How long does the process of selling cards to CFB take?
I sold them cards from New Zealand, was <24 hrs for them to confirm the list
they received the item ~1 week after I sent it and pretty much credited my account in 12 hours or so.

Thanks. i was just wondering how long it takes them to reply to the list.
My last order from CFB hasn't been shipped yet. Supposed to be 4 Skinshifter so I was not really in a hurry, but I will call them on Monday with the email info that I have.

Was upset enough about this that I thought I'd post it. I went to GenCon, and was selling cards to different dealers. So was selling to channelfireball...
Him: 2.50 for Bloodlord of Vaasgoth
Me: The promo? How many do you want?
Him: All you have.
At this point I pull out a fair amount of them (maybe 15 total), put them on the table. We go through the rest of my stuff, and they end up offering enough on my shocklands too (about 15 shocks). After everything is said and done, this happens (with no outside influence):
Him: Hey man, I can't buy these Bloodlords. I guess I'll give you .50 on them.
All I have to say is, what the hell. I specifically specified the promo, I asked how many he'd buy, we went through the entire freaking thing and he didn't say a word till the end. From what the guys there were saying to each other the deal was his boss told him to buy the promos at 2.50 and he just decided not to get any more.
I plan to never purchase anything from channelfireball ever again. You say you'll buy something at a certain price, you do it. Contrast this with trollandtoad; they offered me a bit too much for a random foil and we had this conversation:
Him: $5?
Me: Sure =D
Him: It's not worth that much is it.
Me: Well, a bit more.
Him: But not much more.
Me: Yep.
He clearly never even considered not buying it for the price offered. He said how much he was buying it for so that's how much he'd buy it for.
Ill be the first to admit, that when you quote a price, and then go back on it, that thats just poor business.
That said, its possible that the guy may not have realized you had so many to start with, and then when he was going through all the other stuff, realized how many he may have allready bought previously and decided it was probably best that he not buy them. It can be tough when you arent the head guy. To him you were just another person trying to get some quick cash, and he would rather irritate you potentially, than to irritate his boss.
Im not excusing what happenned, but I can understand how a situation like that might have happenned, especially after you whipped out 15 of them, hehe :p.
Shrug. E-mailed their guy who does the buylist, and basically he said that I should never have been quoted that price so I shouldn't be mad that I didn't get it.
It would have been better if he would've said something like "Oh, I'm really sorry, I quoted you the wrong price on the Bloodlords, our actual buy price is .50". It was just handled very poorly from a customer service perspective.
I have never submitted a buylist to an online retailer before, but I just sent in a touch over $200 worth of stuff, mostly stuff in the .50-$2 range, and I was extremely satisfied. From me shipping out my cards to receiving my check in the mail was 7 days. I chose check over paypal thinking to save fees.
They were very quick to reply to emails and the entire process was seamless. In addition, the way their buylist works is just adding items to a cart as opposed to typing out everything you have including condition and edition. It was a very streamlined process compared to the others I have since checked out online.
I recommend Channel Fireball for buylist transactions.
In summation.....Star Trek wins a prolonged naval battle against superior, yet less technologically advanced, numbers, with Picard leading the assault, while Kirk takes your soul by laying out Solo and probably his manservant Chewy as well, before impregnating and ditching your Princess.
CFB is great. I ordered a mass of cards(including a playeset of solemn simulacrums) back when solemn was $5 each. Since i live in australia, shipping usually takes 2-3 weeks. By the time the cards reached solemn was worth close to $10 but they forgot/didnt include it in my package so i was feeling pretty damn suspicious.
I emailed them to sort out the situation and they immediately agreed to resend me my solemns immediately. Customer service is great.
Is this site safe to buy from? It looks pretty good and has some really good prices on some things, but I want to make sure it's good before I buy from it. So, feedback on this site?
I would advise everyone here to read over at MOTL the issues they are experiencing with Channel Fireball.
CFB posted a buy list and some members have had an issue getting paid. They currently have a BTR against CFB. Just something to keep in mind when selling them cards.
im pretty surprised by this thread ive made ~20 orders from cfb and haven't had any problems and ive also sold them many cards and haven't had any problems with that either
Having placed a couple of orders at CFB without any issues I pre-ordered some innistrad cards. Because I got a Garruk Relentless at the pre-release I decided to cancel the Garruk from the pre-order because I mainly play EDH and only needed one. (I did not mind paying 10% cancelation fee since it already dropped 15$)
I sent an email on Tuesday before the release, but they were not able to change the order because they could not track the order. Shipment was very quick and all cards from the order were included but this will definitely be my last order at CFB.
So... you're refusing to buy from a store because they shipped your order exactly as you ordered it? This seems nonsensical.
I've had some good experiences with them so far. I put in a big order for commons, uncommons, foils, and tokens. I got everything I ordered. It was a very mixed lot with high numbers of some things and low of other. I was impressed there was no mistakes and it came very quick!

I placed my first order on Channel Fireball on sunday. I've got the e-mail that says my order is ready to ship, but it still hasn't shipped. Does anybody have any experience with how long it usually takes from you place the order until it ships?
Just wanted to mention that CFB did me a favor over the weekend and I greatly appreciated it. I placed an order on Saturday and another on Sunday then sent them an email asking if the orders could be combined. They had already been prepped for shipping, but they refunded me the price of shipping on one anyway. It wasn't a whole lot of money, but I really appreciate it when a company is willing to go that extra bit for a costumer. Plus they have Flusterstorms for $5 less than SCG so there's that too. SCG has since lowered their price on Flusterstorm, at the time there was a $5 price discrepancy. I guess the fervor over Modern/DA is sending the price of Legacy staples down for a bit.
