Pardon me if my english is poor (i'm french canadian), but I really feel like I need to ask the community for it's opinion about a seller.
I want to acquire some important pieces of Vintage Power Nine and a person told me about Daniel Chang from Vintagemagic.com
My question is: Is he a reliable seller ? Is he selling counterfeits ? Does somebody know if I can trust him ?
Thank you very much.
Hi! Welcome to MTGS.
Daniel Chang's VintageMagic store is fairly reputable. They have a good reputation for having original art, graded power, and other high-end and unique items. I have never personally purchased from him, because I am not rich enough to be able to afford Power pieces, but I would certainly consider his store if I did end up in a position to be able to afford them.
Salut, bienvenue a MTGS!
Hopefully this helps. Apologies - it's been a few years so my French is a bit rusty.

I read a fair amount on the high end facebook page. there are actually several. One in particular discusses graded magic cards. There are mixed opinions on Daniel Chang there. Primarily, people think of him as a shark - he will try to lowball all the cards he purchases from you and will try to get the absolute most for any card he is selling. He will never offer opinions on what prices of hard to find or unusual prices are and never discloses what the "going rate" or others have paid for cards are. Several on the page seem to think he's unethical in his approach. Unfortunately I cannot remember where it is. With that said, he's always been known to deal in legitimate cards and is very keen on identifying fakes and removing them from circulation.
Yes I heard some negative things about him when he was running his previous website ''gradedmagiccards.com'' (or something like that), but nothing dramatic, more like a conflict between him and a seller about an order (refund problems). I heard things regarding his personallity as well but then again, nothing really dramatic : Unpleasant person (to say it politely) + Sharky attitude. That's why I asked to community for additionnal information, because I dont want to do business if the guy is a fraud of some sort. If anyone has additionnal information, feel free to tell me all about it !
