I should see if EA will refund me for Battlefield 4.
I'm not sure why you think you deserve a refund. The product was not defective. You played it to completion. What's done is done. Move on. Is it really worth getting worked up about over $50?
That game you might have more grounds on as I think there is still major bug issues that prevent some players from playing the game correctly.

Very true. Luckily, mine worked fine from the start and never had any major issues. Just minor bugs here and there. EA loves its money though.
EULA does not necessarily overwrite existing right of return laws, Highroller.
Which right of return law? Do you know of a law that says he's entitled to a refund?
The one I linked: article six of the EU consumer law.
That's the thing. If the OP were to say, "Based on this portion of the return policy, I am entitled to a refund," or something along those lines, I would side with him.
But he's not making that argument. And the arguments he is making are completely bogus. He's saying Blizzard is bad because they won't give him a full refund because he played through the game and didn't like it (which is ), and because they looked up his account and found out he had beaten Malthael, which he actually accuses them of spying by doing this despite the fact that it's in their database, and is readily accessible information to anyone on Battle.net.
I won't argue with what you're saying here, but it's more nuanced than just "you're wrong".

Ok, but you don't know he lives in Europe, or how long he's owned the game. I know it took me longer than seven days to get to level 50.

Except the arguments the OP is making are wrong.
There may actually be a provision in which he is entitled to a refund, but that does not mean the reasons he cites for being entitled to a refund are correct.
Lots of people are shocked that the OP expects a refund, I'm more shocked that he didn't know that Blizzard was keeping track of his progress. Was the giant flash of light and huge icon that popped up whenever you completed a milestone not a big enough hint? That stuff gets recorded in a database so you and others can see it, I'm having a hard time believing that this surprises you.
That was literally my exact thought when I read the OP's post.
I picked up Reaper of Souls, after hating D3 vanilla, just to give it a try and see if it's any better. Adventure mode really saved that game, and made it actually enjoyable to grind through. It's not Diablo 2, but it's still got plenty of replay value left in it for me.

I know some people still cant get the game to work or when certain conditions in a map are reached they crash or the FPS drops to single digits on high end cards. Might not get a full refund but might get credit towards something else for your inconvenience.
Now I wouldn't blame you for never buying Blizzard products again for them killing off the World of Warcraft TCG for Hearthstone as an online exclusive card game but THIS, well I'm not sure what to say about that considering that I've never played any of the Diablo games on the PC but I've heard numerous complaints about it online especially on this thread.
