off before he goes into the Ladies' Lockerroom. Nobody knows what he does in there because he's invisible, but it's almost certainly tons of masturbating.

The Netherlands V Argentina was a bore. When both teams play NOT TO LOSE and won't budge from that style, it is disappointing. Netherlands only has themselves to blame. An aggressive team like that should have pushed forward the entire match and they didn't do that.
When it comes down to kicks, anything can happen.
Personally I am happy, the Dutch scare me as a German fan. I was hoping for Argentina as I believe we can penetrate their defense better while also containing Messi.
The Oranje already said they don't care about the game, but even still, they managed to humiliate Brazil. Again. I've never seen an announcer rip into a team so hard.
This is actually good news for Brazil and other poor countries. DON'T bankrupt your country for a game. The problem in these non-democratic countries is that one or two people get a stupid idea in their head and no on is head accountable. The USA can AFFORD to hold the World Cup, there are checks and balances and it was considered a success. This World cup for Brazil could only be successful on the field and that's where everyone pegged their high hopes. I'm happy they were crushed. Reality might be a deterrent for other poor countries.
Sadly this travesty is going to be repeated (again) in Russia.
I know everyone is on the Germany bandwagon (just like everyone was on the Brazil one), but I like Argentina and the only gentleman left in the sport, Messi.
Ah, so it's over. Gotta feel sorry for Argentina for losing in the last few minutes, and especially gotta feel sorry for Messi; getting that award when his team lost must have been hard on him, not to mention several people are not sure if he should get that.
Well, off to 2018, I guess. Which I suspect would be won by another European if the climate is anything to go by

Fingers crossed!

Frankly, it doesn't particularly seem like you know what you're talking about.

If were going to play that game. I suggest to you that virtually every country is corrupt, some more than others, but every government is dirty.
Back on topic, the game has been quite dull unfortunately. Perhaps a by product of Argentinian play? Perhaps a Germany can't get set up
The game was awesome and stressful to watch, and the Gotze goal was a thing of beauty.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it....
Argentina performed well to get to the final too. Great World Cup!
