Can this combo be viable now that the faster combos enablers were banned?
Thopter Assemply, return to my hand, make 5 tokens, sac'em to Time Sieve, play Thopter Assemply again, etc, etc.
I made this first draft of a deck, and I'm looking for suggestions
It's a two card combo which isn't entirely implausible. I would focus on more reactive elements though and potentially Tez the Seeker for consistency. This is an interesting take on the combo but I think I'd probably play more reactive spells if you want to go this route. Cutting
4x Etherium Sculptor
2x Phyrexian Metamorph
4x Grand Architect
4x Sphinx Herald
4x Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas
4x Remand
for more spot removal, hard counters, Damnation, etc. While this removes your ability to win turn 4, it increases your chances to win
Why not run a Gifts Ungiven package? Gifts for Sieve, Assembly, Academy Ruins, and Noxious Revial or something like that and you can easily set it up over the next couple of turns.
