You heard me, $0.99 for AAA titles. Sounds crazy at first but it beats the cost of how much of a budget goes into a game without downgrading the quality and frame rate of graphic capabilities like with Indie titles. There's still that argument that graphics don't always dictate how good a game is but there needs to be an even balance of both graphics and gameplay instead of using graphics exclusively as a cheap way to earn cash and sell product otherwise you'd be playing a game with beautiful graphics but the gameplay wouldn't match up to it.
I don't think Virtual Reality is the next hot gimmick in the video game industry but rather it's more along the lines of an all entertainment medium similar to Amazon TV which is definitely better than what Microsoft is doing with the XBox One. Nintendo recently admitted that they need to go beyond just developing and producing video games which is a step in the right direction for the company yet hopefully they won't lose sight of what made them successful down the road. Sony got lucky before Facebook bought out the Oculus Rift and it's patents so I guess we'll see how it goes from there.
