Dear kbx41,
You have received a warning at MTG Salvation Forums.
Reason:
-------
Flaming or Other Forms of Misbehavior
Saying that you sometimes wish people (in this case the implication is the staff) would fall down a well and get AIDS is hardly appropriate for the forum.
NFL: New England Patriots (not just a bandwagon fan either. Have watched just about every game since I was 11 years old in 1994 -- I bleed Pats blue, this is definitely my #1 team overall). MLB: Boston Red Sox - I used to be more of a fan of baseball than I am now, so I will follow how they do these days and thats about it. NBA: Boston Celtics - I will watch a game here and there and really follow them on playoff runs. NHL: Boston Bruins - Watch less than Celtics in general, but definitely jump on the bandwagon come playoff time. NASCAR: Kyle Busch #18 - Have really become a fan of this sport over the past three seasons and this is my guy all the way. Probably tied for my second favorite sport behind football. International Soccer (football): Team USA - Tied as my second favorite sport behind American football. I root for the Americans, but follow all Nation vs. Nation soccer, every match. My blog that follows all matchs is here http://21stcenturysoccerrank.blogspot.com/ (I just started January 1st, 2012). I also have my own formula for my own rankings which is updated every month (Spain is #1 right now of course).
I generally like sports that don't have a game every night so I don't have to set my life aside everyday and watch, that is why I like the NFL, NASCAR, and International Soccer the best. This also why I love March Madness (once a year) and the Olympics (every two years) so much.
American Football: Patriots then Steelers
Football: Chelsea FC and German National Team
Lacrosse: Long Island Lizards
Baseball, Basketball, Hockey: None, don't watch em.
Baseball: the New York Yankees. Before any comments, I've been a fan since the late '70's, when I was but a wee colossus.
Football: the New York Jets. I have to root for one team that forever lets me down. Why not in football, since it's only 16 games' worth of agony?
Hockey: the New Jersey Devils. I didn't watch much hockey when I was a kid, then it went to cable, which we didn't get until the early '90's. I chose the Devils mostly because of the name. Little did I know they were on the verge of bringing Marty into the mix. I also support the Islanders, as I have a lot of friends who are fans of theirs.
Basketball: To be honest, I haven't been able to get into NYC area basketball. The Knicks have been boring since the mid-'90's, and the Nets haven't been able to get their act together. However, now that the Nets are in Brooklyn, I'm going to try again.
I watch other sports, but not enough to care about teams.

Why do I like posting in lists:
1. It allows me to express multiple thoughts without a need to write an essay or make multiple posts. 2. I tend to have multiple thoughts at the same time. 3. Having the right first opinion is sometimes more glorious than having a grammatically correct second opinion. 4. It allows you as a reader to pick out the most erroneous point and counter-comment, allowing you the chance to express an opinion and look like a sensible person when I sound like a dummy.
MLB : Atlanta Braves
NFL : Atlanta Falcons
NBA : Miami Heat
College : Alabama (ROLL TIDE!) I generally like SEC football in general though.

I was raised the first fifteen years of my life in Latrobe, PA, (a suburb of Pittsburgh) so my teams reflect that a great deal.
NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins (the Islanders lucked out earlier tonight)
MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates (the Cutch will bring us home the pennant next year)
European Football: never got into soccer.
College (all sports): University of Pittsburgh
NBA: when I was a child I liked the Philadelphia 76ers. When Lebron James started playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers I was stationed near Cleveland and fell in love with the team. I can not get into basketball anymore these days unless I'm playing myself though. I even try, but my interest in watching the sport is just not there anymore. Lebron broke my heart.
Being a Pittsburgh sports fan is not always the greatest thing to be. The Pens and Steelers are generally good at least. The Pirates usually make me sad, but I've watched every Pirates game every season I have been able to in memory. Luckily the franchise has turned around.
Living in Ohio, being a Steelers fan is pretty lame at times because of the Bengals-Browns fans hatred towards Steelers fans. Especially in years like this year, (though they are few and far between for my Steelers).

I gotta say... you are right. As one of those Bengals fans, I'm loving every minute of the Steelers misfortunes this year because I don't know when it will happen again; I'm basking it in now.
However, you also have quite a bit of Steelers fans in the state as well.
I lived in Cleveland for about 5-years, so I would often go to BW3's to enjoy my football, and there was almost always a 50-50 mix of Browns jerseys and Steelers jerseys. And ya know, the Bengals/Browns hatred towards the Steelers has a lot to do with jealousy and envy.
