MTG Salvation

• Phantasmal Image - The cheapest copycat (without further investment) in the game. Even with his destruction clause he can cause problems and at worst a nuisance. He works best when you want to abuse another creature's entering play effect.
  
• Shapesharer - Another budget copycat. As most of your other shapeshifters change types when they come into play, he's most likely to target himself with his ability. :2mana::symu: still isn't a bad buffing ability.
  
• Cackling Counterpart - Unfortunately this can only copy your own creatures but the fact that it can be cast twice makes it worth it.
  
• Cryptoplasm - A delayed copy so don't be surprised when opponents kill him before he gets a chance to change.
  
• Dimir Doppelganger - Another shapeshifter that requirese investment and worst of all setup. However it also allows you to deal with opponents that like graveyard tricks.
  
• Clone - The Ur-Shapeshifter.
  
• Evil Twin - I love the flavor of this guy. He's great commander removal if your opponents can't deal with him while costing no more than a Clone.
  
• Necrotic Ooze - I'll admit I'm not sure he will pull his weight but I'm interested to see what he will do.
  
• Phyrexian Metamorph - The improved Clone. Not only can he also copy artifacts but he can also cost less if you're willing to spare 2 life.
  
• Sakashima's Student - Just like Clone except he can come in cheaper if you're willing to use his Ninjutsu ability. Especially nice if you want a copycat to take on a new creature's identity.
  
• Sakashima the Impostor - A Clone better suited to copying Legendary creatures as like your commander he maintains his name. His bounce ability also helps his survivability.
  
• Body Double - Honestly, half the time worse that a 4 cost copycat but in midgame there are often better targets in graveyards than on the battlefield.
  

Vesuvan Doppelganger & Vesuvan Shapeshifter - Basically, you're paying more than a Clone in order to have flexibility when better creatures come along.

• Stolen Identity - If you have evasion then this card becomes amazing. Best of all if you're able to cast it on an evading Lazav.
  
• Quicksilver Gargantuan - Okay, I'm just a sucker for Clones. In reality, he's probably weak overall.
  
• Rite of Replication - Always cast this at the Kicker level. It can be a complete game ender.
  

• Sensei’s Divining Top - A staple for nearly every commander deck due to the capability to stack your deck right.
  
• Azure Mage - Cheap creature with reusable draw. A great mana sink midgame.
  
• Sygg, River Cutthroat - You draw cards whenever anyone does damage to any of your opponents. This is amazing when you have 2+ opponents.
  
• Sword of Fire and Ice - Solid protection, targeted damage, and draw.
  
• Magus of the Future - You show your hand by playing him but with how cheap most of the deck is you can get a lot of use out of him.
  
• Consecrated Sphinx - Once this hits the board, every single one of your opponents should be finding a way to remove him. If he even lives a turn, he'll make up for his cost.
  
• Sphinx of Uthuun - Solid draw combined with a creature and a reasonable copy target.
  
• Myojin of Seeing Winds - A solid defender until you need the cards more. Also if you play a Clone-like creature then they would also get the counter.
  

• Sol Ring - Just solid mana for cost.
  
• Chromatic Lantern - Great for making your colorless lands produce the colors you need and straightening your mana out over all.
  
• Coalition Relic - An investment mana rock. Always use it last so you can get 2 mana out of it the next turn if neccesary.
  
• Darksteel Ingot - It lives through artifact hate which can be helpful.
  
• Solemn Simulacrum - Land search combined with card draw upon death. I've been in situations where even cloning him made sense.
  

Lightning Greaves & Swiftfoot Boots - Make your other creatures more like your commander with shroud and hexproof!

• Crystal Shard - Great way of avoiding creature death as well as re-triggering entering play effects.
  
• Kira, Great Glass-Spinner - Possibility of taking her out despite how much I like her. She annoys your opponents a great deal and possibly you when you realize you have to burn mana to target your own creatures and lower their shield.
  
• Deadeye Navigator - The combo maker. As soon as one creature bonded with him leaves play he can bond with a new one. If he was the one to blip out then he can bond with any of your creatures. Imagine a game where you have a Cloned Acidic Slime destroying lands at instant speed for only :1mana::symu:. That was a horrible game for my opponents.
  

• Pongify - Somehow I've avoided getting a Rapid Hybridization otherwise it would be in as well. Incredibly cheap Instant removal as the drawback is minimal.
  
• Devour Flesh - The sacrifice removal cards are mainly for indestructable, shroud, or hexproof creatures that can't be targeted directly.
  
• Echoing Truth - Try to save this for token decks as that's one of worst matches for a copy deck.
  
• Hero's Demise - At worst this is for commanders.
  
• Snapback - Removal even when tapped out.
  
• Victim of Night - This might go out for Rapid Hybridization but it's restrictions are minimal outside of Innistrad block.
  
• Dark Impostor - Amazing reusable removal with the only unfortuate side effect being that Lazav can't copy the creatures that are removed.
  
• Hinder - Best for removing commanders from the game.
  
• Murder - Just cheap, unrestricted removal.
  
• Rend Flesh - Solid removal once you get out of the Kamigawa block.
  
• Spell Crumple - Another great commander removal.
  
• Tribute to Hunger - A better but costlier version of Devour Flesh.
  
• Bane of the Living - Most likely to be used as a board wipe.
  
• Cryptic Command - Its versatility is incredibly strong.
  
• Damnation - Simple board wipe.
  
• Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief - Reusable removal with force pump.
  
• Evacuation - Only break glass in case of emergency. Or if you want your opponents to discard a bunch of cards. Or if tokens are really getting on your nerves.
  
• Far//Away - Five mana to remove two creatures, one more permanently than the other.
  

Duplicant & Phyrexian Ingester - Solid removal for Indestructible creatures.

• Spinal Embrace - Another versatile card. You can remove an attacker, remove a defender, and get an attacker. All while gaining some life.
  
• Visara the Dreadful - Reusable removal. Not sold on her yet.
  
• Cyclonic Rift - Evacuation but leaving your board intact. Only use if for its non-Overload if you have no choice.
  
• Decree of Pain - Good for spot removal when you cycle or putting yourself in a better board position while wiping the board.
  
• Kederekt Leviathan - Your opponents will hate you for playing this guy. Especially when you follow up next turn with a copycat copying him and returning him to your hand.
  
• Plague Wind - Expensive board removal that keeps your board intact.
  

• Ink-Eyes, Servant of Oni - She does give you back some copycats to reuse and possibly an excellent creature from you opponent. Just watch our for any player holding a Homeward Path.
  
• Artisan of Kozilek - The biggest problem with this guy is that copying him won't get you his resurrection ability as it's a cast trigger.
  

• Thespian's Stage - My best move with this was copying another player's Reliquary Tower after my opponent destroyed mine and hoped I was discard some of my 20+ hand.
  
• Vesuva - Just solid. At worst it allows you to have redundancy.
  

Cabal Coffers & Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth - These two combined can accelerate you a great amount. At worst, one's just a Swamp and the other fixes mana problems.

Minamo, School at Water's Edge - Probably doesn't pull its weight but it should have plenty of targets.

• Homeward Path - To protect your from people stealing your creatures.
  
• Miren, the Moaning Well - A card that I'm testing out that could probably be replaced.
  
• Reliquary Tower - Incredibly important for the number of cards you can draw in a game.
  
• Tolaria West - A good card for searching for your utility lands.
