Ok, I heard a prose piece in the last month read on the radio, but I cannot find it for the life of me.
It was a dialogue between a man and a woman, and the man was the narrator I believe. At one point, the man asks the woman if she ever hears music in her head, to which the woman replies that she does all the time, and talks about how beautiful it is.
I feel like I have to find this work, but I have no idea where it is. This is a long shot, but does it ring a bell for anyone?
It sounds like it could've come from a variety of NPR programs like This American Life, Unfictional or Radio Lab. It's a stretch, but it's a start. I have emailed all three of these programs about content before and if you can give them an approximate air date the may be able to pinpoint what you heard.
Did you hear it on an NPR affiliate or your local public radio station?
