We just ask that if you are making something, that it's something you'd be proud to share. For example, Abby's really good at knitting stuff, so she's proud to share it. Whereas I can draw a derpy looking pikachu, so I can throw that in as an extra on someone's gift, but that shouldn't be the whole gift. If I took hours honing that pikachu to look amazing after repeated tries, then that might be a gift worth the effort. In other words, it shouldn't be something that took you 10 seconds to make. It should be something that you think your giftee would enjoy and that you put effort into making. It doesn't have to be anything amazing either. A calendar from shutterfly with photos the person would enjoy would be fine. Or you could be like me and make/find demotivational posters to give out. Or you could make a Magic card collage or something. As long as it's not something from the outrageous lies thread like a poop sculpture, then anything you make is welcome.

If you mailed that gingerbread house overnight express mail, then that'd be an amazing gift, but I don't think the post office wants us mailing things like that.

(In case you didn't get the hint, the third line in my previous post is hinting that I might want to actually do this next year, since I won't have any exams in the way... though I may have to actually start early.)


So, yeah, expect some altered basic lands among other things. Something maybe along the lines of these.


Don't expect a cheese grater though.

Well, if you do decide to participate in next year's annual Secret Santa, then we'll be more than happy to have you. If I'm super poor next year, then the presents may just be demotivational posters. Or if there are abandoned cards left in my store, then maybe I'll tape together a deck box for my Secret Santa giftee next year.

My new business sold 6 orders today. :3 I am pleased with this.

DQ "broke the stained glass" back in September, I think, where he changed his custom title from "Nissa's Fangirl" to "Nissa's Fanboy", stating that he was tired of lying to himself and to everyone. He didn't change his username though (which I find somewhat unusual).

We still haven't seen DQ's face.





*Breaking the stained glass = coming out from behind your own lies; to reveal that something you said about yourself was in fact a lie.

Yes, Iso, they are exactly what I would have imagined.

Hooray Saturday! A whole day with nothing planned. Whatever shall I do? Knit, probably.

And what will I do? Hm... I want to make another music quiz (the "redux" quiz, where I take mostly easier songs from the first three 100-song Rapid Fire quizzes and combine them into an easier quiz more suited for publication.

That and finish a bunch of other quizzes on the drawing board. I have quite a few things to do on my winter break.




(Chances are someone in this clan is a better jumper than Aurora is, though they haven't made this known yet. Is that true?)

"Project: Up in the Air" is referring to the "project" of getting more people to get a photo of themselves doing a star jump for their profile photo. Of course, that probably won't realistically happen before Lasersharp's first album Up in the Air gets released.

Laser: If I lose 10 more pounds, then maybe I'll consider that jumping photo for you. Maybe. I make no promises.

I had my hair did today, and it smells (and looks) awesome.

I look forward to seeing that, if it happens.
(Though I'm sure you should already be able to do it... since you're the best jumper in this clan as far as I know.)

I'm guessing you can do a star jump more than 1 m off the ground or so, which is something I can't do myself. So, sure, I can imagine it, but a picture makes things that much better.
