So, I picked this up for 25 bucks at a second hand market (Charger not pictured but definitely included):
There's some games I'm getting in the mail (Pokemon Emerald, Zelda: Link to the Past and Golden Sun, to be precise), but these were available with the vendor I got the GBA at.
The sad thing is that I already spent more hours on it then I ever did on my 3DS. As far as handheld and on-the-move gaming goes, the 3DS (As well as the PSV, normal DS and PSP) all feel too clunky for me, with most of their titles not travel-appropriate enough (Exceptions are there, naturally, but yeah). This little marvel of technology is far easier to stuff in your pocket and carry along, flip it open for a few minutes and then back shut, perfect.
Anyone else still got their "retro" systems kicking? I kinda do miss the simplicity of the SNES-era, where your fantasy played a bigger role in building the world instead of fancy graphics. The GBA does a marvelous job at recapturing that (Does help that a lot of GBA games are Snes ports, but oh well).

My Commander decks:
Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
I never did quite like the look of Minish Cap...giant Chu Chu Boss? Holding off on that one. Never touched a Megaman game before.
What was the Metroid again, I recall a storyline about Samus' suit getting infected? Knew I forgot a kickass franchise.

I do indeed have my retro systems kicking. In fact, I've been on a WiiPoint binge as of late with my Nintendo Wii, grabbing a bunch of games that I don't have systems for on Virtual Console.
I'm actually not the hugest fan of Minish Cap. It's got a fairly short main storyline, with only 6 Dungeons including the Final Boss Castle. The rest of the game's length is made up of annoying sidequests, almost exclusively using "Kinstone Fusions".
If you want to play some Gameboy Zeldas, assuming this Advance is GBC-backwards-compatible, pick up Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages.
Some other good recommendations include any of the three Castlevania games on the system, Metroid Fusion, and Metroid Zero Mission.

GBA is definitely still one of the best systems in my mind. I don't know how many times I've gone back to play through the Castlevania series on it. I highly recommend Circle of the Moon if you want a challenging platformer.
I played the crap out of fire emblem advance, tactics ogre, final fantasy tactics, golden sun all of which I beat. In my early 20's I had a slow retail job and put so many hours into the gameboy advance. Now I can barely get time into my 3DS since my girlfriend is obsessed with fire emblem.
Seconding the 3 castlevania games; if you like castlevania symphony of the night, all 3 GBA titles will really scratch that itch!
I'd also like to recommend the mega man zero series ~ which I think represent the liberation of the control scheme in the SNES mega man x-x3. The grading and elf systems in MMZ kind of blow, but the graphics, game play, and aesthetics are fantastic!
Yeah, Advance SP is gameboy color compatible, and the Oracles games are the best handheld Zeldas.
This I'd argue. I've had a GBC, on which I had Oracle of Seasons and Link's Awakening, and to this day I consider Link's Awakening to be my favorite Zelda ever.

Did you skip the GBA Generation? Those were some fantastic games.
The Megaman Battle Network games aren't traditional Megaman game, they're more of a card-based battle game.
That F-Zero was my favorite of the franchise.
Metroid: Zero Mission
Metroid Fusion
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Super Mario Advance games (They're all high quality remakes/updates of classic Mario games, I much prefer these versions)
Tales of Phantasia (If you didn't play it on the SNES, or Rom with Translation, this is the first and one of the best Tales of games)
Wario Land 4

If you have both Seasons and Ages and link them, the resulting combined game beats Awakening by a decent margin.
Hell, I'd say it beats most of the console Zeldas by a decent margin. Link to the Past is the only one I'd put on its level.

I was also a HUGE fan of the megaman battle network series.
There's also a few metroid games that are freakin' awesome.

Oh man, definitely look into the Mega Man X series.
