I visited a GameStop for a non-MTG item and noticed that a bunch of MTG product from a year or two ago was on sale. It seemed uneven what was actually marked down and whether it was labeled as such, so have the cashier scan stuff to pricecheck. Similar was true of other TCG's.
I've been out of the game for a few years (this may draw me back in), so I could use the random cards to help catch up.
$6.97 booster battle packs, I saw a couple each Kaladesh and Shadows over Innistrad
Boosters for about $2, I got 8 Aether Revolt at $2.07 and 3 Eldritch Moon at $1.97
Oath of the Gatewatch and Shadows over Innistrad fat packs for $29.97
Kaladesh Deck Builder's Toolkit for $14.99
Various premade decks for $10.97 - I found 3 Duel Deck Nissa vs Ob Nixilis, Aether Revolt Ajani, Oath of the Gatewatch Vicious Cycle, 2 Shadows over Innistrad Horrific Visions
I went to GameStop last week because I'd heard rumors about discounted packs. There was a yellow sign on the door saying "Clearance - 50% off", and then below that were some categories, including TCGs. I asked the manager, and he said "Nope, Magic is full price. Clearance is over there." And he pointed me at a rack that included some Pokemon packs. So, YMMV with GameStop.

Along with many mods, I've moved shop over to MTGNexus. Come check us out!
The 2 near me can vary widely in what's available and what's on sale
No major TCG clearances lately but til the 8th for $4.99 toys/collectibles that fit in a particular bag are 25% off. This makes retail prices comparable to online, and anything that's already on sale becomes a great deal.
I got an Iconic Masters pack for $8, the Rivals of Ixalan planeswalker decks for $12, the RIX bundle for $34, the Ixalan bundle at $24, and I could've gotten a couple more small things in the bag.
