For every masterpiece film, there are many more films that are considered to be of poor quality. However, just as some masterpiece films may have detractors, the "bad" films may have people who are f0nd of them. Therefore, I have made this thread for users who are fond of films that are often regard very negatively to share that fondness.
For example, I actually enjoyed Batman and Robin very much; while it is unquestionably the worst film of the Burton/Schumacher series, it is so hilarious and campy that I always laugh when I watch it. Plus, that movie was released when I was only ten years old, so it has great nostalgic and sentimental value for me.
I also believe that, while the 1998 Godzilla film is not a masterpiece by any stretch of imagination, it is not a completely terrible film, either, as it was much more serious than many of the campy Japanese films that preceded it.
What about everyone else? Are there any "bad" films of which you are very fond, and why?

I think The Punisher (2004) is decent. I don't think it's GREAT, but it's not stale garbage like most people seem to think either. At the very least, you all gotta say that the stripe-shirt hitman scene is nothing short of awesome.
My favorite 'bad' movies are usually from the horror genre. I can watch the 1st Evil Dead and the Tom Savini 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead over and over again.
Another, very acquired taste of mine, are movies by director John Moritsugu - Mod F*** Explosion, Fame Whore, Scumrock, etc. They are super abrasive, low-brow, art-punk movies, and definitely not for everyone. They are, for those that can tolerate them, some of the most quotable movies on the planet.
Lawnmower Man, The Net, and Demolition Man are my holy trinity of bad 90's movies that I just love.
I almost put Buffy The Vampire on the list but it's not a bad movie. Merely cheesy and kind of astonishing at times. The mix of unknowns(Hilary Swank, Kristy Swanson, and a 90 second Ben Affleck cameo), 90's mainstays(Luke Perry and David Arquette), and WTF casting choices(Paul Reubens and Donald Sutherland) and a reverse horror movie plot created a movie that just can't be firmly placed in the bad category because it was the first of it's kind.
Signs gets a bad rap for Shyamalan cheese, the found footage V/H/S/ films are awesome, the Hills Have Eyes remake (NOT the sequel though), and Pain & Gain was really cool as well.
It's a long list. My friends and I are into 'bad' movies. I love all the 1984-era and beyond Godzilla films (including GINO, just as a random giant monster flick and not Godzilla). Lots of terrible 80's action movies fit in here as well. Pretty much any creature feature, too.
I, too, enjoyed V/H/S (and though the second one had some "meh" arcs, it was alright). I went to Wal-Mart and bought a $5 thing of really, really bad films (it came with 12 or so of them) and I just really enjoy horrible movies because they're so fun to make fun of. I also enjoy things like the old Godzilla films, and, hell, most of what's been listed in this thread.
I'm sure there are others, they're just not coming to mind yet.

Escape from LA was humorous and captured a lot of elements from the original. The film gets a bad reputation, I think, because it did not have the dark setting that the previous one had. I am somehow able to look past this and enjoy the film, though. I almost wonder if John Carpenter was in some way parodying his original work with the sequel, though maybe that's my just rationalizing the end of the film scene with everyone in the helicopter, heh...

Hudson Hawk. It's basically solid cheese from beginning to end, but I love it. The banter between Bruce Willis and Danny Aiello is great, and the musical numbers are fantastic. It's one of the few movies that, if I happen to be flipping channels and see that it's on, I'll sit and watch it to the end.

More that they're not well-known movies than that they're considered to be particularly bad, but:
Repo The Genetic Opera
Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Wizards (Ralph Bakshi animated film)
Movies that were actually considered to be horrible that I like because I think they're secretly brilliant:
Dune (the 1984 one, though I liked the Sci-fi channel miniseries too)
Titan AE (Don Bluth animated film)
Death Race 2000 (the 1975 one with David Carradine in it)
Movies that were objectively horrible that I like for nostalgia:
My Little Pony Rescue at Midnight Castle
My Little Pony The Movie
(Both of which are 1980s G1 movies having nothing in common with modern G4 Friendship Is Magic stuff. Seriously, unless you are a preschool-age girl, do not let these movies be your introduction to the magical world of ponies.)
Planet Terror is amazing and campy along with Slither. The latter has better elements due to its black humor though. It gets in your skin too.
I don't care what anyone says about Last Action Hero. It's supposed to be campy. Though seriously it would be a great movie with better execution. I mean if Pocahontas (Avatar) is space made a great movie then anything's possible.
Speaking of Avatar, I really liked Avatar (NOT the last airbender. That movie is legitimately awful) It wasn't terribly original, but it was perhaps the best visualized movie to tell the story it told, and the planet was very wonderful in its own design. Avatar was also amazing when seen in 3D. One of the few movies that actually benefits from it, IMO.
I love the classic, B horror flicks that would be played on USA Up All Night.
Here's the list:
All Toxic Avenger's
Student Bodies
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Ghoulies
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
C.H.U.D.
Any bad 80's zombie movie
Also dig bad comedies, like Bio-Dome and UHF.

The movie is entertaining. People just didn't like it because it's not Godzilla.
I like watching Wrath of the Titans too.
The latest Indiana Jones flick. I don't care about the idiocies. It's a funny movie.
The Matrix Trilogy.
The Stars Wars prequels.
I also kinda like Daredevil.

You put the full stop too early. You were supposed to put "were amazing films" before it.
