It's been over a week now since I mailed in 3 Mutavaults for store credit and still nothing. No replies to emails, just nothing. Are they always this incompetent?
Might want to try calling them instead of emailing, I've found that sometimes when dealing with online stores, this can be the easiest way to guarantee being able to speak with someone who works there. Its entirely possible they simply have a large backlog of items being sold to them, but either way I think calling them would be your best bet.

I cant speak for you precisely, however I do know they they were MASSIVELY swarmed with buying and selling for Modern. It has slowed them down for card selling considerably since its release. I would first check the post office tracking to make sure it made it to them, and then call them if it did.
PS I use Cardkingdom for almost all online stuff I do.

**** this site. I'd delete this account but that doesn't seem to be an option. The mods here are ******* useless ********s who ban people for simple ass normal words. **** them and **** this site.
A couple prices on your cards must have jumped up I'm pretty sure they adjust up.
I've sold to Card Kingdom many times (local game store), and in my experience, the prices when you submit your sell list are locked in regardless of whether their buy prices go up or down. They will adjust downward for poor consist ion though.
Did you perhaps include some cards in the order not in the original invoice?

Due to real-life obligations, I am taking a long break from Magic which may include missing the local Legacy GP. Apologies for not being able to keep my threads updated.
Hello all, a few weeks ago I asked who was the best company to buylist cards too. I eventually decided to go with Cardkingdom.com based on their very strong buy list prices and 30% trade in bonus. They received my cards, and processed my order.
I had sent them a few cards that were less then Nm, and they only deducted a small amount for the lesser condition. I was very, very pleased with the amount that I received on my cards.
The only problem I had was that I had a very large order sitting in the cart, and due to some weird technical issue the cart emptied after sitting untouched for a week of which they said they are in the process of fixing. They do list a notification that any order left untouched for a week will be deleted as it looks to be abandoned. This was my error for not reading the full details.
I messaged them a few times not really mad about the cart being emptied, and their response was absolutely astonishing to me. Usually when I contact most companies they give me the run around, and it takes forever to get anything done.
Not this time. Not with Card Kingdom. Not only did I get a immediate response. I also received %15 percent off 4 cards that were re listed at higher price when my cart was deleted, and on top of it they gave me another $50 in credit.
To say the least I am blown away by the outstanding customer service that Card Kingdom has shown. A+++. I will only buy from them from now on, and give a huge shout out to Rishelle, the customer service agent.
Best of all, they will be adding foils to their online sales within the next few months. I can't wait to purchase from them again.
Thanks for reading this everyone. Just felt as though they deserved a huge shout out for going above and beyond for us magic players!
A lot of praise has been said about CK and this one is no different. Terrific customer service and quick and fair on the grading. A couple of things I learned from my recent transactions with them that maybe some of you did not know.
1. Best way to reach them is through email, you can try calling them but most of the time no one picks up. I think there's only 1 person who answers phone calls and he is usually busy doing other things.
2. They sell miscellaneous things (such as Chinese 7th edition boosters) on eBay that they do not sell on their main website. They cannot remove the eBay listing so you can't use store credit to buy those items.
3. For scan requests, you have to buy the cards and select send payment as check. This will allow them to get the cards out of the safe. This is the same method to reserve cards which is pretty neat. No other stores that I know of allows you to do that.
Dealing with cardkingdom myself and I have to say this costumer service is amazing as well as their buylist. For most legacy staples its almost better than selling cash on ebay (if your going to use the money to reinvest into magic)
I'm planning on buying cards for my EDH deck from Card Kingdom. Is there someone who has bought EX graded cards from them?
The price difference between NM and EX does add up after a while, but I don't want to regret things afterwards.
Is there a better quality image showing their EX graded cards (the one on their site is pretty lowres)?
I've ordered an EX Survival of the Fittest and EX Gaea's Cradle from them and they both looked pretty good. The cradle had like one small nick at the top of the card but was basically NM otherwise. The Survival similarly had a small but noticeable nick and at the top but i was happy with it otherwise. It looks like their EX cards have something that keeps it from being NM but in my experience, they've still been great.
I've been using cardkingdom for 7 to 8 years now and have never had a complaint, they only ever sent me the wrong card one time and it was a profane command, when i contacted them about it they were fast and friendly and sent me my primal command whiten the next two business days and told me i could keep the profane as a gift. Overall i would give them a 10/10 great place and definitely the place i order from all the time, i hope they keep up the great work. I highly recommend them.
I am very active on the buy lists and CardKingdom has some of the best prices around. I have noticed in the past few months the turn around both buying and selling has slowed down. I'm curious if this is volume issue.
Hi everyone,
Just wanted to post my latest experience with Card Kingdom's grading of foil cards, and in one case, a card that I believed to be a fake. I'm sharing my experience so that anyone thinking of buying with CK can have a bit more information while searching for options. I know that this thread is filled with praises for CK, and this post will stick out like a sore thumb; but I think that it is also important to hear about the good, as well as the bad. Unfortunately, this is the latter.
It might get lengthy, so I'll include a TL:DR at the end.
As a bit of background. I've been purchasing from Card Kingdom since 2009 with close to 2,500$ worth of singles. This wasn't the only company that I have purchased from, but it was one of my favorites. That is, until last July, when I had an issue with an order that I placed, followed up with this issue that I'm about to go into. In the past I've urged friends to use the site, and have never regretted it. However, there seems to be a recent shift in grading, and it's left me with a lot to be desired.
I purchased about 100 dollars worth of singles during CK's "Tenless" promotion (10% discount of singles). I ordered a bunch of singles that I have been looking for and was happy to finally get this singles.
When I finally received the package, I noticed that 10 out of the 14 cards were not correctely graded. 8 of those I bought as NM, while the other two I bought their tier right under, which CK marks as Excellent. This is including one of the cards (Tawnos's Coffin) to be a fake.
My first course of action was to inspect the Coffin, it was glossy, like a playing card. I brought it to 2 different LGS, I didn't mention CK or that I thought it was fake. But instead just asked them to grade the card for me as I was potentially looking to sell it. The first shop inspected it for 20 minutes, and kept going back and forth on the card stating that something felt off. Finally, they said that they wouldn't accept the card as they had doubts of their legitimacy; they offered to keep in on hold for a day so that they could inspect a card using their normal method while buying singles (this is a small store that is run by an old man). I declined as my main goal was the get another opinion and wasn't looking to sell this card to the store. I want it for playing. The other LGS took it to was a big online retailer in Canada. The person across the counter immediately dismissed the card as a fake.
The Tawnos's Coffin appears to be real, unless it feels totally off when handled or light test fails. There's no Coffin in any batch of the chinese fakes (and older fakes are usually inferior), and while the photo quality isn't good enough to check ink patterns with 100% certainty on the casting cost, it seems to be correct, the black bevel edges are continuous, edges are solid, font and other details are normal. So I strongly suggest you ask somebody who has actually handled fakes before, because I doubt this one is a fake.
As for the foils, yes those are scratched and misgraded, but taking the pics against light to highlight the scratches and stating those are really awful is not the best way to get recomped. In this type of situations I personally give the seller the option to regrade their cards and choose how much they compensate me for. I'm usually positively surprised. In your case it seems that you got refunded and the person answering you had a bad day, which you should not suffer from.
But my main point is that the Coffin seems to be real and you should find a better people to authenticate cards for you before you post that a store has sent you a fake. It's a shame that some people in stores are so fast to yell fake if they don't know how to tell those apart from real cards. There's a certain responsibility when authenticating cards involved so one should be quite certain before going public.
Do you know more or less how often do they run 5% discounts on MTG? I remember than some months ago you had a 5% after doing a survey. I want to make an order but I'm not in a hurry and I can wait if they do that relatively often.
You can use the coupon code "LoadingReadyRun" for 5% off anytime. If you put "LRR sent me" in the comment box they also sometimes send you a mtg themed button.

Hello , i want to order some 3rd edition dual lands from CK , do they test the land they buy?
Can i be certain i will not been scamed (been burned before) , did some one try to buy from them already cards from reserved list?
Thank you
typically a couple times a year (like 3-4), i dont think the discount has gone higher then 15/20 %. It used to be that they just had a flat out discount, but i guess a store credit bonus isnt bad either

Last Sunday I ordered $200+ of cards from them, and also put in two sell orders for roughly the same amount (combined).
The cards arrived on Thursday, and I was emailed today to say they have received and processed my sell orders too!
Top notch outfit.
I haven't had any recent issues Millerd33. I am local though, so I hand the cards to them in person.

I got word back today, that all the cards I thought were inappropriately graded were actually, according to Cardkingdom, were the correct grade. So the cards that you are viewing, according to CK, are their version of NM. Also, the Tawnos Coffin was confirmed to be a real card, which is concerning since 2 other shops said otherwise. But whatever, older cards have varying print-runs.
They offered to refund the amount I paid for the cards, and have since done so; however, the amount is different than what I calculated, I asked them about it, and their response is "go look at your transaction history." Helpful. At this point I probably won't be purchasing from them again and anyone thinking so in the future should be aware of what appears to be a looser grading system than what they previously employed which is disappointing.
TL:DR; cards I got from Cardkingdom were no where close to NM. Their grading system has gotten looser, be weary of buying foils expecting good quality cards.
As for the foils, yes those are scratched and misgraded, but taking the pics against light to highlight the scratches and stating those are really awful is not the best way to get recomped.
