Finished Borderlands 2 on the weekend, took me three weeks
Just found out that to get access to the good stuff you need to play the game again because the first playthrough will have items capped at level 30
I reached level 30 a good while before the end of the game so the final third of the game was complete chore: I killed everything on sight and never got good loot (which is what the game is all about)
I'm an older gamer (almost 30 now!) and don't have the patience for multiple playthroughs of games one after the other (unless it's Half-Life 1) so while I found Borderlands 2 absolutely amazing and addictive they completely ruined the final part of the game and I have considerably soured on it.
Next game on the list? Probably Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm
Oh nice, I like borderlands, I've played it a few times over at a friend's house and it was really fun, though, it was only the first one that i played perhaps I should check out the second one sometime.
Right now, I just finished Dragon Quest 9 for the Nintendo DS last boss was really hard and so I had to do alot of side quests and all of that other jazz that takes a huge amount of time.

Borderlands 2 is way, way better than the first one.
Take the first one and make it better in every single way and you've got the second one. Word to the wise don't bother doing everything on your first playthrough! Try to finish the game at level 30 because I finished it at level 35 and the last few chapters were a snooze fest because of how powerful I was.
Went back and replayed all of Advance Wars campaign this last week. So fuggin' good. Besides Pokemon, it will always remain my favorite handheld franchise.
I'm going to start on Advance Wars: Dual Strike now. That's one hell of a game as well; maybe even the best one.

Definitely agree. I loved how you can play quick pickup games or drawn-out campaigns. That it's for a handheld makes it all the better.
Shame Days of Ruin/Dark Conflict was comparatively subpar, though.
Just mowed through the Dragonborn DLC of Skyrim. I had a great time. Apocrypha was an excellent addition and there was sufficient Morriwind nostalgia thrown in there too. Especially the tunes - they busted out several old songs from Morrowind. I must have had the biggest nostalgia-induced nerd smile on my face when this one came on:
New XCOM: Enemy Unknown on normal difficulty. Once you get ghost armor, plasma weapons, and colonels the game becomes really easy: my sniper took out the end boss in one turn.
I'd like try Classic Ironman difficulty for my next playthrough. That, however, will have to wait until I'm done with Dead Space 3.

I hear ya. You almost need to take out the end boss in one turn though. If you don't, the AE damage and mind control effects can end your team really quickly.
I definitely reccommend Ironman mode. Definitely ups the difficulty level of the game and tension. Very fun!

I hope you don't get angry at games because that's going to be quite difficult! It will be very intense though, definitely worthwhile.
I always wanted to try dead space 3 because I have always liked survival horror type of games. One of my friends play it a ton for the pc and says it's really awesome.
I keep hearing about the fire emblem game on here. I should definitely try to check it out sometime. I also still need to finish Dragon quest 6 for the Nintendo DS.

The game was good, but I haven't really been entertained with any other game since...

Pretty good actually, wasn't sure about the styling, but it suited the Wii's limited capabilities nicely.

Thinking of dusting off my old copy of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and playing through that again.
I saluted the screen at the end

I suggest you do, I beat the game and realized that I missed some amount of brush techniques...time to start the "master quest"
