Well, actually, remember Tori, the woman I was dating before Melissa? We reconnected in a big way after Melissa and I broke up, and after about a year, I just decided screw it. She thought I was just going to ask her if we could start dating again, but I took it to a different level. I know who I want to spend the rest of my life with,and i just don't find myself attracted to anyone else anymore, so I didn't see a point in NOT proposing.

I know it would have been pretty late on a Sunday night, and not very many restaurants stay open that late on Sundays.
@Moss: We're setting up official all-encompassing rules for clan contests this year that will involve three categories of the game host's decision and each of those categories will be given a 1-5 star rating by each reviewing clan, giving participating clans a 3-15 point spread + 1 point for participating, or +2 points if that clan wins. That way, the contests should be tighter throughout the year and more inclusive.

I wanted something that can be played by clan members but on an individual basis, where clan members, when they get an idea, can just post. That's pretty much what improv is all about.

Anyways, so I was told that the Open Mic is on February 5th, and it's a 1990s-themed one... so I can't play my own pieces since I didn't start composing music before age 8 like Mozart did. So that got me thinking... and I really need to get back to learning Cliffs of Dover again.
I will be wearing my FREE HUGS shirt then, too.
I may or may not be able to find a singer at that event.

If you could, I'd say to check out the clan council thread and take a look at the proposed rules and scoring rubrics and see how your idea could be implemented somehow in due course. There has been a lot of interest in your idea, it's just that other reps are interested in how it could function.
Generally the north isn't too terrible about snow; it's only the south where they aren't equipped for it that there's real problems (see for example: Alabama just had a snowstorm and there are crashes absolutely everywhere). Excepting the last two days of extreme cold, it's been years since I last had a snow day (something like 5-6). And we've definitely had more than a little ice on the ponds.
Yeah, I get it, and I certainly overexaggerated a bit. It's still funny how it hits the news. "The United states [some area within] has been struck with abnormally cold weather, blahblahblah", and then you google the weather there and it's like "-12 celsius".
The hilarious thing is that it happens pretty much each year. I get that the US is a big place, but still.
